Gary Sinise To Receive Distinguished Service Honor From Military Veterans Organization Heroes Linked
Gary Sinise, a longtime advocate for service members and military veterans, tonight will be honored by Heroes Linked with its distinguished service award.
The non-profit, which is throwing its annual gala at the Beverly Hilton, assists veterans, military spouses, service members transitioning to civilian life, and Gold Star families. That includes efforts to secure housing and to offer college grant assistance.
Joe Mantegna, last year’s recipient, will present the award to Sinise. They have frequently co-hosted the National Memorial Day Concert in Washington, D.C.
Sinise established the Gary Sinise Foundation in 2011 to support veterans and first responders, including building custom homes for severly wounded soldiers and providing equipment and training.

TV series sevelopment continues on the Crown International Pictures reboot of director William Sachs 1980 comedic science fiction feature "Galaxina" (1980):

Stratten, 'Playboy Playmate Of The Year' was killed in a murder/suicide shortly after the film's release and became the subject of director Bob Fosse's feature "Star 80" (1983).
