HBO Max is planning to do some more slashing with “Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin” Season 2, and the new season of the horror reboot has now received its official title.

Season 2 is titled “Pretty Little Liars: Summer School,” Deadline reports today.

Deadline also notes that “Original Sin” star Jordan Gonzalez will be back for “Summer School.” The site reminds, “Gonzalez’s Ash is a handsome transgender student at Millwood High and romantic interest to Minnie, played by Malia Pyles.”

Gonzalez’s Ash is a handsome transgender student at Millwood High and romantic interest to Minnie, played by Malia Pyles. The fan-favorite Ash is the first transmasculine character to be introduced in the series.

It won’t be one and done for Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin. HBO Max officially announced they’ve renewed the drama for a second season less than a month after the season one finale aired.

The 10-episode first season debuted on July 28, 2022 and starred Bailee Madison, Chandler Kinney, Zaria, Malia Pyles, Maia Reficco, Mallory Bechtel, Sharon Leal, Elena Goode, Eric Johnson, Alex Aiono, and Lea Salonga. The renewal announcement didn’t confirm who will be returning or when we can expect the second season to arrive.

Executive producer/writer Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa and co-executive producer/writer Lindsay Calhoon Bring created the series, based on Sara Shepard’s bestselling book series.

The lies will continue to mount on HBO Max.

We’re down to just two new episodes left of HBO Max’s Pretty Little Liars Original Sin’s first season and it seems as though the girls have figured out who’s A. Episode nine begins on Sunday, December 11 with Imogen (Bailee Madison) declaring, “So that’s it.” Sidney (Sharon Leal) asks if Karen was pushed and if Tyler’s dead. Tabby (Chandler Kinney) confirms they were murdered by A.

The camera pans out to show all the moms and their daughters gathered to discuss what’s happening. The girls explain who they think A is and that the moms went to school with Joe. He’s the one who sent the creepy gifts and all the cryptic texts.

HBO Max’s Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin episode eight opens with the girls freaking out as they head into their usual decision spot: the ladies room. Episode seven ended with A sending a text with a photo of Tyler, dead. Tabby (Chandler Kinney) admits she thought A would kill Tyler and Mouse (Malia Pyles) begs them to call the police.

Faran (Zaria) wants to forward the photo to the cops but Tabby thinks since A sent it to them, he’d know how the cops got it. Mouse points out that A’s killed at least two people and Faran adds they were all horrible people. Imogen (Bailee Madison) thinks they need to get back to the basics and investigate the sixth signature from the Radley log.

You can't get anything past Pretty Little Liars fans. In the fourth episode of the HBO Max spin-off Original Sin, Noa (Maia Reficco) finds a bottle of oxycodone in her mother Marjorie's (Elena Goode) purse. Once the label on the bottle comes into focus, it's clear that it's not Marjorie's name on the prescription. Instead, it's a name that means an awful lot to fans of the original series: Caleb Rivers. Caleb Rivers was played by Tyler Blackburn on Pretty Little Liars, Rosewood's resident rebel who goes on to marry Hanna (Ashley Benson) at the end of the series. Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin premiered July 28 with a three-part premiere that introduced us to a new generation of liars and by extension, their parents.

The mothers were crucial to the success of the original series, and here, they're more crucial than ever due to the new iteration of A seemingly targeting the girls for the sins of their mothers.

Elena Goode plays Marjorie Olivar, the mother of Noa (Maia Reficco).

When I asked Goode what attracted her to the series, she felt like many aspects were telling her to sign on.

"There are so many aspects of it that make it unique, interesting, thought-provoking, and emotional," Goode shared with TV Fanatic.

"There was so much depth to all of the characters. We're living in this Pretty Little Liars universe, but this is a whole new expression of it."

"And I think what makes it so exciting and so attractive...

With the release of the highly anticipated "Pll" spinoff, "Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin," viewers are being introduced to a whole new setting and characters. This time around, making up the main squad of Liars are six-month-pregnant Spirit Queen Imogen (Bailee Madison); movie aficionado Tabitha "Tabby" (Chandler Kinney); prima ballerina Faran (Zaria Simone); socially awkward Minnie "Mouse" (Malia Pyles); and the track star, Noa (Maia Reficco), who just returned to Millwood following her stay at a juvenile detention center. While everyone has a well-guarded past of their own - the undisclosed identity of Imogen's baby's father and Faran's secret scoliosis diagnosis - Noa's secret is different, because it's not her own.

