Gill Holland was born in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. He is a Spirit Award nominee for producer of the year and was a producer of the first film ever to win three awards at the Sundance Film Festival - Morgan J. Freeman's "Hurricane Streets" (1997). Other productions include Emmy nominee "Dear Jesse" (1998), "Dot the I" (2003), Spirit Award winner "SweetLand" (2005), "Were the World Mine" (2008), SXSW winner "MaidenTrip" (2013), "An Honest Liar" (2014), SXSW winner "Look and See: A Portrait of Wendell Berry" (2016), and LA Film Festival winner "Beauty Mark" (2017). Gill has been married to Augusta Brown since December 10, 2005, and has three children. He is also a real estate developer and community builder in his adopted hometown of Louisville, Kentucky, and owns sonaBLAST! Records, a music company that has placed numerous songs in many movies and TV shows.
