Jacqueline Lucia DiMare is a Swedish-American Method actress, writer, and director. Born in Neuilly-sur-Seine, France, she was raised in Britain by a Swedish writer and an American veteran-pilot. French and Swedish are her birth languages, but she adopted the English language by watching the Classics, shaping a deep reverence for storytelling from an early age.
At four years old, Jacqueline declared her calling as an actress on screen and stage. She has since honed her craft with training in musical theatre and Shakespeare acting. Following the pandemic, she moved to America to further her studies in Method Acting, training remotely with the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute before completing the One-Year Conservatory in Los Angeles. She later continued and advanced her Method training at the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute's esteemed New York City campus.
DiMare made her directorial debut with "I Let You Go", a mobile short film she wrote, produced, directed and starred in. The film, lauded for its poignant storytelling and "smart filmmaking," has garnered international recognition, winning nominations and awards, including Best Young Filmmaker.
On stage in NYC, DiMare starred in two diverse acclaimed productions with the Essence Theatre Studio: as The Stallion in "Kholstomer: The History of the Horse" and as the lead, Farrah, in "Constellation of Omar Khayyam". Audiences have hailed her performance as Farrah "mesmerizing," "bewitching," and imbued with a "soulful wisdom beyond her years."
Beyond acting, DiMare is an emerging force in literature, songwriting and screenwriting, weaving narratives that bridge cultures, perspectives, and the raw complexity of human spirit. With a vision as bold as her talent and drive, she continues to craft stories and embody characters that challenge and enchant, inviting audiences into worlds both familiar and unknown.
