Remo Kuhlmann is an active composer for film and TV since 2022. Remo's music has been described as insistent, deep emotional and powerful. As a composer his goal is to tell a musical story and to give the film score its own character with sophisticated music and created sounds.
Remo created film scores for several short films like "Stiletto" (2023) which was selected for the Dutch Film Festival, "Coffee House" (2023) and the documentary "De Weg naar de Special Olympics" (2023) for the Dutch national television. Remo won the award for best original musical score in 2022 during a 48 hour film project in The Netherlands.
Besides being a film composer, Remo is active as a guitar player in the Dutch progressive rock band "Schizoid Lloyd". For their critically acclaimed debut album in 2014, he composed, arranged and recorded pieces for strings quartet and choir.
