Aneet Padda who has shot to overnight fame in Mohit Suri-Yashraj Films’ Saiyaara will next be seen next in a series, Nyaya, produced by Sameer Nair and Applause Entertainment, and also starring Fatima Sana Shaikh, Mohammed, Zeeshan Ayyub, Raghubir Yadav and Rajesh Sharma.
According to sources, Yash Raj is not too happy with their overnight sensation being seen on the digital domain.
However Yash Raj Films and Aditya Chopra can rest easy. The buzz around the series Nyaya is excellent.
A source close to Applause Entertainment informs me that Nyaya will take the Saiyaara actress notches above Saiyaara. “Sameer Nair of Applause Entertainment spotted Aneet Padda’s potential much before Saiyaara. She has been cast in a pivotal role in Nyaya. And the girl is every bit as confident in the series as she is in Saiyaara. How does the size of the screen matter, and who was to know...

Subhash K Jha turns the spotlight on the brilliance of Dilip Kumar on reel as one of the finest actors, comedy and drama and everything in between, in the world.
He didn’t act. He reacted. Dilip Kumar was to the acting profession what Lata Mangeshkar was to playback singing. Take them away, and what are we left with in Hindi cinema?
Born as Yusuf Khan in a family of 12 children, the future doyen of on-screen dramatics moved with his family from his native town in Peshawar to Mumbai, where the Khans made a living as fruit sellers. For a brief while, Yusuf Khan even worked in an army canteen, when Devika Rani, the wife of the legendary Himanshu Rai of the Bombay Talkies studios, spotted the lanky but intense young man in a crowd.

The fate of Ms. MarvelSeason 2 looks bleak, as one of the series' actors hints he hasn't been contacted back, including for potential appearances in other MCU projects. Ms. Marvel debuted in June 2022, and despite being one of the McU's best-reviewed projects (98% on Rotten Tomatoes), the series was also one of the least viewed. This was a combined effect of being centered on a new character with no connection to the films and airing simultaneously on Disney+ as Obi-Wan Kenobi. Ms. Marvel's status as a teenage superhero makes her a natural fit for the structure of a television series, yet Disney+ has not announced any updates about the series in nearly three years.
While speaking with Screen Rant ahead of his role in Karate Kid: Legends, actor Aramis Knight was asked about the potential future of Ms. Marvel Season 2. Knight played Kareem, a member of the organization known as the Red Daggers,...

Jatin-Lalit’s songs in Kunal Kohli’s Hum Tum especially the title song, were hits.
Recalling the genesis of the music, Lalit says, “After Mohabbatein, there was nothing else we were doing for Aditya Chopra and Yash Raj Films as Adi and Yashji were very busy working on the final constructions and installations at Yrf studios. One day, Adi called us and asked to come over to meet him. Both me and Jatin went to meet him, and Adi spoke to us about this film Hum Tum with a new director, Kunal Kohli!”
Lalit vividly recalls Aditya Chopra’s instructions . “I remember very clearly him mentioning and saying that, ‘Look, this time we don’t have a Shahrukh Khan with us. We have Saif and he so far hasn’t had a single hit as a solo hero!! So a lot will depend on the music. If the music fails,...

Director Shaad Ali talks with Subhash K Jha on the brilliant Bunty Aur Babli, which starred Abhishek Bachchan and Rani Mukherjee and reflects on the enduring popularity of the film 20 years on.
Shaad, although you made other popular films, Bunty Aur Babli remains your signature creation; how do you explain its uninterrupted popularity?
I think Bunty Aur Babli is…was a story and an experience very close to home and heart. We took a lot of time and, care and experience to write the characters and the screenplay and then the lyrics and the music. And I treated it like my first film. And put all my love into it. It had all the madness of my life then in it. And then to top it all, the cast they projected the plot on to the screen. The film exploded in the theatres. The impact was so potent that it...

