Tibor Nyíri was born on 16 December 1906 in Újfehértó, Hungary. He was a writer, known for Díszmagyar (1949), Nyitva a kiskapu (1958) and Menyasszonytánc (1959). He died on 30 December 1977 in Budapest, Hungary.
