In the images, Pitt can be seen sporting a different hairstyle compared to the last time viewers saw him in Once Upon a Time in Hollywood. He appears to be in a location that's been made up to look like a movie theater.

Image
F1 recently released in theaters, with Brad Pitt’s Sonny Hayes quickly becoming an iconic character. With his magnetic, rough-and-tumble cowboy persona, Hayes turns around a dire situation for the fictional Apex Gp team in Formula One.

Pitt’s Hayes is easily one of the most talented and daring drivers in movies, having vast experience driving in the most adverse conditions. As a result, Hayes might be the best of the best, and we are certain he could defeat most of the popular movie drivers on this list, including one character who may just be his archrival. Here are the seven movie drivers Brad Pitt’s Sonny Hayes can beat in racing.

7. Ricky Bobby (Talladega Nights) Ricky Bobby in Talladega Nights (Credit: Sony Pictures).

Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby might be a comedy movie on the surface, but it features some intense racing scenes. It features Will Ferrell...

Justin Long Is Unrecognisable in New Photo – Is He Playing Shel Silverstein?
Image
Justin Long turned 47 and celebrated the occasion by dropping a photo that had fans (and probably a few confused scroll-stoppers) doing double-takes. Bald head, wild bushy beard? He looks less like the guy from Dodgeball and more like someone who’d either write The Giving Tree or lead a cult in the desert. “47 y.o. And I’ve finally entered my Shel Silverstein phase!” he wrote on Instagram. “He was my favorite when I was a boy (and he still is!).” Naturally, speculation exploded. Wait, is Justin Long playing Shel Silverstein? Is there a biopic about the beloved author on the way? View this post on Instagram A post shared by Justin Long (@justinlong) Christina Hendricks commented, “You are playing Shel! My favorite.” Nathan Fillion, Emile Hirsch, and David Krumholtz all chimed in with love. What’s confusing is that there’s no confirmed Shel Silverstein film in the works.

15 Best Supernatural Horror Movies Of All Time, Ranked
Image
What exactly is a supernatural horror film? The defining word there, supernatural, refers to things and events beyond our scientific understanding, but that's far broader a definition than it might sound. Vampires and werewolves, zombies and witches, cursed objects and nightmares bleeding into the real world -- they're all beyond our grasp and therefore supernatural. Heck, all eight "Leprechaun" movies and all but the first two "Friday the 13th" films fit the bill, too.

Narrowing down the best supernatural horror films becomes a daunting task given that lens, so we're going to drill down a little deeper. For our purposes here, we're going to focus on a more generally accepted view of the supernatural, namely, things that are attributable to an ethereal source and mostly unseen. Think ghosts, demonic entities, vengeful spirits, and the like. Of course, even this slimmer definition leaves the door wide open with literally hundreds of worthy contenders,...

Ocean's Eleven and MCU Stars Join Brad Pitt's Once Upon a Time in Hollywood Sequel
Image
A sequel to Quentin Tarantino's Once Upon a Time in Hollywood is moving forward at Netflix. While David Fincher will be taking the helm, the follow-up film will bring back Brad Pitt as Cliff Booth, the former stuntman from the original. Now, some of his co-stars are being revealed.

Per The Hollywood Reporter, newcomers to the cast of Once Upon a Time in Hollywood's sequel include Scott Caan and Elizabeth Debicki. Details about their characters have not yet been revealed, as the plot of the movie remains mostly shrouded in mystery. All that's known is that the film is expected to be set in a later time period, and it's also unclear if any material from Tarantino's 2021 tie-in novel, which divulged some of Cliff's backstory, will be utilized.

According to THR, Tarantino was initially considering having the film serve as his final movie as director before shelving that idea.

Quentin Tarantino planning making-of books on each of his films
Image
The Making Of Once Upon A Time In Hollywood will be the first of ten new Quentin Tarantino books about the making of his films. More here.

He might not be in a rush to make another film, but Quentin Tarantino seems to be very much enjoying his work in books. His latest projects – and there will be lots of projects – cover a series of books he’s intending to write about the making of each of his films.