At this point, it’s kind of difficult to say anything new or different about the concept of reboots, reimaginings, and revivals — especially when the particular intellectual property being rebooted, reimagined, or revived hasn’t been off the air that long. On Wednesday, HBO Max released the trailer for its upcoming series “Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin,” revealing a masked assailant who is hellbent on making a new crop of teenagers pay for sins committed by their parents two decades ago — as well as their own.

The trailer sets the scene at Millwood High School. After experiencing a tragedy, Bailee Madison’s character stands up to her bullies and insists that she’s going to become one of the popular kids.

That is, until “A” arrives. Things start to turn dark as a student is seemingly murdered at the school dance. From there, the girls begin receiving haunting text messages and find themselves being watched at every turn.

Where there are Little Liars, can shady law enforcement be far behind?

Just as the Og fivesome dealt with their share of crooked authority figures back in the day (Detective Holbrook, Agent Tanner, etc.), the ladies of HBO Max’s upcoming Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin will also find themselves up against baddies with badges.

“Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin” will premiere July 28, HBO Max has announced.

The release date was announced via a first look teaser for the series, which shows a mysterious figure cutting up and burning pictures of the five main characters: Imogen (Bailee Madison), Minnie (Malia Pyles), Noa (Maia Reficco), Tabby (Chandler Kinney) and Faran (Zaria).

The new series is a sequel to the original series that focuses on a completely new set of teenagers in the blue-collar town of Millwood, Pa. The five main characters are tormented by someone operating under the identity of “A,” an alias assumed by villains from the original show, who knows the secrets of both the teenagers, and their parents. In addition to the five main characters, the series also stars Mallory Bechtel, Sharon Leal, Elena Goode, Lea Salonga, Eric Johnson, and Alex Aiono.

Just when you thought “A” was finally gone…the anonymous assailant is terrorizing a new group of girls.

HBO Max dropped a teaser for “Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin” on Wednesday, and it looks like moving the franchise to a streamer has made it even more creepy. The teaser begins with someone opening a jewelry box, as a music box version of the “Pretty Little Liars” theme begins to play.

Gloved hands (presumably belonging to “A”) pin a police report and a few photos to a cork board. The the music quickly becomes distorted, and a demonic voice whispers the familiar words: “Got a secret, can you keep it?”

As the music descends into madness, the gloved hands slice a portrait of Bailee Madison in half and shred a missing persons report for another girl named Minnie “Mouse” Honrada. The trailer ends on another ominous lyric from the theme song:...

A new generation of Pretty Little Liars gets underway next month.

HBO Max announced Wednesday that Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin will touch down Thursday, July 28.

Three new episodes will be available on premiere day, with two new episodes each on August 4 and 11 and the final three episodes debuting August 18.

It's not a bad rollout strategy.

The original series suffered from spoon-feeding the answers over the course of massive seasons.

Dropping more than one episode a week should be enough to keep fans satisfied.

Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin will debut its ten-episode season on July 28 with three episodes. Two new episodes will follow on August 4 and 11, with the final three episodes debuting August 18.

Executive produced and written by Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa (Riverdale) and co-executive produced and written by Lindsay Calhoon Bring (Chilling Adventures of Sabrina), the dark, teen melodrama introduces a new generation of Liars who are tormented by A — a masked killer hellbent on punishing them for the sins of their mothers, as well as their own.

The New York International Latino Film Festival (Nyilff),the premier Latino film festival in the country, opens its 13th edition with Filly Brown, starring breakout actress Gina Rodriguez (Go For It, Our Family Wedding), and closes with Lemon, the raw story of three-time felon and one-time Tony Award-winner, spoken word artist Lemon Andersen.

The festival kicks off on Monday, August 13 with a 15th anniversary presentation of Selena at Cinema Under The Stars, a free outdoor screening at St. Nicholas Park in uptown Manhattan.

Special Events include a World Premiere exclusive screening of The Girl Is In Trouble, attended by stars Wilmer Valderrama and Columbus Short, and will include a Q&A.
