Adrian Holmes is a celebrated actor with over 100 film and television credits. In 2024, he won the NAACP Image Award for Outstanding Supporting Actor for his portrayal of Philip Banks in Peacock's Bel-Air, the critically acclaimed re-imagining of The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air. Holmes is also widely recognized for his standout performances in Star Trek: Strange New Worlds, Bravo's 19-2-for which he earned a Canadian Screen Award-Netflix's V Wars, and the CW's Arrow. His feature film work includes roles in Skyscraper opposite Dwayne Johnson and Elysium alongside Matt Damon.
Born in Wrexham, North Wales, and raised in and around Vancouver, British Columbia, with roots in Barbados, Holmes brings a global perspective and grounded authenticity to every role. He discovered his passion for acting through the theatre, performing in elementary and high school plays, and then went on to refine his craft working with renowned coaches, including Larry Moss and Ivana Chubbuck.
When not on set, he enjoys traveling and playing golf. He currently resides in Los Angeles, California, with his wife, actress Caroline Chikezie.
