Over 35 years in the entertainment industry and over fifteen years of filmmaking. Lyle spent the early part of his life as a music producer/ engineer. At age 13 he starting DJ on the Chicago and south suburban night scene. Lyle along with two friends started a rap group during his high school years, called TNT Posse. He Dj'ed and made beats on his Casio keyboard. They won 2nd place in the talent show. He attend the HBCU Souther University and mixed at the parties for the city clubs, Frats and sororities.
After college Lyle became a full fledged music producer/ engineer soon after he returned to Chicago after his H.B.C.U. college run at S.U. Lyle began his film career in 2003 by lending his sound studio to his filmmaking buddy and doing post production music, sound and sweetening for his movies.
Feeling as though the music industry was changing drastically, Lyle decided to return to college. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Audio Visual Media, and minored in Non Linear Editing from Columbia College Chicago.
Over the decades Lyle has sharpened his skills as he has produced, directed and edited hundreds of music videos, interviews, commercials, shorts, and documentaries. His feature film "Familiar Strangers" is streaming live now.
