The Terminal List is getting some serious reinforcements for Season 2. Deadline has reported that Edwin Hodge and Caitlin Bassett (Quantum Leap) have been cast in recurring guest roles in the hit Prime Video action thriller led by Chris Pratt. The casting marks a reunion for Hodge and Pratt, who previously starred together in 2021’s sci-fi blockbuster The Tomorrow War, and now, the two are going from fighting aliens to hunting conspirators in The Terminal List’s grounded and gritty world of covert military ops.
Created by David Digilio and based on the bestselling novels by Jack Carr, The Terminal List follows Navy Seal James Reece (Pratt), who uncovers a deadly conspiracy after his platoon is ambushed during a high-risk mission. Season 1, based on Carr’s debut novel, was a pulse-pounding dive into Reece’s descent into vengeance and justice. Season 2 adapts True Believer, and brings new allies—and enemies—into the fold.

Kendra Saunders’ version of DC’s iconic winged warrior superhero, Hawkgirl, appears in Superman as a member of Maxwell Lord’s private superhero team, Justice Gang. Compared to the rest of her teammates, Hawkgirl has the least amount of screentime, yet her actions in the climactic moments of the movie might prove to be extremely significant for human and Metahuman relations in the Dcu’s future. Before getting into that, let us know about Kendra a bit more from both her comics and Dcu origin, as the movie doesn’t really address her background—and there is a reason for that.

With 16 reviews counted at the time of writing, We Were Liars is currently "fresh" at 75% on Rotten Tomatoes. Additionally, the review aggregator website lists a 76% audience approval rating. It's not often that audiences and critics agree on a show (or movie), so this is a good sign that We Were Liars, based on the best-selling novel of the same name by E. The series follows "Cadence Sinclair Eastman and her tight-knit inner circle, nicknamed ‘the Liars,’ during their summer escapades vacationing on their grandfather’s New England private island. Alex Cross, bestselling author James Patterson’s most famous character, had previously been played on screen by Morgan Freeman and Tyler Perry. But when it came time to cast a new version of the brilliant detective for Cross, Prime Video's series based on the character, creator Ben Watkins only had one man in mind: Aldis Hodge. And after the first season, which debuted at No. 1 on Nielsen's streaming ratings chart in November, it's hard to imagine anyone else in the role. Hodge's performance is the perfect combination of cerebral and physical, swaggering and sensitive, and tough and gentle that the role requires. Hodge makes it his own, which he did by not considering earlier incarnations of the character.
"I think every actor has to maintain independent individuality when they approach any character, right? That's the artist's process," Hodge tells Gold Derby. "So I just thought about the honest foundation of his desires,...

Back during Leverage‘s original run on TNT, its third season villain was financial mastermind Damien Moreau (Goran Visnjic). What the others didn’t know until they’d actually encountered him was that their hitter, Eliot Spencer (Christian Kane), once worked for him. In “The Big Bang Job,” which aired in 2010, Eliot explained to the others — mastermind Nate Ford (Timothy Hutton), grifter Sophie Devereaux (Gina Bellman), thief Parker (Beth Riesgraf), and hacker Alec Hardison (Aldis Hodge) — that he’d been trying to protect them, which he saw as his job. Though Nate thought they could handle Moreau, Eliot disagreed. “We’re out of our league, Nate. Every one of Moreau’s men has innocent blood on their hands. Every one of them. Every one of them are worse than me. You think you know what I’ve done? The worst thing I ever did in my entire life, I did for Damien Moreau.

As Leverage: Redemption gets closer to the end of season 3, the Leverage team is taking on an unusual case, and ScreenRant has an exclusive clip from this week's episode, Leverage: Redemption season 3, episode 9, “The Polygeist Job,” to prove it. The revival series has done an excellent job of maintaining the tone of the original while updating its stories for today’s audiences, and it does it again here. “The Polygeist Job” will take the format of a traditional Leverage episode, but it does so with the inclusion of a modern romantic idea: the polycule.
Leverage: Redemption season 3, episode 9, “The Polygeist Job,” sees the team go up against a technology guru who is claiming to use their company's work to make the world a better place. The Leverage team goes after the tech company’s executives by pulling a “cabin in the woods” job, but finds the group is even closer than they initially thought.

