Rhys Graham (b. Penang, Malaysia) is the director and writer of films including features 'Galore' and 'The Turning' (co- director & co-writer) which both had their international premieres at the Berlin Film Festival and the documentary feature films 'murundak - Songs of Freedom' and 'Words from the City' which have won numerous awards between them including the Grand Prix at Seminci. His short film 'Love This Time' also screened at Berlin Film Festival where it was awarded a Special Mention in the Panorama Section. He was a writer and set up director for the Netflix series 'The Unlisted', winner of the 2020 Youth Jury Prize at Prix de Jeunesse and is one of the writers of the Emmy and BAFTA winning series 'The Nowhere Boys'. He has also created installation and screen based works that have been exhibited at the AGNSW, Asia Pacific Triennial and ACMI, and numerous arts festivals. Rhys is in development on the new film 'Paradise' with Aquarius Films and the Madrid based film 'The Garden' written by Andrew Bovell.