"Daredevil: Born Again" season 1 is an admirable salvage job that has its good and bad moments, but ultimately manages to do the thing it sets out to do: Bringing Matt "Daredevil" Murdock (Charlie Cox), Wilson "Kingpin" Fisk (Vincent D'Onofrio), Frank "The Punisher" Castle (Jon Bernthal), and what few people are left of their innermost circles fully into the Marvel Cinematic Universe without compromising the street-level intensity of the "Daredevil" series from the Defenders Saga era. This is a show where Kingpin crushes heads "Game of Thrones"-style, serial killers make art from the blood of their victims, and a major "Daredevil" character dies during the opening minutes of episode 1, "Heaven's Half Hour."
Still, due to its long and storied development process, "Daredevil: Born Again" is also a show that was cobbled together from bits and pieces. Few people know this better than Cox, who utterly disliked one of the show's...

“Daredevil: Born Again” star Charlie Cox revealed his least favorite episode of the Disney+ series’ first season — and it is not the one Marvel fans might expect.
In an interview published Tuesday with The Playlist, Cox revealed that the one episode of “Daredevil: Born Again” Season 1 that remained untouched after the series’ well-publicized creative overhaul was its fifth installment, “With Interest.” The episode follows Cox’s Matt Murdock as he stops a New York City bank heist and, in the process of doing so, saves Yusuf Khan (Mohan Kapur), the father of “Ms. Marvel” hero Kamala Khan (Iman Vellani).
“There was one episode we didn’t change at all. It’s the episode in the bank [“With Interest”], and that was part of the original [shoot],” Cox told The Playlist. “Just for my money, I wasn’t into it. I didn’t like it. It was my least favorite of the episodes, and...

Daredevil: Born Again was a hit with fans and critics, but the fifth episode—"With Interest"—proved to be the most divisive. Tonally, it was far more jovial than the rest of the season and felt more like a Mark Waid Daredevil comic than one by Frank Miller or Chip Zdarsky, for example.
In the episode, Matt Murdock finds himself caught up in a bank robbery alongside Ms. Marvel's father, Yusuf Khan. The Man Without Fear helps to take down the robbers, and it's been confirmed that this was the only instalment of Daredevil: Born Again left untouched by the creative overhaul.
Talking to The Playlist, Charlie Cox elaborated on what the series looked like before Dario Scardapane took over as showrunner, and made a startling admission.

There is no doubt about it: Daredevil: Born Again has quickly become one of the most successful shows of 2025. It's no surprise either, for the Marvel Studios series has been anticipated for years, as fans of the original Netflix series have waited for Disney Plus to revive it. This was the year that those wishes came true.
Audiences were thrilled when Matt Murdock, Karen Page, Foggy Nelson, Wilson Fisk, Vanessa Fisk, and The Punisher all returned to screens for the revival and it gripped us all throughout its nine episode first season. Nobody was more thrilled than star Charlie Cox, who had been waiting for another chance to put on the mask since the cancellation of the original series in 2018.
However, Cox wasn't particularly thrilled about one episode in the new series, and it might come as a surprise.

A credible rumor has been circulating online that Marvel Studios might be eyeing Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan for a role in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. If rumors prove to be true, then the Marvel and Bollywood fans are in for a massive celebration.
The source of the rumor, as reported by the Times of India, is a popular Marvel scooper handle on X called @MarvelLeaks22. According to a post on the page, Shah Rukh Khan seems to be in early talks to enter the MCU to essay an undisclosed role.
The post also specified that the role will not be in Avengers: Doomsday, which has led to some speculation about who the actor could be playing in the MCU.

In this special throwback interview, Subhash K Jha revisits the one where Anushka Sharma, right after her debut in Rab Ne Bana De Jodi, talks about acting for the first time and how much of a fan she is of Shah Rukh Khan!
It seems like just yesterday when I interviewed Anushka Sharma for the first time after the release of her debut film Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi.
She introduced herself, saying, “Sir, I’ve grown up reading your reviews and articles. I’ve been around for a while. I kept coming to Mumbai for modelling assignments. I decided to move into Mumbai a year ago with my mom since my dad is posted out. I haven’t bought my place. Right now, I’m very comfortable in the army quarters. I don’t feel the need to move from where I am.”