Prime Video’s crime thriller Cross is a dark and gritty series that delves into Washington D.C.’s criminal underbelly, led by the titular forensic psychologist and homicide D.C. Metro detective played by Aldis Hodge. But once you meet Hodge and Isaiah Mustafa, who plays Detective John Sampson, Cross’ partner in the series, you wouldn’t believe the pair ever shared a serious moment since meeting on the project.
Hodge and Mustafa were joined by director Nzingha Stewart at the Deadline Studio at Prime Experience, where they joked about everything from tequila, Mustafa’s former gig starring in Old Spice ads, and Hodge’s aging knees.
The photos in the gallery below highlight the strong connections made thanks to their work on the series created by Ben Watkins.
Check out the Cross trio’s conversation in the video, and scroll down for the photos.
“Whenever you do a pilot, the one thing that a director does not know until day one is, ‘What’s the chemistry going to be like?’ Sometimes it feels really cold and separate, but right away from the first scene, [Hodge and Mustafa] have that chemistry,” said Stewart, who directed the first two episodes of Cross and served as executive producer.
She continued, “Ben writes beautiful dialogue, but [Hodge and Mustafa] always add little pluses to it. I remember the scene where Aldis said, [Mustafa] smelled like Old Spice, and it was great. It made me laugh out loud. I ruined so many takes and had to go again because I laughed out loud at something they said.”
“Are we really going there, you guys?” asked Mustafa, pretending to use a stern voice while laughing.
“Yeah, we’re going there, bro,” joked Hodge, who also produced Cross.
Mustafa replied while pointing at Hodge, “I’m older than him in real life, but he treats me like a little brother.”

Hodge and Mustafa’s instant bond also helped make the many action scenes work flawlessly. They admit they declined to use stunt doubles; the work is heavily dependent on the trust forged between the two actors.
Hodge also highlighted his appreciation for the show having the perfect amount of fight scenes.
“The action scenes, everything is choreographed. The thing that I like about it is that it’s all tasteful, and it drives the narrative, tone, and style. Nothing feels egregious, it still keeps that sense of suspense and that sense of excitement because you don’t know exactly what they’re getting into, how they’re going to get out of it,” Hodge said.
He also spoke to the important role Stewart played in molding the series.
“There’s a tonal thing that happens, which I want to speak to on a few fronts. That relationship that [Cross and Sampson] have, Ben always intended that to be a big part of the heart of the show. With Nzingha, being the first director, it’s a bigger job for the overall show because you have to set the tone and basically the blueprint for what the show will look like in terms of our color palette. That’s Nzingha.
He added, “It’s those first two episodes that create the rules for how everything else flows. We got really lucky to work with her in that space and in that capacity.”...

Alan Ritchson might be the current face (and bulk) of Reacher, but streaming audiences still haven’t let go of Tom Cruise's take on Lee Child’s no-nonsense hero. Nearly a decade after its theatrical release, Jack Reacher: Never Go Backhas muscled its way into the Prime Video Top 10 in the U.S., landing at #9 according to FlixPatrol.
It’s a surprising rebound for a sequel that never quite got its flowers. Never Go Back, directed by Edward Zwick (Blood Diamond), sees Cruise’s Reacher dragged back into the military fold — only to be accused of a 16-year-old murder and forced to unravel a vast conspiracy. It also pairs him with Cobie Smulders, who plays Major Susan Turner, and features Aldis Hodge and Danika Yarosh in supporting roles.

James Patterson and Amazon MGM Studios might just be one another’s match made in heaven. Today, Deadline announced that the author has paired with the studio for another project, with the duo’s series, Cross, now in the rearview. The company struck a deal with Patterson and his co-scribe, Duane Swierczynski, to bring their upcoming book Billion-Dollar Ransom to feature-length form. Joining the efforts to adapt the book will be Academy Award-winning writer Stephen Gaghan, who, in the past, has penned favorites like Rules of Engagement and Traffic.
At this time, no casting has been announced, but A-list stars like Morgan Freeman, Ashley Judd, and Aldis Hodge have joined Patterson-centered productions in the past, so it’s likely the film will load up on star power. As for the plot, we can get an idea of the story set to unfold through the book, which is set to hit...

Noah Wyle has dished on a major ER moment that didn’t even take place on the show. The first season of Friends aired in 1994 and ran until May 18, 1995, but the show featured a couple of ground-shattering cameos in one episode that had everyone talking. In the second part of the only two-part outing in Season 1, titled “The One With Two Parts, Part 2,” Wyle shows up with his ER co-star George Clooney to visit Rachel (Jennifer Aniston) and Monica (Courteney Cox) in the hospital. During a recent interview with Entertainment Weekly, Wyle spoke about this cameo with his ER co-star – mind you, they technically don’t play the same characters in Friends as they do in ER – and how they decided it was the right decision for them to show up:
“It was all very social and collegiate. We all auditioned for the same stuff. And then we got on...