He’s inked a deal with Insight Editions, that’ll see him working with Jay Glennie to create ten different books across the ten films he’ll have made as a director.

The idea is for these to be coffee table books, although my own personal coffee table is reserved strictly for coffee. That notwithstanding, we can assume that these will be hefty tomes with lots of pictures, and a little...

"They Don't See the Fan Base": 'Speed Racer' 4K Uhd Release Gets Disappointing Update From Lilly Wachowski [Exclusive]
Image
For a franchise that only has one movie adaptation, released almost 20 years ago, Speed Racer has managed to retain an impressive and passionate fan base. The cult following that the film earned over the years would make you think that the Lana and Lilly Wachowski (The Matrix) movie would've earned at least one or two commemorative editions over the years, but that's hardly the case. In a new interview with Collider, Lilly Wachowski spoke about the possibility of the movie getting a 4K Uhd release, but the news is discouraging at best.

During an interview for her upcoming conversation at the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures for The Matrix trilogy, Wachowski told Collider's Steve Weintraub that she actually took it upon herself to look into Warner Bros.' re-release because of how vocal the Speed Racer community is. The problem is, this kind of decision is out of her hands and,...

Stephen King Praised This Terrifying Horror Movie, but It’s Leaving Netflix on the 15th: “Watch It, but Not Alone”Watch It, but Not Alone”
Image
On March 15, a horror film is leaving Netflix that fright fans should scramble to see — just not alone, as Stephen King warns. The Autopsy of Jane Doe is a highly unusual shocker about a mysterious corpse that causes problems for a pair of father-son coroners. Their postmortem produces baffling clues to her origins that they will have to make sense of before her curse can take over their lives.

The Last Voyage of the Demeter director André Øvredal tackled this startlingly original story that Stephen King compared favorably with Alien and the early work of body horror king David Cronenberg. The gruesome autopsy triggers a series of supernatural events, while also provoking a painful dissection of the coroners' personal history. Excellent FX complements equally great performances, the best of which is delivered by the eerily lively Jane Doe herself.

Bruce Willis & Megan Fox's $97,518 Action Movie With 8% Rt Score Surges On Netflix's Global Charts 4 Years Later
Image
Bruce Willis is no stranger to starring in thrillers. After starring in Die Hard (1988), Willis ascended to action hero royalty, reprising his role as cop John McClane in four sequels of varying quality, the most recent of which, A Good Day to Die Hard, sent the franchise out with a whimper in 2013. Willis appeared in a handful of well-received movies throughout the 2010s, including Red (2010), Moonrise Kingdom (2012), and Looper (2012), but the last decade or so of his career was mostly dominated by critically-panned, direct-to-vod action movies.

Though Willis retired from acting in 2022 after being diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia, Megan Fox remains active in the world of Hollywood. Fox rocketed to fame due to her role as Mikaela in Transformers in 2007, a role she reprised in that film's 2009 sequel, subtitled Revenge of the Fallen. Since then, Fox has continued to appear regularly on-screen, including in multiple episodes of New Girl, but...

1 of Bruce Willis' Last Films With 8% Rotten Tomatoes Score Finds New Success On Streaming
Image
Bruce Willis is one of the most prolific and popular action heroes, often playing hard-edged characters in different films. Although the actor has retired from acting, his movies continue to attract a lot of interest, even those with poor reviews.

Before retiring, Willis starred in many low-budget independent thrillers and sci-fi films, often collaborating with production company Emmett Fula Oasis. One of the films he last starred in was 2021's Midnight in the Switchgrass from the same production company. Although the movie was critically panned, the crime thriller has become a hit on Netflix, Tudum reveals.

Midnight in the Switchgrass just debuted on Netflix and, between the week of March 3 and March 9, reached number seven in the global Top 10, with 4.5 million views and 7.5 million hours viewed. This is quite an achievement, considering theonly country the film reached the Top 10 was the U.S., taking over the third spot just behind...

4 Hollywood Stars Who Got Canceled Before They Could Become A-List
Image
Hollywood is a marketing game, which means that public images of actors and other creatives are paramount. Morality clauses are an integral part of any contract that is signed between production companies and actors, giving the company (and the industry) the right to remove the actor and disengage with them.

