Mandy Moore has been married and divorced, and that only covers part of her relationship highs and lows.

For those who remember, Mandy Moore’s most infamous romance was likely with Vilmer Valderrama.

She and the That ’70s Show alum dated from 2000 until 2002, very early into her fame.

Valderrama boasted in a 2006 interview that he had been the first to sleep with her, adding that she did not feel “like warm apple pie.”

She and her husband Taylor Goldsmith welcomed their third child – a baby girl named Lou – in September. The couple already share sons Gus and Ozzie.

Dawes appeared on CBS Mornings’ latest Saturday Sessions to showcase a pair of songs from their recent album Oh Brother, as well as perform their fundraising track for the California wildfires.

The Los Angeles-based group delivered “Still Strangers Sometimes” and “Front Row Seat” from 2024’s Oh Brother as well as “Time Spent in Los Angeles,” a decade-old track that Dawes revisited in the aftermath of the wildfires.

It’s been an eventful 2025 for the band’s brotherly duo of Taylor and Griffin Goldsmith, whose properties were both impacted by the Altadena wildfires earlier this year.

Days ahead of the release of their new album, Life, Death & Dennis Hopper, The Waterboys have unveiled plans for a 2025 tour across North America.

The tour dates will bring the Mike Scott-helmed band to the US and Canada in September and October, kicking off on September 4th in Washington, DC. From there, they’ll perform in New York, Toronto, Nashville, Chicago, Seattle, Los Angeles, and more cities, before wrapping in Oklahoma City on October 4th. Tickets for the tour will first become available through an artist pre-sale opening on April 2nd at 9:00 a.m. local time, with some dates also offering a Live Nation pre-sale opening later that day at 12:00 p.m. (use code Dance). The Waterboys have recruited Fiona Apple as the narrator of their latest single “Letter From an Unknown Girlfriend.” The record, written by Mike Scott and performed by Apple, will appear on the forthcoming Waterboys concept album Life, Death and Dennis Hopper, out April 4.

The Waterboys have enlisted Fiona Apple to contribute her distinctive, gritty vocals and sweeping piano to their new song, “Letter from an Unknown Girlfriend.” Stream it below.

The track is taken from their upcoming album, Life, Death & Dennis Hopper, and is written from the perspective of a woman calling out her former abuser. “I used to say/ No man would ever strike me,” Apple sings. “And no man ever did/ ‘Til I met you.”

As the album’s liner notes point out, “‘Letter from an Unknown Girlfriend’ could be addressed to a controlling, abusive partner in any decade, any century.”

This isn’t Apple’s first connection to The Waterboys. In 2019, she covered their 1985 song “The Whole of the Moon” for the finale of Showtime’s acclaimed series The Affair.

Mandy Moore is opening up more about her house following the Los Angeles Fires last month.

The 40-year-old actress and singer and her family evacuated, though she didn’t get a notice but her brother-in-law urged them to leave, and her husband’s recording studio was completely lost to the fire.

In a new social media post, Mandy revealed that despite her main house being largely unaffected and remains standing, everything inside is a “near total loss” due to the effects of the fires all around.

Mandy Moore is putting Amazon on blast.

On Tuesday (February 11), the 40-year-old This Is Us actress took to her Instagram Stories to call out the company for allegedly delivering a package to her in-laws’ home that was destroyed in the Los Angeles fires.

“Do better, Amazon. Can we not have better discretion than to leave a package at a residence that no longer exists?” Mandy wrote. “This is my mother and father in law’s home. Smh.”

The first day of the Los Angeles wildfires, Brad Paisley texted his friend Taylor Goldsmith of the band Dawes about the impact on the Pacific Palisades, where Paisley once owned a home. In one of his replies, Goldsmith told Paisley that the fire was now encroaching on Altadena, where Goldsmith, his wife Mandy Moore, and their children live. They had to evacuate.

The 2025 Grammys didn’t just mention the Los Angeles fires that devastated the city over most of January. The televised ceremony made fire relief central to the show as it broadcast various performances, handed out awards to today’s top music artists over four hours, and, as host Trevor Noah revealed toward the show’s end, raised $7 million for relief efforts.