[Warning: The below contains Major spoilers for the Leverage: Redemption Season 3 premiere, “The Weekend in Paris Job.”] If you ask hitter Eliot Spencer (Christian Kane), the hits he takes is just part of the job, as he says in the Leverage: Redemption Season 3 premiere. The season begins with the crew — Eliot, grifter Sophie Devereaux (Gina Bellman), thief Parker (Beth Riesgraf), and hacker Alec Hardison (Aldis Hodge) — mid-con in France when they have to flee. In the process, Eliot’s arm is slashed with a knife. Then, while trying to lie low, they end up in the middle of another con, and Parker suggests that Hardison, feeling like he’s not sure about how they crime anymore, give Eliot’s usual role a try, especially since the hitter’s lost a lot of blood and his left arm isn’t working. Parker even cuffs Eliot to a table, but he ends up freeing himself to help Hardison fight a guard.

When it came to adapting and reinventing novelist James Patterson’s beloved Alex Cross for television, Cross showrunner and executive producer Ben Watkins and star/producer Aldis Hodge agreed that the literary character’s already rich world little explored onscreen would be best enhanced by layering in a more complex, of-the-moment and occasionally fraught relationship with race and the criminal justice system, befitting a Black detective.
“I was actually approached about this project and my first instinct was to pass, because I knew it had been done as movies,” said Watkins, who created the Amazon Prime Video series in the wake of various films featuring Morgan Freeman and Tyler Perry as Cross, during the show’s panel at the Deadline Contenders Television event. “And really, as much as I’m a crime junkie – growing up, I read a lot of books, detective novels, thrillers, but I hadn’t actually made it into the Cross series,...

Aldis Hodge Black Adam(Photo Credit –Instagram)
It just didn’t get any better for Aldis Hodge, because he had no clue Henry Cavill was suiting up in Black Adam until the last possible moment. Imagine being in a movie and not knowing its biggest surprise. That’s exactly what happened to the Black Adam star, who played Hawkman in the DC flick.
Hodge only found out about Superman’s cameo “pretty close to the premiere.” That’s right. While fans had been speculating for months, the actor had zero idea the Man of Steel was making a grand return. “They kept that all the way under wraps, and I didn’t know until maybe a day or two before the premiere,” he revealed in an interview with THR. “So they kept it that close.”
That level of secrecy was next-level. Not even a whisper on set. No subtle nods from The Rock.

On May 14 of last year, Amazon MGM Studios chief Jennifer Salke took the stage at Pier 36 in New York City, looking to convince advertisers that Amazon was playing to win in Hollywood.
“Welcome to the next hundred years of Amazon MGM Studios,” Salke said to those gathered in the cavernous event space, which also featured piles of cash guarded by besuited security guards to promote Mr. Beast’s Beast Games, and a Road House cabana bar.
What followed was a cavalcade of stars, meant to underscore that Amazon was committed to the business. Will Ferrell, Roger Federer, Jake Gyllenhaal, Aldis Hodge, Alicia Keys, Patton Oswalt, Keke Palmer, Alan Ritchson, Octavia Spencer, Hannah Waddingham and Reese Witherspoon were among those that joined Salke on the stage.
In the entertainment business, of course, commitment is never permanent. Salke successfully sold Amazon’s ambitions to Madison Avenue, but less than a year later Amazon executive Mike Hopkins,...

Captain America: Brave New World Worldwide Box Office: To Beat Black Adam(Photo Credit –Facebook/Prime Video)
The MCU movie Captain America: Brave New World is reaping the benefits of Snow White’s mediocre welcome at the box office in North America. This is, in turn, helping it surpass Black Adam’s worldwide haul. It is not the brightest star in the MCU but is still trying to earn some profit until it is in the theatres. Keep scrolling for the deets.
Captain America 4 was expected to suffer after the release of Snow White, but due to the mixed word-of-mouth, the MCU movie has less to worry about. Although Anthony Mackie has been lauded for taking up the mantle of Cap after Chris Evans’ Steve Rogers, the film’s shallow narration is hampering the collections. The film introduced a few new characters, and it will be interesting to see...
