Just when FBI fans thought we were in the clear when it came to cast shakeups, we’re seeing yet another new face who will be added to the cast. While we still don’t know whether Alana de la Garza’s character, Isobel, will survive her collapse from the season 7 finale, someone new is joining as another character.
TVLine reports that Emily Alabi, who joined season 7 as Stuart Scola’s (John Boyd) new partner, will be returning to the series, but only for an exit arc. At first, it did appear that she would be a good fit for the team, but now it seems the show is gearing up to try out yet another partner to join the team.
Actress Juliana Aidén Martinez, who had appeared on Law and Order: Svu, will now move on to FBI as a series regular for season 7. This will be the show...

Fans of Law & Order: Svu were devastated back when season 12 ended with the departure of actor Christopher Meloni, who played Olivia Benson’s partner, Elliott Stabler. While he ultimately returned later on after working on other projects, the exit did leave Mariska Hargitay shaken, as she recently revealed.
Hargitay, who recently did work on a documentary around her mother, Jayne Mansfield, appeared on the “Call Her Daddy” podcast and discussed her feelings at the time. She revealed she had tried to fix things, saying a negotiation is ultimately what caused Meloni to leave. Meloni had been a part of the show since its premiere in 1999 before he left in 2011.
“I was devastated," Hargitay said. "I was devastated. It happened very quickly, and it was surprising.”
She did discuss Meloni’s work and how he went on to do a great job with his career in the meantime.

Eric Kripke has been able to get away with a lot during his time as the showrunner of The Boys. Turning the raucous comics first penned by Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson into series form was no small undertaking, but it’s something that Kripke fought hard for the chance to do. Along the way, he learned that he had to pick his battles with the title’s home studio of Amazon MGM, earning their trust as the series progressed. During an episode of Sony’s Creator to Creator, in which he appeared opposite Shawn Ryan, the show’s creator looked back on a time when something the studio axed ended up getting used down the road.
Pointing to the original idea for the Season 1 finale, Kripke said,
“This’ll sound silly, but it ended up being a really iconic moment in The Boys in Season 1. We shot Homelander – Antony Starr...

FBI: Most Wanted first hit screens in 2020 as the first spin-off of Dick Wolf’s hit series FBI. It was created by René Balcer and followed the story of the FBI’s Fugitive Task Force as they tracked down America’s most dangerous criminals. Apart from the interesting storyline, the show also featured a stunning cast, including Julian McMahon, Kellan Lutz, Roxy Sternberg, and Shantel VanSanten, among others.
Over six seasons, FBI: Most Wanted managed to build a loyal fanbase with its high-stakes action and emotional depth. So, because of this, fans were sure that a Season 7 would also be on the horizon.
However, things took a turn for the worse when CBS announced in March 2025 that the seventh season was canceled. So, why did the network cancel a well-performing show? Let’s dive into the real reasons behind its end.

Fans of Kathy Bates’s Matlock series, as well as FBI: Most Wanted, may get to see a familiar face crop up on the series. FBI: Most Wanted recently finished its run on CBS, leaving the actors involved open for other projects.
One of these actors is Edwin Hodge, who played Special Agent Ray Cannon from season 4 until the show’s finale in season 6. Before the series ended, he told a fellow agent, Nina Chase (Shantel VanSanten), that he and his wife were expecting a baby together. This was a nice way to cap off Hodge’s time with the series, and another series is already looking to sweep him up.
In response to a question from TVLine, showrunner Jennie Snyder Urman discussed wanting to cast two guest stars who are familiar to two of the stars of the series, Jason Ritter and Skye P. Marshall.

Spoiler Alert !!!This article contains spoilers for FBI: Most Wanted series finale.
The FBI: Most Wanted has wrapped up after six successful seasons with its final episode on May 20. While the episode (and the series as well) rounded off the story nicely, it gave closure to only one of its primary characters.
Though the rest of the characters weren’t stranded in the middle per se, the conclusion they got still bears the potential for transitioning to another season. Unfortunately, for the fans, the show ran its course, as CBS canceled it in 2025 despite its relative popularity.
As a procedural drama, FBI: Most Wanted followed the criminal cases of the Fugitive Task Force as the agents waged wars against armed criminals.