As the ceremony broadcast from the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles on Sunday, the show’s producers and A-list musicians, actors and celebrities honored Angelenos and those impacted by the fires, starting with Noah celebrating the spirit of L.A. in his opening monologue and the folk-rock band Dawes opening the ceremony with an all-star version of Randy Newman’s classic, “I Love L.A.” The band more than doubled in size as they were joined by Grammy-winning artists Brad Paisley, Brittany Howard, John Legend, Sheryl Crow and St. Vincent...

Trevor Noah is back to emcee duties for the 2025 Grammys.

At the top of the show, Noah was quick to note how, despite the show airing live from Los Angeles, music’s biggest night is coming under “unusual” circumstances.

“A few weeks ago we weren’t sure that this show would even happen. I mean, you don’t need me to tell you this, but the city has just been through one of the largest natural disasters in American history. Tens of thousands of people have lost their homes, entire neighborhoods have been erased. Schools, local businesses, and entire communities have burned to the ground. Thankfully, due to the heroic efforts of firefighters, the fires have now been contained,” he said.

“And despite all the devastation, the spirit of the city has emerged.

Nearly 30 of the biggest stars of the past half-century came together on Jan. 30 to deliver a five-and-a-half-hour love letter to Los Angeles, offering the city a much-needed musical catharsis following this month’s devastating, destructive wildfires.

The FireAid show was a huge undertaking: With so many artists eager to take part, organizers split them into two simultaneous events, at the famed Kia Forum and the newer Intuit Dome one mile down the street. Fittingly, most of the classic rock acts played the Forum, while the more contemporary pop stars played the newer venue.

Joni Mitchell took the stage at the Los Angeles FireAid benefit concert, where she performed a tender rendition of “Both Sides Now” with the accompaniment of Griff and Taylor Goldsmith of Dawes, Lucius, Taylor MacKall, Blake Mills, and Abe Rounds. Watch the performance below.

After losing her house in the Los Angeles fires, actress and musician Mandy Moore and her family are staying at the home of fellow actor Hilary Duff and her husband, musician Matthew Koma. Per Variety, Duff, who starred in the Lizzie McGuire series, How I Met Your Father, and Younger, took in the This Is Us star recently.

Moore’s brother-in-law, Griffin Goldsmith, said via an Instagram post that Duff and Koma also helped to launch a GoFundMe for Goldsmith’s family after they lost everything in the L.A. fires. As of this writing, the campaign has raised over $205,000. Goldsmith is in the band Dawes, with his brother and Moore’s husband, Taylor Goldsmith. The post can be viewed below.

After personally experiencing significant loss in the Southern California fires, Dawes appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live to pay tribute to their city with a special performance of “Time Spent in Los Angeles.”

Taylor Goldsmith and Griffin Goldsmith took the late-night stage for an intimate showcase of the 2011 song, off the band’s album Nothing Is Wrong. As the duo performed, footage of Los Angeles before and after the destructive fires played on the screen behind them. The performance was part of Jimmy Kimmel’s fundraiser for MusiCares, which supports musicians with financial hardships.

After suspending production last week due to the Los Angeles fires, CBS’ “The Price is Right” will remain dark through at least Tuesday, Deadline reports.

Los Angeles has been hit hard by wildfires in the area, which is home to scores of music industry professionals. Between the Palisades, Eaton and other fires, entire neighborhoods populated by artists, publicists, managers, agents, songwriters, label executives, session musicians and others in the business of music have been burned to the ground in a disaster of unprecedented proportions.

The music business, traditionally a tight-knit community, has been known to look after its own. Just yesterday, The Recording Academy and its charitable arm MusiCares announced it was pledging $1 million to support music professionals impacted by the fires.

In the CBS News segment above, Ventimiglia says that he and his wife evacuated their home on Tuesday, and were left to watch on the home security cameras “as flames took over” and turned their house to ash.

Actress Mandy Moore is a mother of three! The This Is Us star took to Instagram today to announce the birth of her third baby with her husband Taylor Goldsmith. “Endlessly grateful for our family of 5.”

The actress and musician announced in May that they were growing their family and revealed at the time that they were expecting a girl. The couple’s daughter arrived “right in time for Virgo season” and they chose to name her Louise Everett Goldsmith. The Dr. Death star also referred to her daughter with the nickname Lou. Of her daughter’s birth, Mandy wrote that Louise “arrived happy, healthy, expeditiously” and added, “She is our absolute dream girl and her big brothers are already as obsessed with her as we are.”
