Netflix's New 'Reacher' Replacement Became an Instant Streaming Hit in America

Less than 48 hours after debuting on a new streaming home, this Monica Raymund-led crime drama immediately found success, ranking among the top titles. From Starz to Netflix, Hightown is one of those shows that just can’t be missed thanks to its electric storyline. The series follows Raymund’s character, Jackie Quiñones, a National Marine Fisheries Service Agent in Provincetown, Massachusetts, who suffers from addiction and obsessive behavior. She finds her life turned upside down when she’s pulled into criminal investigations in her community, clashing with a disgraced narcotics sergeant as both struggle with mounting personal and professional turmoil.

About a year after Hightown was unexpectedly removed from Starz, it found a home on Netflix, where it debuted all three seasons on July 23. Now two days later, FlixPatrol reports that the series is #5 on Netflix in the U.S., a spot it has held since yesterday. Other titles...