A lot of times, this is leveled at A-list actors, whose fall from grace is quick and decisive, but more often than not, it also plagues actors who are on the path to becoming big names in Hollywood. When they do get canceled, they are all over the news for a few short months and then disappear off of the face of the earth. These four actors faced something similar, being on the rise in the industry with some pretty great films. However, their path to A-list stardom was stalled...

Bruce Willis & Megan Fox's Crime Thriller Flop Is A Streaming Hit On Netflix
Image
In 2021, producer Randall Emmett took a shot at directing his own gritty police drama with "Midnight in the Switchgrass," based on the real story of a Texas-based serial killer which stars Megan Fox, Emile Hirsch, and Bruce Willis. Not only would the film eventually be mired in controversy — Emmett was accused of following loosely in Harvey Weinstein's footsteps when it comes to running a "casting couch" for young actresses and was reportedly even abusive to an ailing Willis on set — but it was a huge flop when it released, which it only did in limited theaters and on video-on-demand. Still, according to FlixPatrol, it's now one of Netflix's most-watched films after just a handful of days on the platform.

So what is the movie about? Well, Willis plays an FBI agent named Karl Heller who, alongside his partner Rebecca Lombardo (Fox), are working to take down a sex-trafficking...

‘The Comeback Trail’ Review: Robert De Niro, Tommy Lee Jones and Morgan Freeman Have the Time of Their Lives in a Showbiz Sabotage Comedy
Image
Not unlike an attentive bird who spots a smidgen of sustenance in a pile of cattle dung, director George Gallo and co-scripter Josh Posner’s new comedy retrieves a viable comic premise in the deservedly obscure and irredeemably wretched 1982 comedy “The Comeback Trail.” Unfortunately, their hugely enjoyable remake, in name only, was stuck in distribution limbo for the better part of five years, despite a stellar cast that includes Oscar winners Robert De Niro, Tommy Lee Jones and Morgan Freeman. At long last, the movie recently received an extremely limited U.S. theatrical run and is now available on digital platforms.

Speaking as someone who viewed a screener of the new and improved “Comeback Trail” back in 2020, and has puzzled over why it remained more or less shelved ever since, I am happy to report after a second viewing that the indie production is every bit as funny as I...

'Midnight in the Switchgrass' Starring Bruce Willis & Megan Fox is Streaming on Netflix
Image
Bruce Willis’ final years before his retirement became synonymous with direct-to-video action thrillers, over 20 of them to be precise. Many of them passed without making a ripple, and as they were released before the actor’s medical issues were known to the world, most of them were slammed by critics and dismissed out of hand. One of them was Midnight in the Switchgrass, in which Willis appeared with Megan Fox and Emile Hirsch. Now the movie is finally getting some unexpected attention after jumping into the Netflix Top 10.

Directed by Randall Emmett in his feature debut, Midnight in the Switchgrass follows two FBI agents, played by Willis and Megan Fox, on the hunt for a serial killer in Florida. The investigation leads them to a troubled local cop (Hirsch) who has been chasing the same elusive murderer. Loosely inspired by real-life events, the film’s premise had potential, but for...

From real to reel: 7 must-watch movies based on true docs
Image
When reality is stranger than fiction, Hollywood takes notice - these films prove it.

I caught “Last Breath” in theaters this weekend, and wow - what a ride. Beautifully shot, intense, and suspenseful - and incredibly, it’s all based on a true story. It follows a deep-sea diver who gets stranded 300 feet below the ocean with only minutes of air left… and the rescue mission to try and save his life. After the movie, I got to thinking about other great scripted movies that have associated documentaries. There are some incredible films out there that take real-life stories and turn them into gripping, cinematic experiences. So, here are my top 7 favorite scripted movies inspired by true-story documentaries.

Dead Moneyarrived in 2024 with very little fanfare and flew under the radar with many people. The 2024 poker-based thriller was panned by critics on its limited theatrical and VOD release, which meant that many audiences either ignored it, or slept on it thanks to the lackluster response and its lack of big A-lister star names.
