Fame Academy: David Sneddon, Alistair Griffin - Where are they now?
Fame Academy may only have lasted two series, but boy, did it burn bright. And even though it was over ten years ago that it was on our screens, we're still belting out David Sneddon's utter tune 'Stop Living The Lie' at our DS karaoke sessions.

But the news of series two's Alistair Griffin teaming up with Kimberley Walsh for a Tour de France single got us thinking - what happened to all of our favourite Fame Academy contestants? Well, here's what we could find out about 16 of the students over both series...

Carloynne Poole stunned the judges at yesterday’s X Factor auditions, but it seems this is not the first reality TV show that she has applied for.

The 30 year old singer – who is married to Stockport County footballer David Poole – received high praise after she sang Miley Cyrus’ ‘The Climb’ for Gary Barlow, Tulisa Contostavlos, Kelly Rowland and Louis Walsh in Manchester yesterday, but we have discovered that she previously competed in BBC’s Fame Academy.

At the time the now Wag was not yet married and so went by the name of Carloynne Good. She reached the final of the 2003 series and a song she co-wrote with fellow contestants Alex Parks and James Fox titled “Not Your Average Kind of Girl”, was included on Parks’ 2003 debut album Introduction, which reached number 5 in the UK Top 40 Album charts.

The actress and professional songwriter – who once had a publishing contract with...