Daredevil: Born Again is one of the more exceptional Marvel Cinematic Universe projects because Charlie Cox already starred as Daredevil in an eponymous Netflix series that was McU-adjacent; a Marvel show not produced by Marvel Studios. Cox was so beloved as The Man Without Fear, that even after that run officially ended, he was brought back by MCU head Kevin Feige.
First, he filmed a cameo for Spider-Man: No Way Home, then he featured in episodes of She-Hulk: Attorney at Law. Daredevil’s many masks are on display in one scene of Born Again – superhero clothing designer, Luke Jacobson, worked on Daredevil’s outfits in the She-Hulk Disney Plus show.
Charlie Cox’s vigilante hero also had a sensational fight scene opposite the titular anti-hero in the Disney Plus limited series, Echo. The actor even voiced Daredevil in recent animated chapters of Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man.

Spoiler Alert !!!Spoilers ahead for Daredevil: Born Again
This week’s Daredevil: Born Again felt like we were back in the Netflix original’s territory again. The penultimate episode of the season saw intense drama between Matt Murdock, Wilson Fisk, and Vanessa, with Benjamin ‘Bullseye’ Poindexter making a comeback after killing Foggy Nelson in the season premiere.
New details emerged about who was behind Foggy’s death in the show, but the biggest question among fans is why Matt jumped to save Wilson Fisk from almost certain death. Matt gets shot and ends up with what seems like a dangerous flesh wound. However, this might be the perfect opportunity to bring back Karen Page to the show.

In this new era of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, change is a constant. We've known that since the Multiverse Saga began, but it's only in recent years that it has come to forefront of the franchise. Sure, the film series evolved a great deal with the inclusion of Disney Plus shows and standalone specials, but ever since some of its projects began underperforming, a new - more extensive - overhaul has been taking place.
After reports that expensive shows like She-Hulk: Attorney At Law and Secret Invasion struggled, the studio had to find a different way to make Marvel Television feasible. And so expensive miniseries were scrapped for potentially long-running multi-season shows with smaller budgets. Look no further than Agatha All Along, which carried the lowest price tag of any MCU project and went on to become one of Disney Plus' most successful - and acclaimed - projects of 2024.

Ms. Marvel might just be stretching her way back into the MCU spotlight, and not just because her dad got some unexpected superhero screentime! While Kamala Khan herself has been Mia since The Marvels, her proud papa Yusuf Khan made a surprise (and surprisingly heroic) cameo in Daredevil: Born Again episode 5, dodging bullets and getting rescued by none other than Matt Murdock.
Now, with fans buzzing over Yusuf’s sudden MCU glow-up, a Daredevil executive producer has teased that Kamala’s return could be closer than we think. Could this mean Ms. Marvel is about to team up with Hell’s Kitchen’s finest? Or is this just a clever breadcrumb in Marvel’s long game? Either way, it looks like Kamala’s dreams of forming the Young Avengers might still be in play, and we’re totally here for it. Grab your...

Spoiler Alert !!!This article contains spoilers for Daredevil: Born Again.
Daredevil: Born Again is back to its normal schedule after the double feature that it dropped last week. While Episode 5 follows Matt teaming up with Yusuf Khan to thwart a bank heist, Episode 6 makes some major strides in the plot. Matt Murdock took up the mantle of Daredevil once again and decided to lay the beatdown on Muse, the newest serial killer in town.
Matt Murdock saw himself deal with Muse in this episode, with Heather putting an end to the serial killer for good. However, the credit for the kill ended up going to Wilson Fisk’s Anti-Vigilante Task Force, which might be well on its way to winning the public’s trust in favor of Wilson Fisk.

Some seven years after Netflix’s acclaimed Daredevil series was unceremoniously axed, the Man Without Fear is back and making himself at home in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. While Daredevil and the rest of the Defender-centric shows lived in their own MCU purgatory, Marvel Studios is finally free to do what it wants with its street-level heroes and villains. With it, Daredevil: Born Again has already planted itself firmly in the MCU with nods to the wider world.
Charlie Cox’s Matt Murdock already stopped by for brief cameos in Echo, She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, and Spider-Man: No Way Home, while Vincent D’Onforio’s Wilson Fisk/Kingpin survived a run-in with a bullet in Hawkeye and popped up in the Echo miniseries, too. Daredevil: Born Again, so far, has managed to impress critics and fans alike, despite the departure that it too from its Netflix counterpart. With Karen Page and Foggy Nelson swiftly departing the narrative for various reasons, Matt has managed to develop and maintain a completely new set of comrades in Born Again.
However, one connection seems to have been a little awkward for fans to witness, given the writing for the character leaves out some huge gaps that don’t make sense. Angela Ayala, Hector’s niece, seems to trust Matt more than she does most adults in power, but that could have been built up a little bit.

