Anushka Khanna’s collection called “Boom, Boom, Bloom,” made great fashionable music on the runway at Lakmé Fashion Week Summer/Resort 2014. The designer’s inspiration travelled around the globe and halted in New York where the slips, pyjamas, belted kimono jackets and shorts were seen in summer. Moving to studio 54, Anushka’s jazzy lamé wrap dresses and sexy maxis reflected the look of that era.

The collection dominated by the flower power motif was seen as prints as well as embellishments. A photograph of her mother from the 1970’s was the inspiration for the moody floral hues.

Shah Rukh Khan may have lately been in the news for all the wrong reasons; however now we hear that the actor is back to doing what he does best. News is that Srk is all set to entertain his fans in Muscat as he will be performing there on the eve of Valentine's Day. It is learnt that the actor will perform to an audience of nearly 25,000 on February 13, in a nearly three-hour event called 'Temptations Reloaded'. Apart from Srk, Bollywood beauties Katrina Kaif, Preity Zinta and Anusha Dandekar along with singer-actor Ali Zafar will also be performing.

Mumbai, Dec 16: A bevy of celebrities from the showbiz industry, including actress Lisa Haydon, Tara Sharma and VJ Anusha Dandekar, put on their running shoes here to be a part of Pinkathon 2012, a race to create awareness for breast cancer.

Actress Karisma Kapoor flagged off the race Sunday.

"My mom is a cancer survivor. Her cancer was detected at a very early stage and she survived the disease. I had to be a part of this race," Anusha said.

Pinkathon 2012 has been organised for the first time in Mumbai. It was divided into three categories - 10-km race, 5-km race and 3-km race.

The 10-km run saw 50 female police.

With the kind of work that Karisma Kapoor has got herself immersed in of late, it seems like her diary must be completely full.

The latest event to which she has given her name to is 'Pinkathon 2012', for which she will be flagging-off the run scheduled to take place on December 16. For starters, 'Pinkathon 2012' is a women's run associated with the Women's Cancer Initiative to raise awareness about breast cancer, being conducted for the first time in Mumbai in 3 categories - 10 km, 5 km and 3 km.

Speaking about the event, Karisma said "I think it is very important for women to know about breast cancer, that if detected early it's extremely curable and there is a life beyond that.
