Biography

Matthew is a Toronto-based actor and trained singer of Greek, Austrian, French, Scottish, and English descent. Inspired to act from the age of five, he is the second eldest of four children and has built a dynamic career across film, television, voiceover, new media, and commercials.

In 2024, Matthew made his theatre debut as Medea's Son in the Canadian Opera Company's acclaimed production of Medea, directed by Sir David McVicar. The production earned five Dora Mavor Moore Awards, including Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble and Outstanding Production (Opera Division). He also voices the lead character Bobbi in Season 4 of Deer Squad (Nickelodeon).

His work has been featured on platforms including Netflix, Amazon Prime, and Nickelodeon, demonstrating his versatility and ability to portray a wide range of characters with authenticity and depth.

Committed to continuous growth, Matthew trains regularly with top industry coaches at Armstrong Acting Studio, LB Acting Studio, and LeBlanc School of Acting in Toronto and Vancouver.

A dedicated athlete, Matthew is a P2-level competitive gymnast and rep soccer player. He pursues gymnastics with the goal of performing his own stunts as he advances in his career. Known for his focus, discipline, and expressive presence, he brings natural comedic timing and strong storytelling instincts to every role. Passionate about character-driven storytelling, Matthew aspires to work on international productions. In his spare time, he enjoys gaming, playing basketball, engaging in outdoor activities, and is fearless when trying new foods.
