The Devil Wears Prada 2: Everything We Know So Far
Image
It's official: "The Devil Wears Prada," the beloved fashion comedy that first came out in 2006, is getting a sequel. So what do we need to know?

I'll be honest and say that, as of this writing, the details about this sequel are somewhat vague. The original was based on Lauren Weisberger's 2003 novel of the same name, which the author says was itself based on her own personal experiences working underneath magazine maven Anna Wintour at Vogue. In 2013, Weisberger released a sequel titled "Revenge Wears Prada: The Devil Returns," which sees the book's version of Andrea "Andy" Sachs reunite with Miranda Priestly years after working as her second assistant at the fictional publication Runway. What we do know about "The Devil Wears Prada 2," though, is that it's not set to follow the same plot as Weisberger's literary sequel.

It's not entirely surprising that we're getting a second "The Devil Wears Prada" film,...

High Potential: There Are Cops, and Then There Is Detective Karadec Captivating Us with His Signature Sizzling Smolder
Image
When it comes to police procedurals, there’s an unwritten rule that you need at least one tall drink of water who spends his time brooding and taking everything too seriously.

For ABC‘s High Potential, that character is none other than the smoldering and mysteriously sexy Detective Karadec in all his strong-jaw glory.

Sure, Morgan may be the main character of the series, but even with that big brain of hers, she can hardly do it all on her own.

(Disney/Pamela Littky)

The worth of any show is found in the sum of its parts, and High Potential is made up of a quality cast of characters that never stop delivering intense drama and perfectly timed comedy.

Since the start of the series, Karadec has been beside Morgan for most of her scenes. Between the two characters, they just about set the tone and pace of every episode.

Where you know the High Potential cast from: Hacks, SNL, Scrubs, Batwoman and more!
Image
High Potential is making its debut on ABC. The new procedural, which flits between comedy and drama, stars Kaitlin Olson as a genius who gets hired as a police consultant after she makes a break in a case that changes the tide of the investigation. Her decision to highlight what they'd missed takes her from cleaning the precinct to helping to solve crimes with Det. Karadec who is definitely not as free spirited as Morgan nor would he bring children to a crime scene but, hey, Morgan is a single mother with three kids, where she goes they go if that's what has to happen.

The show's cast is filled with more than one familiar face. If the name of one of the main and recurring actors is on the tip of your tongue or you're trying to remember what you've seen them in, we've got you covered. Below you'll...

Image
Prince Harry and Meghan, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, have made key new hires and promotions at their umbrella company Archewell.

Entering its third year, the audio, philanthropic and content production operation continues to grow. In audio, Serena Regan has been named head of podcasts. Hired at the end of 2022, Regan will now lead all development in that portfolio. “Archetypes,” the vertical’s debut project, was released last year and marked Archewell’s first hit. An interview series about harmful labels that hold women back, the Meghan-hosted series topped Spotify charts in 47 countries. A second season has not formally been announced but is well expected.

Joining The Archewell Foundation, the couple’s philanthropic arm, is Shauna Nep. "Harry & Meghan" Features New Allegations Against Staffer Jason Knauf
Image
Image Source: Getty / Max Mumby/Indigo

Netflix's "Harry & Meghan" docuseries, which premiered its first three episodes on Dec. 8 and final three on Dec. 15, have shed light on royal drama, unveiled the true cruelty of the media, and outlined key players behind palace doors. Chief among them is Jason Knauf - a name that may sound familiar, even if a title doesn't immediately come to mind. But whether you know him or not, 38-year-old Knauf, who became the communications secretary to the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and the Duke and Duchess of Sussex back in 2015, has played a big role in the royals' lives.

As James Holt, executive director of the Archewell Foundation and former palace spokesman, explains in the third episode of the docuseries, "For every duke and duchess, there is also a communication team. Comms for the royal family is very similar to a press office,...

‘Harry & Meghan’ Series Suggests Brexit Whipped-Up Racial Hatred Towards Meghan Markle
Image
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s Netflix documentary has drawn a direct link between Britain’s decision to leave the EU and alleged racism experienced by the Duchess of Sussex.

Co-produced by the couple’s Archewell Productions, the second episode wades into the Brexit debate, which remains a divisive topic in the UK six years after the 2016 vote.

It is highly unusual for British royals to broach politically sensitive issues in public, but Prince Harry and Markle have been more vocal since leaving the family and relocating to America.

Harry & Meghan preludes a section about Brexit by showing a young girl telling a CNN journalist that she hopes Markle’s relationship with Prince Harry, which began just weeks after the EU referendum, will help temper racism in the UK.

David Olusoga, the renowned British historian and diversity campaigner, later remarks: “This fairy tale is embedding itself in a nation that...

Anne Hathaway Disagrees That Nate Is the Villain in "The Devil Wears Prada"
Image

Anne Hathaway has us pursing our lips like Miranda Priestly after a recent "Watch What Happens Live" interview with Andy Cohen about the true villain of "The Devil Wears Prada": Andy Sachs's boyfriend, Nate Cooper (Adrian Grenier). Seasoned fans of the cult classic film will know that no ounce of Miranda's icy personality and - some might even say admirable - candor hold a candle to Nate's egocentric attitude. But Hathaway slapped the 5 grilled cheese right out of our hands when she revealed she disagrees that Nate is the villain all along.

"I wouldn't want to be defined by my worst moment in my 20s, certainly. So I don't hold Nate as a villain, actually."

"No, I'm sorry. I don't [think he was the villain]," she said when two fans called in to ask her opinion of Andy's boyfriend. "I think that they were both very young and figuring things out,...