The following contains spoilers for Daredevil: Born Again, Season 1, Episode 5, "With Interest," now streaming on Disney+.
On St. Patrick's Day, Matt Murdock goes to the bank for a loan, meeting Kamala Khan's father. Yusuf is the assistant manager at the bank, who denied Matt's request. He leaves, but later returns to the bank when he hears a group of robbers taking the customers and employees hostage.
Even though he has't worn the familiar red suit since the first episode, audiences see Matt Murdock become Daredevil to stop the criminals and save the hostages. While the self-contained nature of the story is unique, what makes Episode 5, "With Interest," great seems incongruous with good storytelling.

Even though he has't worn the familiar red suit since the first episode, audiences see Matt Murdock become Daredevil to stop the criminals and save the hostages. While the self-contained nature of the story is unique, what makes Episode 5, "With Interest," great seems incongruous with good storytelling.

The following contains spoilers for Daredevil: Born Again, Season 1, Episode 5, now streaming on Disney+.
MCU fans' biggest fear ahead of Daredevil: Born Again was that the series wouldn't be as dark as its Netflix predecessor. Their fears were ultimately unfounded, with the new Disney+ series delivering a story that has thus far been every bit as dark and brutal as Netflix's Daredevil. However, Episode 5 proves the series can change its tone without doing any harm to the quality of storytelling. Episode 5 follows Charlie Cox's Matt Murdock and Mohan Kapur's Yusuf Khan, who made his MCU debut in Ms. Marvel, as the two work together to overcome a group of armed robbers at the bank where Yusuf works.
Though the episode features life-or-death stakes, it is notably lighter in tone than other installments of Born Again. While the series has so far spent time exploring courtroom drama and the...

Marvel Studios released two episodes of Daredevil: Born Again on Disney+ earlier this week, and while not everyone loved that bottle episode featuring Yusuf Khan, the Man Without Fear's return in the sixth instalment has been celebrated by fans and critics alike.
With more reviews counted, Daredevil: Born Again's score on Rotten Tomatoes has risen. As we write this, it has an 87% score on the Tomatometer and 80% from fans on the Popcornmeter.
This puts it ahead of Daredevil season 2's 81% and 89% scores in the same categories. However, there's still a long way to go before reaching Daredevil season 3 and Daredevil season 1.
Daredevil: Born Again ranks among Marvel Studios' best-reviewed TV shows. Season 2 is already in the works, and a third is expected to follow. This comes as Marvel Television looks to focus on multi-season series rather than one-off efforts meant to set up future movies and stories.

The following contains light spoilers for Daredevil: Born Againepisode 5, "With Interest," now streaming on Disney+
Daredevil: Born Again just gave Matt Murdock his latest and most unexpected Marvel crossover, but in a way that still fits the show's tone.
Speaking with Phase Hero host Brandon Davis, episode director Jeff Nachmanoff revealed what it was like pairing Murdock with Ms. Marvel patriarch Yusuf Khan in a bottle episode that forces them to thwart a bank robbery on St. Patrick's Day. According to Nachmanoff, credit goes to executive producer Sana Amanat, who co-created Kamala Khan and produced the Disney+ adaptation featuring Mohan Kapur as Kamala's father, adding that Amanat "helped me understand what Yusuf's background was and the tone of that other show was much lighter and much more comedic."
Amanat added, "So it was... how do we make that work?Daredevil is about as dark as you go in Marvel and I'd say Ms.

This week’s Daredevil: Born Again double feature saw Charlie Cox’s Matt Murdock getting back to the vigilante game. He first prevented a bank robbery from going right, and then donned his suit again to save Ava Ayala from Muse. While the series has been positioned as a direct sequel to the Netflix show, only Wilson Fisk and Matt seem to be the common points.
After the creative overhaul of the show, actors Elden Hanson, Deborah Ann Woll, and Jon Bernthal were confirmed to return, only for them to be barely there in the show. Elden Hanson’s Foggy was killed in the first few minutes of the episode, and Karen Page was confirmed to have moved after his death. However, there are some hints as to how she returns.

