Susan Paerels is a New Jersey-based, trained actor for TV/Film, voice-over, and also a lifestyle model. She has appeared on TV, Film, Commercials, Indies, Shorts, Verticals, Music Videos, Voice-Over, Print work, etc... In 2024, she played the mom in a commercial for Boarderie (backed by Lori Greiner from Shark Tank) the Third Sister of Destiny in the feature film, Man Freed, a financial planner for Penn Mutual, and many more credits.
Susan is actively involved in consistent training. She trains for TV/Film with Russ Russo at the Monmouth Actor's Studio, learning the Meisner Technique, and the Stanislavsky Method. She has also trained with Master Trainer and former casting director, Robert Russell in NYC for script analysis. Improv classes at Second City, NY and formerly at the Jersey Shore Thing Theater. Susan also trains with John Swanbeck - Get Cinematic Class. Her voice-over coaches include Leonard Dozier and Universal Voice Talent with Terry Daniel and Trish Basanyi.
Off-screen, Susan is a thrill seeker. She has Edge-Walked the CN Tower in Toronto and zip-lined down the Stratosphere in Vegas and is looking for her next thrill. She loves anything to do with adventure and the outdoors, in the summer you can find her on her paddle board. Susan is also a food history nerd and gets a kick out of researching the origin of the beautiful foods that we eat.
Formerly, Susan was a mortgage banker and has a deep understanding of business and financial language and nuances, before mortgage banker, she was a real estate agent. She also spent many years as a bar manager and bartender between Los Angeles and Hoboken, NJ. Susan's first car was a stick shift and she loves to drive a stick in the city or on an open road!
