Kanak Garg was born in the city of Jodhpur and raised in multiple cities across India. She pursued a BA Honours degree in English Literature at the University of Delhi and moved to Mumbai and completed her Masters in the same.
She initiated her journey in the entertainment industry as a fashion model in the year 2018 and started pursuing acting shortly after. Her acting training includes workshops she has been a part of focusing on the Rasa theory and Sanford Meisner acting technique. She has understudied and performed in a few theatre productions in Bombay and continues to hone her craft.
She shot for her first film 'Unwoman' in 2020 in which she has played the lead protagonist. In 2022 & 2023, she shot for her first international web-show 'Slave Market' in Egypt and Abu Dhabi respectively.
She is also a Consent Advocate and is training to be an Intimacy Coordinator.
