It is the latest blow for 37-year-old magazine format show “This Morning,” which has suffered a series of controversies over the past 24 months after its long running anchors, Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby, stepped down in quick succession.

Frizell is the show’s longest-running editor, having joined ITV in 2014 as the editor of fellow daytime show “Loose Women.” He is set to step down next spring. His successor has not yet been announced.

Cat Deeley, longtime presenter of So You Think You Can Dance, has revealed details of her experience being caught up in a Los Angeles shopping mall shooting scare that made her want to leave her home in Hollywood and return to live in the UK.

The Sun newspaper reports that Deeley, about to take over hosting duties on ITV flagship daytime show This Morning, wanted to move away from the US after her family were caught in a shopping mall shooting in 2019.

The 71-year-old admitted that she lost 42 pounds with the help of the diabetes drug Ozempic, also known as Wegovy.

The drug is used to make its users feel full, tricking the brain. Its users often experience nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, diarrhea and constipation.

“I started using it in November last year. I was 142 pounds when I started using it. For the first two or three weeks, I felt very nauseous,” Osbourne shared with Woman magazine.

In another interview with Piers Morgan, Osbourne said that with the drug, “you get very thirsty, and you don’t eat.”

The RuPaul’s Drag Race UK judge is hosting Picture Slam from Ben Shephard and Ed De Burgh’s Triple Brew Media and Omg Scotland.

Teams will be presented with a board full of images that they need to correctly identify against the clock. If they clear a full board with correct answers for a ‘Picture Slam’ they’ll receive a cash bonus. The Masked Singer UK is back for a fourth season, welcoming a new cast of 12 incognito celebrities.

On Sunday (1 January), the top-secret singing series, which sees a number of celebrities dressed in oversized costumes to hide their identity, returned to ITV.

During the opening episode, Cat and Mouse, a duo act, were among the first batch of competitors to perform for the judges by Irving Berlin.

The clues revealed in the first episode included the number 200,000,000 written on a notepad.

Cat said he was “no stranger to legalities” and liked to “get to the bottom of cases”, as well as knowing “how to spin a tale”. The Vt also showed five different jars of spices lined up.

So far, fans have speculated that the duo could be Spice Girl Emma Bunton and partner Jade Jones. Others have their suspicions that the furry duo are married couple Shirlie and Martin Kemp.

Good Morning Britain is welcoming a new host this week, with broadcaster Gordon Smart joining the show this Thursday (29 December).

Smart, 42, is one of a roster of presenters who are taking over hosting duties while regulars Kate Garraway, Ben Shephard and Susanna Reid are having time off over Christmas.

The journalist, editor and broadcaster will present alongside Charlotte Hawkins on Thursday 29 and Friday 30 December.

“I’m thrilled to be joining the amazing stable of talent, in front and behind the camera, on Good Morning Britain,” he said.

“So many of the issues facing the country right now are close to home and I’m relishing the chance to join the debate.”

Smart’s background includes being the youngest editor of The Sun’s Bizarre Showbiz column, when he was 26. He later edited The Scottish Sun and was deputy editor at the National Edition in 2016.

Susanna Reid laughed as she tried to “clean up” an Nsfw interview on Good Morning Britain.

Reid was joined by co-host Ben Shephard on Thursday morning’s (8 December) episode of Gmb on ITV.

The pair were speaking with Italian celebrity chef Gino D’Acampo who was promoting his new cooking show Gino’s Cooking Up Love.

Conversation, however, took a turn when D’Acampo recalled that he once met a “blonde girl with huge… personality”.

The interview featured other sexual innuendos and references as the chef went on to say: “All I was thinking is, ‘Am I going to get laid?’”

“Are we allowed to say that?” asked D’Acampo, leaving Madeley and Reid fumbling for words.

Reid laughed as she said that she was trying to “clean up” the interview.

David Dimbleby condemned the “chaos” engulfing Liz Truss’s Conservative government during an appearance on Good Morning Britain on Thursday (6 October).

The veteran broadcaster was interviewed following the Tory party’s annual conference, held in Birmingham earlier this week.

Truss came to the conference amid widespread divisions within the party, exacerbated by the publication of a “mini-budget” last month that left the economy in crisis.

Speaking to Gmb hosts Ben Shephard and Kate Garraway, Dimbleby said: “It’s chaotic isn’t it. I’ve never seen quite such chaos.

“It’s not just the chaos of a party that’s clearly disintegrating before our eyes in the Conservative Party. It’s riven with disagreement. What was going on in Birmingham... unbelievable.”

Mel B made a dig at Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield over accusations that they jumped the queue to pay their respects to Queen Elizabeth II.

While being interviewed onGood Morning Britain about her MBE with show hosts Susanna Reid and Ben Shephard, Mel B brought up how Reid had queued for seven hours to see the Queen’s coffin.

“I have so much respect for you” the former Spice Girl said.

“It felt like a pilgrimage. It was an honour to be with all the other people in the queue,” Reid replied.

Susanna Reid paid tribute to Queen Elizabeth II at the start of the latest episode of Good Morning Britain.

The host does not usually presenting Friday’s edition of the show, but broke routine in honour of the Queen, who died peacefully on Thursday (8 September).

Clearly affected by the news, Reid, who was dressed in black, praised the Queen as “dignified” and “dutiful”, calling her death “quite a moment”.

Ninja Warrior UK is returning to ITV after three years off air with an updated format in which ordinary contestants face off against “Ninjas” and there will be both a male and female winner.

The show’s sixth season from ITV Studios label Potato will enter production in May, seeking two champions for the format based on 25-year-old Japanese show Sasuke in which ordinary people are challenged on an almost impossible assault course that has only ever been fully conquered by one UK person.

Ben Shephard, Chris Kamara and Rochelle Humes will continue to host the eight-parter after a three-year hiatus, having helmed the show since 2015, and the new format will see the ordinary people go up against “Ninjas,” a team of professional warrior athletes. Physical obstacle course game show Ninja Warrior U.K. is returning to U.K. broadcaster ITV and streamer ITV Hub for a sixth season.

Updated Monday, 6:35 P.M. Two days after announcing that he was temporarily stepping back from his duties on ITV’s flagship morning show, Good Morning Britain host Piers Morgan has revealed that he tested negative for Covid-19.

Morgan said on Saturday that he was experiencing a “mild” Covid-like symptom, but today posted to Twitter that his test was negative. He said he took the test on the advice of his doctor and would “be back on @Gmb as soon as my doctor advises I’m Ok to return to work.”

Morgan added that he was entitled to take a test because he is considered “a Govt-designated essential worker.”