The latest episodes of Daredevil: Born Again have hit Disney+ and gave us a look at a few familiar faces: Jack Duquesne, Aka Swordsman – who appeared in Hawkeye and, of course, Kamala’s dad, Yusuf Khan. A few minutes of screen time were also given to the “new” (she appeared in the first episode of the series) character, detective Angie Kim.
So, who is ‘Daredevil: Born Again’s Angie Kim?
Angie Kim works for the New York City Police Department, partnering with another detective named Cherry. The two share a strong bond, even if they don’t always see eye to eye.
At Cherry’s retirement party in Josie’s Bar (Episode 1), they clash over vigilantes like Daredevil and White Tiger. Cherry thinks the police are losing their grip because of these masked crime-fighters. Angie, though, has a different take. She believes some vigilantes truly want to help, while others just crave power.

It’s Saint Paddy’s Day in Daredevil: Born Again’s fifth episode. A driving Irish jig plays us in upon a city swept up in dark beer and merrymaking. The fun is cut short, though, when a group of robbers led by the brutal gangster Devlin stick up New York Mutual. Devlin and his team take hostages in their attempt to steal a valuable amber diamond from the bank’s vault.
A few minutes before the heist commences, Matthew Murdock is trying to renegotiate his law firm’s loan. He shares some snappy yet down-to-earth dialogue with the assistant bank manager, a wholesome man named Yusuf Khan, who regrets to inform him that the law firm does not meet the bank’s loan criteria because of how many “unprofitable” (read: pro bono) clients it takes on.

Daredevil: Born Again finally saw Matt Murdock suit up as Daredevil, as Marvel Television delivered the double whammy of Episodes 5 and 6 being dropped together. While I expected that Wilson Fisk would be the reason why Matt would suit up as the Devil of Hell’s Kitchen once more, this episode was a welcome surprise that completely jossed that theory.

Daredevil deciding to put on the suit to combat the monstrous killer on the streets is something that was beyond satisfying for me.

Depending who you ask, Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox) is always in the right place at the right time, or the wrong place at the wrong time. “Daredevil: Born Again” sends our allegedly retired hero into the thick of a bank robbery — one that he had just narrowly escaped before diving back into the fray.
Because as much as he wants to protect himself, his loved ones, and the city he calls home, those aren’t the real reasons why he can never fully give up Daredevil; the fact is, he can’t stay away.
Episode 5, “With Interest,” directed by Jeffrey Nachmanoff and written by Grainne Godfree, is bookended by scenes of Matt and Yusuf Khan (Mohan Kapur), a nice little crossover with Daredevil’s neighbor across the river, “Ms. Marvel.” Matt is looking for a loan for his firm, and while Yusuf can’t approve it, he can’t help but like the guy.

Daredevil: Born Again's fifth episode, "With Interest," was directed by Jeffrey Nachmanoff and has proven to be surprisingly divisive since hitting Disney+ yesterday evening.
The filmmaker also helmed last week's "Sic Semper Systema," but this bottle episode - a largely standalone instalment of a series typically filmed in a single location, often with a minimal cast - seems to either be drawing rave reviews or harsh criticisms.
Talking to Phase Hero, Nachmanoff reflected on shooting Matt Murdock's team-up with Ms. Marvel's father, Yusuf Khan, and confirmed that "With Interest" is the only episode of Daredevil: Born Again not to have been tinkered with during the creative overhaul.
"This episode is the only completely untouched episode, I believe, from the original version of the show before we went back and reworked it," he explained. "You can feel that. It has that bottle episode feel because it's just Matt for the most part.

Daredevil: Born Again dropped a double episode this weekend, and it marks a crucial turning point in the series. While the series won over many Marvel fans, some of them were frustrated at the absence of significant action sequences from Charlie Cox as Daredevil. For the first four episodes, Cox had been struggling with his vigilante identity after Foggy’s death.

