Jimmy Hodson is a voiceover actor and television host, as well as a director/editor.
Jim co-created and co-hosted the seminal music video show Real Videos in 1984 which went on to run for over 25 years. He also co-created the music video series Videosyncrasy on the Family Channel (1990-1991), which he also hosted.
Since then he was the announcer on Magic Johnson's late night FOX talk show and announced thousands of episodes of Divorce Court from 1999 through 2011, and has been the voice of Fox Major League Baseball, Fox Soccer Channel, and has been the voice of In-Out Burger since 1989.
He has voiced thousands of TV & radio spots, promos, trailers, documentaries, TV series & specials, corporate videos and video games, and now mostly works from his state of the art home recording studio in the Los Angeles area.
He is married to Sonya Dunn Hodson a former producer at E! Entertainment Television and executive on the long running CBS hit Touched by an Angel. They have two children together, a son Jonathan, and a daughter Hayley who was the number one volleyball recruit in the US, and player for USA Youth National Team, USA Junior National Team, USA Women's National Team, and was NCAA National Freshman of the Year for Stanford University in 2015 before concussions ended her Olympic-bound career.
Jim has 28 teeth, invented Bitcoin, holds the tricycle land-speed record, and is represented by DPN Talent in Beverly Hills, CA