As FBI: Most Wanted prepared to say goodbye following an untimely cancellation, the show started crafting endings for some of its characters. A lot of focus was given on Barnes' (Roxy Sternberg) next pursuits in the final episodes of the season. It was strongly insinuated that she would leave the Fugitive Task Force for a desk job so that she could be close to her children. However, in the series finale, it was revealed that she would take over the Fugitive Task Force following Remy Scott's (Dylan McDermott) retirement. It was a surprising development, but it was done to keep the character consistent. "After her divorce, the question for Barnes in Season 6 was, who am I?" showrunner David Hudgins told TV Insider after the show's final episode. "In the end, she decided that she could never do a desk job; she is happiest when being a ‘cop’ and taking bad guys off the street.

CBS may have canceled Dick Wolf's FBI spin-offs, including FBI: Most Wanted, but one of the series' showrunners has opened up on how things would have ended very differently if it got a seventh season. The show aired its final episode on May 20.
"We never got to the point of exploring stories for Season 7 because the cancellation news came so early, which gave us time to craft the series finale," showrunner David Hugdins shared with TV Insider. Thankfully, this allowed the writers and producers to give the series a fitting ending that saw Remy (Dylan McDermott) retiring and opening his own restaurant with Abby (Susan Misner). Barnes (Roxy Sternbeg) took over as team leader.
This definitely would not have been the case if FBI: Most Wanted were to continue airing, according to Hudgins. "Remy would have re-upped for...

After six pulsating seasons, the final ever episode of the first and favorite FBI spin-off, FBI: Most Wanted, aired last night, leaving fans with a tear in their eye and a hole in their viewing habits. Season 6, Episode 22, "The Circle Game," was a fitting ending to such a great procedural, with the Fugitive Task Force doing what they do best and tracking down a rogue government operative as a terrorist threat rises.
The finale was a tearjerking blast, wrapping up dramatic tension, such as the relationship between Nina Chase (Shantel VanSanten) and her father, and providing explosive action throughout. As the final moments of the series tick over, a celebratory party moves to Remy (Dylan McDermott) and Abby’s (Susan Misner) new restaurant, where Remy receives a surprise birthday treat, before delivering a surprise of his own as he announces his retirement, something teased throughout the second half of the season.

The 3D resurgence of the early aughts had Hollywood in a vice grip thanks to advances in technology, and, by 2009, horror began to embrace the format in a big way. That included the fourth installment of the Final Destination franchise, The Final Destination.
The success of Final Destination 3 meant a sequel was inevitable, this one planned for 3D. Final Destination 2 scribe Eric Bress and director David R. Ellis returned, with the latter taking the helm because of the 3D. The sequel makes full use of its 3D, incorporating requisite CGI jump scares of flying car parts and viscera leaping out of the screen, which, in turn, dates this entry more quickly than its counterparts.

It would be impressive if it weren't shocking how ingenious criminals can be. The team uncovers another twisted crime syndicate in the penultimate episode of FBI: Most Wanted. These criminals are targeting undocumented migrants while posing as Ice agents. Meanwhile, Remy (Dylan McDermott) confronts his own future after learning that Barnes (Roxy Sternberg) is considering taking a new job," the logline for FBI: Most Wanted Season 6, Episode 21, "Souls on Ice" teases. CBS released a sneak peek of the May 13 episode, previewing the twisted nature of the criminals and how the government might be contributing to it.
Given the current rhetoric surrounding undocumented migrants in the US under Donald Trump's administration, it opens up the group to violence and targeted crimes.

The casts of FBI: Most Wanted and FBI: International bid adieu as their respective canceled series wrapped filming.
While the CBS cancellations were announced in early March, leaving behind mothership series FBI — now in its seventh installment and renewed through the 2026-27 broadcast season — the spinoffs had yet to wrap production and finish filming, meaning they had time to adjust scripts to rework material into series finales.
Though Most Wanted will end after Season 6 and International was canceled after four seasons, the FBI universe is slated to get a new offshoot with the tentatively titled CIA, featuring Lucifer alum Tom Ellis. That offshoot, written by Dick Wolf and Most Wanted showrunner David Hudgins, follows two unlikely partners: a fast-talking, rule-breaking loose cannon CIA case officer (Ellis) and a by-the-book, seasoned and smart FBI agent who believes in the rule of law.

FBI: Most Wanted has come to the end of the line. Sure, the series will remain on the air until May 20, but the last day of April marked the last day of production for the popular FBI spinoff, and the actors were quick to commemorate the occasion via social media. Their posts ranged from celebratory and bittersweet to appreciative of the friends they made during the show's six years on CBS.
Shantel VanSanten commented on an FBI production account and noted that she's grateful for the experience of making Most Wanted. "Today marks the end of an era for an epic adventure as we film the last episode Ever of Most Wanted," she wrote. "I am so grateful to be here for this moment and celebrate a cast/crew that has brought you 100+ episodes of great TV!!" VanSanten also mentioned that she was "lucky" to have played Nina Chase for three seasons.