However, episodes 5 and 6 saw him taking on the vigilante identity once again to stop a serial killer named Muse. It was a wise decision from Disney to drop the two episodes together, as the fifth episode felt more like a filler. However, the sixth episode was the perfect episode that fans have been waiting for since the series premiered on March 4.

Spoiler Alert !!!Spoilers ahead for Daredevil: Born Again Episode 5
The Disney+ show Daredevil: Born Again is largely a sequel to the Netflix series and only has some references to the MCU. However, the latest episode just had its biggest reference to the larger storyline with a mention about Kamala Khan a.k.a Ms. Marvel. Her father, Yusuf Khan, is a large part of the show’s latest episode 5.
Daredevil has mostly been a street-level hero and I was quite happy to not see multiversal or cosmic shenanigans in the MCU after a long time. Spidey is battling the multiverse now, so Daredevil and Wilson Fisk make a great street-level rivalry in the MCU. However, Kevin Feige’s decision to drop this Avengers hint is disappointing.

The 4th episode of Daredevil: Born Again saw the return of Jon Bernthal’s iteration of Punisher. After failing to keep his client, Leroy Bradford, out of jail, Matt Murdock decided to confront Frank Castle for his alleged involvement in the murder of Hector Ayala. Of course, Castle hadn’t killed Ayala, but Murdock wanted Castle to understand that his brand of vigilantism and violence was inspiring the wrong crowd, i.e., New York’s “finest.” Meanwhile, Castle wanted Murdock to accept that he had failed Foggy Nelson; he wasn’t happy that Benjamin Poindexter had gotten life imprisonment, and he was raring to cross some lines in order to ensure true justice was served. While these two screamed at each other for a bit, it was revealed that Wilson Fisk had Adam—the guy that Vanessa had an affair with—imprisoned in his personal art museum and was punishing...

Marvel has been slowly but steadily lining up potential members of the Young Avengers, and finally gave it a near explicit mention in “The Marvels.” Now, thanks to the latest episode of “Daredevil: Born Again,” we might have gotten a new update.

This article contains spoilers for "Daredevil: Born Again" season 1, episode 6.
"Daredevil: Born Again" has an interesting way to deal with its Marvel Cinematic Universe references. The show generally steers clear of too many explicit MCU allusions, instead choosing to operate with existing Netflix-era characters and occasional newcomers like Hector "White Tiger" Ayala (Kamar de los Reyes) and Heather Glenn (Margarita Levieva) added in the mix. Still, the show isn't afraid to drop not-too-subtle Spider-Man (Tom Holland) references. Daredevil: Born Again's fifth episode, "With Interest," sees Matt Murdock get caught up in stopping a bank robbery. However, with no superhero suit at his disposal and a secret identity to protect, the Man Without Fear has the odds stacked against him.
Helping matters is the fact he finds an unexpected ally in Yusuf Khan, Kamala Khan's father. Yes, after his visit to outer space in The Marvels, Ms. Marvel's dad is back to working in the bank and sadly unable to give Matt the funding he and Kirsten McDuffie's law firm needs.
During their conversation, it's established that Matt isn't overly familiar with Ms. Marvel. The hero does make a cameo, of sorts, though...courtesy of a real-life Funko Pop figure her father happily shows off to the blind lawyer.

“Daredevil: Born Again” marks the official entrance into the Marvel Cinematic Universe for most of the characters in the show — save for Charlie Cox’s Matt Murdock, who first appeared via “Spider-Man: No Way Home” and then again in “She-Hulk,” and Vincent D’Onofrio’s Wilson Fisk, who appeared in “Hawkeye” and “Echo.”
The original Netflix series was technically set within the larger MCU, but rarely even indulged in references and kept mainly to its own corner of street-level heroes. Up until this point, “Born Again” has followed suit and hasn’t featured any major crossovers with the MCU at large, aside from a couple of references here and there.
Well, that changed with Episode 5, but if you haven’t kept up with the other Marvel shows on Disney+, you might be a little confused about how.

