Paramount Pictures has released three clips for Flight, director Robert Zemeckis' return to live-action filmmaking. Denzel Washington stars as Whip, a pilot who becomes a hero after his unorthodox actions save the lives of his passengers. However, he turns from savior to pariah in an instant when it is determined Whip had alcohol in his system that day. The first scene features investigator Hugh Lang (Don Cheadle) explaining to Whip that he was the only person who could have landed the plane that way. The second video is with Whip and Hugh talking at the crash site, and the third shows a conversation between Whip and his co-pilot Ken Evans (Brian Geraghty).

John Gatins has had a long and storied career in Hollywood, working as both an actor and a screenwriter. He began by appearing in low budget horror movies like Pumpkinhead 2 and Leprechaun 3. It was here, while waiting for his close-up on set, that he began to pour over the scripts and learn there structure, becoming a self-taught scribe who suddenly found himself doing rewrites for Varsity Blues. He then soon moved onto a career in sports themed projects, stepping behind the keyboard for Summer Catch, Hardball, and Coach Carter.

This lead to his directorial debut, the 2005 film Dreamer: Inspired by a True Story, starring Kurt Russell and Dakota Fanning. Melissa Leo Talks Flight, in theaters Friday, November 2nd

Oscars have been won with less screen time, but don't bring up the subject to Melissa Leo, who shares a short, but very intense and important scene with Denzel Washington in Flight. The actress worked on the Robert Zemeckis directed drama for one day, and would rather not dwell on any award aspirations for her work. Despite her first Oscar win, she claims to be a blue collar actress. Someone who sees the craft as a job, not a cause for celebrity.

We recently caught up with Melissa Leo to talk about this and more on the eve of Flight's release. It's Robert Zemeckis' first live action movie in more than a decade, and it proves that the director is still at the top of his game when it comes to dealing with real flesh and blood people on tangible movie sets.

MTV has released two new looks at their upcoming “Teen Wolf” TV series. The show debuts in with a two-part premiere on Sunday June 5 at 11/10c, conveniently after the 2011 Movie Awards, and Monday on June 6 at 10/9c. The show will then air weekly on Mondays starting June 13 at 10/9c, so, mark your calendars if you’re interested. I personally think the show looks much better than the two movies, but then again, that’s not saying much, is it? The plot? Kid gets bitten and becomes a werewolf. This, as you might imagine, causes lots of issues for him in high school. Oh, remember those days? Starring Tyler Posey, Crystal Reed, Dylan O’Brien, Colton Haynes, Holland Roden, Melissa Ponzio, Jill Wagner, Adam C. Edwards, and Keahu Kahuanui. Russell Mulcahy of “Highlander” fame directs the pilot, along with other episodes.
