Christopher Walken made a guest appearance on this week’s “Saturday Night Live,” which just so happened to include Foo Fighters as the musical guest. Fans of the hilarious way Walken introduced Foo Fighters on “SNL” in 2003 were curious to see if the actor would give it another go, and indeed he did — Walken introduced Foo Fighters on this week’s show. Only this time, he put the emphasis on “Foo” instead of “Fighters.”

For the uninitiated, Walken introduced the band as Foo Fighters – with emphasis on the Fighters – in 2003, and the clip eventually went viral for the actor’s unique delivery. As it turns out, this was all Dave Grohl’s doing.

Recounting the event in a 2017 interview, Grohl remembered Walken asking the band how to pronounce their name.

Foo Fighters will give their fans goosebumps of the cinematic kind in February, when the horror comedy “Studio 666,” starring the band, hits theaters.

The film, which is released in the U.S. on Friday, February 25, 2022, was directed by Bj McDonnell (of 2019’s “Slayer: The Repentless Killogy” fame), from a story by Foo frontman Dave Grohl, with a screenplay by Jeff Buhler and Rebecca Hughes. “Studio 666” was acquired by Open Road Films Acquires for worldwide rights, and produced by Roswell Films’ and Therapy Studios’ John Ramsay and James A. Rota.

All six Foos – Grohl, Taylor Hawkins, Nate Mendel, Pat Smear, Chris Shiflett and Rami Jaffee – will act as both executive producers and stars of “Studio 666,” with fellow thespians Whitney Cummings (“Roseanne” show runner), Leslie Grossman (“American Horror Story”), Will Forte (“MacGruber”), Jenna Ortega (the upcoming “Wednesday”) and Jeff Garlin (“Curb Your Enthusiasm”).

It’s the last “Saturday Night Live” of 2017, and you’d think NBC’s perennial sketch show would go out with the bang. Getting Kevin Hart to host and the Foo Fighters as the musical guest is pretty much a case of busting out the big guns, after all.

Unfortunately, this episode of “Saturday Night Live” can barely be considered an extravaganza, and the holiday aspects of it aren’t even memorable or strong enough to use “it’s a holiday episode!” as an excuse.

Linkin Park have taken to Facebook to release their episode of Carpool Karaoke and it's 24-minutes of hilarity with comedian Ken Jeong (Community, Role Models). The episode was posted with the blessing of the family of Chester Bennington and serves as a tribute to the late front man while also highlighting the One More Light Fund that the band set up in honor of Bennington. The One More Light Fund is a non-profit organization, with the mission of spreading more awareness on mental illness and suicide.

As fun as the segment looked, the bandmates admitted that the actual filming wasn't that joyous.

The band rocked out with the Late Late Show host on "Carpool Karaoke" on Wednesday and also had a revelation while talking about how they became one the biggest rock groups in the world.