The original Netflix series was technically set within the larger MCU, but rarely even indulged in references and kept mainly to its own corner of street-level heroes. Two weeks after having Wilson Fisk refer to “a man who dresses in a spider outfit” — akin to how Netflix’s Marvel shows would awkwardly refer to “the big green dude” and “the flag-waver” — Disney+’s Daredevil: Born Again actually name-dropped a fellow MCU hero.
The revival-of-sort’s fifth episode (of Season 1’s nine) saw Matt Murdock (played by Charlie Cox) making a mild-mannered trip to New York Mutual bank, to follow up on Murdock & McDuffie’s loan application.

Daredevil: Born Again has been something of a slow burn. Sure, it opened with a shocker of a premiere episode, destroying the world that audiences fell in love with on the Netflix series, but it has spent its time trying to put the pieces of that world back together. The fourth episode took it some steps closer to that, as Matt Murdock reunited with his old frenemy Frank Castle, a.k.a. The Punisher, for a vicious catch-up.
The two vigilantes had a conversation that felt like it had been ripped straight from the Netflix series, setting the stage for Matt's eventual return to heroics. He's not quite there yet, but all it takes is one more push - and that's something that the pretty unique fifth episode of the series seems committed to showcasing.
With that in mind, let's dive into what goes down in the fifth episode, titled...

The fifth episode of Daredevil: Born Again might not be the most over-the-top or flashy episode of the season, but it was one of the most fun episodes of the season – one which allowed us to see Matt using his abilities to save the day in an unexpected way that didn’t require him to suit up as Daredevil. It also didn’t hurt that the episode featured a fun and unexpected cameo as well a major update on a cancelled Marvel movie rumored to have since been turned into a series.
Before diving into the spoilers, let this serve as a warning that spoilers are coming for the fifth episode of Daredevil: Born Again.
Early in the episode, Matt heads out to the bank in hopes of securing a loan for his firm, which is struggling a bit lately thanks to Matt’s bleeding heart and desire to take...

Since launching on Disney+, Daredevil: Born Again has been serving up some truly unexpected and fun MCU Easter eggs that have made watching the new series even more fun for die-hard Marvel fans.
Right out of the gate in the two-episode premiere, Fisk not-so-casually named-dropped one of Marvel’s biggest heroes when he alluded to New Yorkers not needing a man who dresses in a spider outfit in a clear reference to Spider-Man. In that same episode, he also referred to The Punisher, who officially made his debut in the MCU episodes later when Jon Bernthal reprised his role as Frank Castle in the show’s fourth episode.
Then there was the show’s funny nod to the Skrulls which acknowledged the events of Secret Invasion finally, and there was also the unexpected name-dropping of Miles Morales’ father, Officer Morales. Needless to say, the writers have been taking full advantage...

This article contains spoilers for Daredevil: Born Again Episodes 5 & 6.
Daredevil: Born Again just broke from convention and dropped two new episodes on Disney+. While previous live-action MCU series have had two episode premieres, including Daredevil: Born Again, and some, like Agatha All Along, aired two-episode finales, none have aired two episodes back to back in the middle of the run. The fifth episode hinted at a potential MCU team-up that nobody could have expected: Daredevil and Ms. Marvel.
Daredevil is no stranger to teaming up with other heroes, as Matt Murdock previously joined Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, and Iron Fist in The Defenders, and this season of Daredevil: Born Again has already shown Matt Murdock reuniting with Frank Castle / The Punisher. Fans even hope to see Daredevil and Spider-Man share the screen after their alter egos were seen together in Spider-Man: No Way Home. Matt Murdock even appeared in She-Hulk: Attorney at Law,...

Plot: Matt Murdock, a blind lawyer with heightened abilities is fighting for justice through his bustling law firm, while former mob boss Wilson Fisk pursues his own political endeavors in New York. When their past identities begin to emerge, both men find themselves on an inevitable collision course.
Review: Just under ten years ago, Marvel brought its first street-level hero to Netflix with Daredevil. While the series would be followed by Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, Iron Fist, and a crossover event in Defenders, the Charlie Cox-led Daredevil was the best series of the bunch. After three seasons, Daredevil ended its Netflix run, and the cast said goodbye to the denizens of Hell’s Kitchen. But, when Marvel Studios reacquired the full rights to the characters, we saw Cox show up in Spider-Man: No Way Home and She-Hulk: Attorney At Law while Vincent D’Onofrio returned as Wilson Fisk in the Disney+ series Hawkeye and Echo.
