Movie Review: 'The Man in the Maze'; Cast: Andrew Roth, Liana Werner-Gray, Erik A. Williams, Stephanie Long Lomenick; Director: Mitesh Kumar Patel; Rating: 1/2 * - is amateurish, lifeless.
There are some films which are so inconsistent in every department that it becomes a masterpiece of an example to show aspiring filmmakers exactly what not to do. 'The Man in the Maze' is a film which reaches excellence in that department.
Three friends camping in the woods are assaulted by a stranger wearing bandages on his face. The fourth friend escapes and manages to sneak up on the masked man and.

15 Till Midnight The people behind 15 Till Midnight have unleashed a new trailer (seen below, after the jump) for public viewing consumption on Youtube. 15 Till Midnight, which was one of the most entertaining sci-fi offerings of 2010, follows a man (Brandon Slagle) whose wife (Andrea Chen) has seemingly disappeared into thin air. He finds himself being monitored by a secret society policing phenomena into parallel worlds colliding with one another and a far reaching conspiracy.
Directed by Wolfgang Meyer (Song of the Shattered), 15 Till Midnight features a trio of memorable performances. Devanny Pinn (Piranha) turns in a tour de force performance. Andrew Roth You know that there is those type of actors that have a funny way of just owning the frame of whatever film it is that they are starring in, no matter what type of role it is. ...Well up and coming indie actor of horror and sci-fi films, Andrew Roth, is one of those such actors. With 15 Till Midnight, he managed to turn in scene stealing work despite a limited amount of screen time and working with such indie horror heavyweights as Devanny Pinn (Piranha) & Brandon Slagle (Polycarp aka Kinky Killers) and potential breakout actress Andrea Chen. 15 Till Midnight offered up Andrew Roth a unique chance to bring a dimensionality, a vulnerability to a role that could have came off as a one note, strictly cliched villain. In the process his dynamic work helped take 15 Till Midnight to the next level. He's also been making waves with some...

The Man in the Maze is an independent film that was shot in Alabama, Georgia and Washington State by Applied Art Productions.
The film recently secured distribution for two territories, including North America. The film itself is of Native American folklore. You really do not want to mess with ancient curses. Yet, several hikers do just that and soon, they find themselves trapped within an unending maze.
Watch the trailer for the film below and prepare for several twenty-somethings to learn about indigenous culture, the hard way!
The synopsis for The Man in the Maze:
"The Man in the Maze centers around four college students on a field trip to learn more about the North American Indian Trail of Tears. While hiking through the woods, however, they stumble upon an Native American burial mound. The site marks the burial spot of a Native American family who died on the trail.

A bit earnest. A bit cocky. Fully confident. Brandon Slagle (Vivid, 15 Till Midnight, Cut, Plasterhead) is the brooding bad boy of independent horror and science fiction films who was just recently deemed one of the potential breakout genre stars in the making on our site. And we fully stand behind that statement. Brandon Slagle's undeniable screen presence is fully evident in just about everything he has done. So what is it, that is making him stand out now over years past? Well, you see, with Brandon Slagle the earnestness, the confidence, the appreciation for science fiction and horror, the human aspect in universal truths and / or emotions & the ability to relate that to audiences, it's all finally coming together with his work. Indie director Stolis Hadjicharalambous gave us the heads-up that a new trailer for his gory action-thriller Crossed recently went live on the movie’s MySpace page. You can check it out below.
Crossed was scripted by Christopher J. Otis, who stars as a young hitman dealing with the unsolved murder of his father (Jerry Murdock), while also tangling with other underworld figures, including an especially sadistic killer called The Ripper (Javier Rodriguez, who also produced). Fango caught an early screening of the movie and was duly impressed by the intense, brutal and frequent scenes of hand-to-hand combat and other carnage. The cast additionally includes Henry Boriello (who created the makeup FX), Talia Marrero, Andrew Roth, Ashley Bernardes, Keith Fraser and filmmaker Alan Rowe Kelly, for whom Hadjicharalambous has served as an editor; their frequent collaborator/Vindication director Bart Mastronardi was cinematographer.
