At the age of 13, Brian Carlson began painting and in 1994, was awarded
a scholarship to Rhode Island School of Design. He received the Vision
in Color Award at the 2001 New England Film and Video Festival for his
documentary short, "Juicio," which led to the production of his current
short film Last Night (2004). A skilled and talented artist, Brian Carlson
examines human relationships with realism, creating visions of inner
worlds often neglected. Currently, he is developing his first feature
length screenplay.
