Started acting at the early age of eight, from Kolkata Film and Television Institution under the supervision of Masters like Kaushik Sen, Anjan Deb and Indrani Halder . Got my first break in 2011 in a Television series of Balaji Telefilms 'Konya' as 'Shobita', after six to seven months of working in the same I joined 'Nandikar', one of the most respected and premiere theatre groups of Kolkata, practiced and learned Theatre acting for ten years supervised by the veteran theatre maestro Sri Rudraprasad Sengupta in between which I got the opportunity to perform at the National School of Drama (Jashn-E-Bachpan) in 2016. In the same year I acted in the movie 'Praktan',a 'Windows' production directed by 'Shiboprosad Mukherjee' and 'Nandita Roy' as 'Phuljhuri'. Besides acting I had a parallel inclination towards the various dance forms; I learned western dance from 'Allen Dance Academy', after completing a course of 3 years, I shifted to learn Bharatnatyam under Guru Thankumuny Kutty at 'Kalamandir', then finally I started learning creative form of dance, a course that I'm currently pursuing from 'Tanusree Shankar Dance Academy' for 10 years now. Coming back to my actor self, in the year 2019 I auditioned for a role in 'Bhalobashar Golpo' by the National Award winning director 'Raja Sen' and got selected and played the character of 'Rimpi'. After 'Bhalobashar Golpo', in the same year I got to perform at the Inaugural dance event of KIFF (Kolkata International Film Festival) under the supervision of Madam 'Tanusree Shankar'. Before any other scope for acting could come, COVID-19 happened, some of my friends and I started a YouTube channel named 'Trio Shorts' where we used to write, act,edit and post short films which we made at our homes. Then again after the world started recovering, I took admission in the same institution from where I started and acted in a short film 'Love in' in 2022, and then in 2023 I again had the opportunity to act in a feature named 'Khelaghar' (SGS Production) which is yet to be released.