FBI: International and FBI: Most Wanted are coming to an end. As much as we hate the idea of it, especially with both of them ending, it doesn’t mean that all storylines have to wrap up. There are some characters that could turn up in FBI since that series will get to continue.
Not everyone can move across to the New York-based series. After all, the International team is currently based in Budapest, Hungary. That doesn’t stop some of them showing up now and then, and there are some people that are local enough to say hi and help out with a case or two. Here are six characters from the two FBI spin-offs that need to appear in the flagship series.

If you love horror, Final Destination isn’t just a movie—it’s a stress test for your imagination. Every object suddenly feels like a death trap. One minute, everything seems expected, and the next, someone is getting taken out by a freak accident so bizarre you’ll never look at everyday life the same way again.
Highways? Too risky. Roller coasters? Not unless a heart attack is desired. Airplane turbulence? Gripping the seat like it’s the last lifeline. Well, Death is back, and this time, it’s playing by new rules. Final Destination: Bloodlines is the sixth installment in the franchise, and it’s not just a reboot or another copy-paste sequel.
The creators have made it clear that this one will be distinct, switching up the formula that made the series famous. If you thought you knew how this franchise worked, think again—because this time, Death isn’t following the script.

FBI: Most Wanted has the unenviable task of closing out a show that has already been canceled. It's not ideal, of course, and character arcs have to be resolved in ways that wouldn't have been needed had the show been renewed for an additional season. But there is a silver lining, and it has to do with Sheryll Barnes (Roxy Sternberg).
Barnes has been part of the Most Wanted team since day one, but the latest episode, "Gut Job," has us wondering whether the agent has decided to move on to a new chapter of her life. She looked at an opening for Task Force Supervisor in Washington, DC, which had a submission deadline of April 11. The episode aired April 8, for context.

Some FBI fanatics have been clamoring for Nina Chase (Shantel VanSanten) to return to FBI ever since the heartbreaking news of FBI: Most Wanted’s cancellation.
I get why. Nina and Scola are one of the most solid couples in the FBI franchise, plus Scola can’t seem to find a permanent work partner.
But even though it sounds like a good idea on paper, Shantel VanSanten shouldn’t return to FBI as Nina.
(Mark Schafer/CBS) Nina’s Return to FBI Would Undo The Most Important Reason She Left
Nina and Scola prioritize their young son, which is one reason they work in separate units.
Granted, Nina was not one of TV’s best mothers when she first conceived Dougie.
She wasn’t going to even tell Scola that she was pregnant, and he had to fight to be part of the family rather than Nina raising Dougie entirely on her own.

Both the original "Invincible" Image Comics series (created by Robert Kirkman and Corey Walker, and with over a hundred of issues of art by Ryan Ottley) and the Amazon Prime Video TV series stand out among a crowded landscape of superheroes. Whether it's for their colorful characters or their unique perspective on the superhero genre, "Invincible" is worth paying attention to.
As subversive as "Invincible" can be, however, it still lends itself to the oldest comic shop arguments imaginable: Who would win? We've already ranked the strongest characters in "Invincible" overall, but getting more specific, we also wanted to look at the Viltrumites who dominate the series' power-rankings at large. In doing so, we found the strongest of the strong: the 10 most powerful Viltrumites in "Invincible."

Tink and her kids are visiting Nina and Scola, and the clip begins with them finishing up dinner. Spoilers for "Invincible" to follow.
"Invincible" has wrapped up its third and best season yet. The season 3 finale, "I Thought You'd Never Shut Up," was a high note to bow out on, adapting a story every fan of the original "Invincible" comic has been waiting for.
Back in season 2, the Viltrumite Anissa (Shantel VanSanten) warned Mark Grayson (Steven Yeun) if he didn't start conquering Earth, then someone much worse would come to test Invincible's name. Episode 7, "What Have I Done?" concludes with that someone else arriving — Conquest, the oldest of the Viltrumites and their second strongest warrior. That may not sound that impressive when there's less than 50 Viltrumites left, but Conquest lives up to Cecil's nickname for him: "Mr. 10 Times Worse."
Conquest debuted in "Invincible" issues #61-64; he's got the signature Viltrumite mustache, but he shows his age with a scar, a bad eye, crooked teeth, and a golden cybernetic arm.

The FBI franchise was launched in 2018 with the debut of the flagship police procedural television series FBI, which continues to thrive as a cop drama in its seventh season. Midway through the first season, CBS announced the development of the first spin-off series,FBI: Most Wanted, which premiered in January 2020. The secondspin-off series, FBI: International, premiered in September 2021. The addition of FBI: International led to the formation of a formidable three-hour ‘FBI Night’ block for CBS on the network’s Tuesday prime-time schedule.
Thefranchise reached its zenith in May 2022 when CBS renewed all three shows for two additional seasons. The first sign of distress for the franchise was evident in April 2024, when CBS renewed FBI for three additional seasons while Most Wanted and International were only renewed for one more season. The following month, CBS revealed its intention to cut the minimum episode guarantees for the regular cast members by two episodes.

CBS has sent two of Dick Wolf's popular procedural dramas to the chopping block in a surprise move as the network tries to make room in its schedule and slash costs. The high-profile cuts come from the FBIuniverse, with the network deciding to cancel two of its popular spinoffs.
Per Deadline, CBS has decided to cancel FBI spinoffs FBI: Most Wantedand FBI: International. The former has run the longest, at six seasons, while International has been a part of the network's lineup for four seasons. On the surface, it seems unclear why CBS has decided to ditch the two spinoffs, especially since both shows do pretty decently in linear viewership. The potential problem for both shows is that they aren't produced in-house and come from Universal Television, which can make renewal negotiations very tricky. CBS has had negotiations go down to the wire in recent years with NBCUniversal, particularly with the FBI franchise.

All season long, there were rumblings that one of the FBI spinoffs were destined for cancellation.
The negative buzz surrounding the fates of both FBI: International and FBI: Most Wanted were both right.
CBS said, “Hold my beer,” and swung the hatchet on both shows on Tuesday afternoon.

The unprecedented move means FBI: International and FBI: Most Wanted will conclude with their fourth and sixth seasons, respectively.
The only silver lining in this messy decision is that both series will likely get some form of closure.

CBS was skewered last season for canceling NCIS: Hawai’i after three seasons, despite robust ratings, ending the Vanessa Lachey drama on a doozy of a cliffhanger.
Speaking of ratings, both FBI: International and FBI: Most Wanted had decent numbers by broadcast TV standards.

Bad news has been revealed for fans of the FBI franchise. Not one, but two franchise shows have just been canceled, though hope remains for another spinoff series.
Per TV Line, FBI: Most Wanted and FBI: International have both been canceled by CBS. Neither show will be coming back for the 2025-26 season, putting an effective end to both shows after the end of their current seasons. FBI: Most Wanted is currently in production on its sixth season, while FBI: International is in production on Season 4. With both shows getting canceled at this point, there is time for the creative teams to prepare for having the season finales now serve as series finales without ending on major cliffhangers.

The TV procedural world was upended on Tuesday (March 4) afternoon when the news came down that not one but two fan favorites would be given the sudden kibosh by their network. Both FBI spinoffs FBI: International and FBI: Most Wanted were suddenly canceled by CBS after four and six seasons, respectively. Per Deadline, the news came after “difficult” negotiations with the Dick Wolf shows’ production company, Universal Television, and the in-the-works spinoff FBI: CIA is still in development. (Also unclear? Whether FBI-to-Most Wanted transplant Shantel VanSanten will return to the main show after the cancellation.) Fans reacted to the news with immediate shock on social media: “That really sucks those were great shows,” wrote one fan on X (formerly Twitter). “This is awful news,” another added. “I’m sorry what do you mean They Cancelled FBI Int??!! mw got kind of boring but International?!!” another person wrote in response to the news.

The dreaded deep cuts on CBS’ series slate are starting with two high-profile cancellations. The network is not renewing the FBI spinoffs FBI: Most Wanted, which will be ending after six seasons, and FBI: International, canceled after four seasons. Both Wolf Entertainment/Universal television series are headlined by big stars, Dylan McDermott (Most Wanted) and Jesse Lee Soffer (International), who moved to the offshoots from other Dick Wolf shows, Law & Order: Organized Crime and Chicago P.D., respectively.
The cancellations leave the highly rated mothership FBI, now in its seventh season and Year 1 of a three-year pickup, and potential new offshoot FBI: CIA, now in development at CBS. The axing of Most Wanted and International boosts FBI: CIA’s chances. A planted spinoff set to air as an episode of the mothership series, FBI: CIA is currently casting with several actors in negotiations. Based on the talent that gets attached,...
