After playing a key role in the original Netflix Daredevil series - as well as Jessica Jones and The Punisher - fans were surprised not to see Detective Sergeant Brett Mahoney return for Daredevil: Born Again.
Mahoney was determined to remain honest in a department full of dirty cops, and even though he was against Daredevil's (Charlie Cox) vigilante methods, he aided Matt Murdock and Foggy Nelson in their cases and ultimately came to see the Man Without Fear as a force for good.
Mahoney was instrumental in putting Wilson Fisk (Vincent D'Onofrio) behind bars towards the end of season 3.
Now, fitness coach Naqam Washington has pretty much confirmed that actor Royce Johnson will reprise the role for season 2 of Born Again, which recently wrapped production in New York.

Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 will feature another fan-favorite vigilante alongside the titular character. Ever since it was confirmed that Krysten Ritter would reprise her role as Jessica Jones alongside Defenders alum Charlie Cox, fans have been anxious to learn more about the long-awaited return. It seems her MCU debut will be as exciting as promised, while still feeling familiar to those who love the tone of the Netflix Marvel era.
During an interview with ScreenRant, Krysten Ritter was asked about her role in Daredevil: Born Again Season 2. Not only did she confirm that she will indeed put on Jessica Jones' signature boots again, but that fans of the Netflix shows will feel at home with the "gritty" second season. The extent of her role has not been revealed thus far, but it seems the Jessica Jones star is more than elated with how Born Again is treating the character.

Earlier this year, we finally got confirmation that Krysten Ritter will be reprising her role as Jessica Jones for the second season of Daredevil: Born Again, and the actress has now teased her return as the hard-drinking Pi during an interview with Screen Rant.
As you might expect, Ritter didn't get into plot details, simply noting that she is "thrilled to be back in Jessica's boots. There's more story for her and it's really exciting."
"Oh, it's gritty," she added. "It feels big too. The crew's amazing. I've had an amazing experience. I can't say anything, but I love being with Charlie [Cox]. It was as if no time had passed. Like, my first day, I was looking around like we're back. But juxtaposing it with Mia [her Dexter Resurrection character] and Jessica has been really creatively fulfilling for me as an artist and just what a big, big banner year I'm having. I...

Well, it looks like that might be it for Daredevil: Born Again set photos for a while. Showrunner Dario Scardapane has taken to Instagram to confirm that shooting has wrapped on the upcoming second season. Reshoots are always possible, but it will now move into post-production.
When Daredevil: Born Again was first announced by Marvel Studios, it was as an 18-episode series. That was soon broken up into two seasons, though we'd later learn that season 2 will consist of 8 episodes rather than 9.
As for a potential season 3, that's been talked about but isn't likely to be confirmed until Disney+ sees how the second batch of episodes performs.
Here's what Scardapane had to say about wrapping shooting on Daredevil: Born Again season 2:
"And that is a Wrap on Season 2 of Daredevil Born Again. Thank you to all who made this something truly special. Charlie Cox, Vincent D’Onofrio, Deborah Ann Woll,...

Daredevil: Born Again Star Vincent D'Onofrio Hits Back At Fan Who Claims Disney Has "Nerfed" Kingpin
Daredevil: Born Again was originally planned as a fresh start for the Man Without Fear. Like the Dcu, the series was set to keep some of the same actors as Netflix's Daredevil, but largely ignore what came before. Then, the creative overhaul happened.
The Disney+ series essentially became Daredevil season 4, bringing back characters who were previously going to be shelved, including Karen Page and Foggy Nelson.
In Daredevil: Born Again, Wilson Fisk becomes Mayor and takes over the city. In the finale, he crushes the NYPD Commissioner's head with his bare hands, arguably the goriest scene ever seen in the MCU.
Despite that, one fan recently told Vincent D'Onofrio on X that Disney has "nerfed" his version of the Kingpin of Crime. As you might expect, the actor didn't concur.
"I have to say disagree with all that you say. To be honest, my performances have been called many things but never nerfed,...

We already knew that Daredevil: Born Again was shaping up to be a very different show prior to the much-discussed creative overhaul, but it sounds like original showrunners Matt Corman and Chris Ord (and likely some studio higher-ups) were more determined to distance the Disney+ revival from its Netflix predecessor than we realized.
While speaking to Awards Radar, editor Stephanie Filo revealed that she and others who worked on the show were told not to watch Netflix's Daredevil.
“The original take on it was to lean away from the Netflix Daredevil show. They actually told us not to watch the Netflix show, because they didn’t want to affect how we were editing it. Once we restructured everything and figured out we would do a different take on it, we dove back into the Netflix side of things. We were able to use temp music from that Netflix series, and...

On Friday, we learned Jon Bernthal will reprise his role as The Punisher in Spider-Man: Brand New Day. We last saw the actor in action as Frank Castle in Daredevil: Born Again, while a Special Presentation is also planned for the vigilante.
As we write this, Bernthal hasn't been announced for Daredevil: Born Again season 2, making it more likely that the aforementioned Special Presentation will bridge the gap between the two MCU projects.
How is Spider-Man: Brand New Day going to deal with Mayor Fisk's takeover of New York? Perhaps it won't.
Every Daredevil: Born Again season 2 set photo and video has shown Matt Murdock and Karen Page incognito and keeping their heads down, thanks to the Anti-Vigilante Task Force patrolling the Big Apple. However, our latest look at the series features the duo looking very happy and clearly no longer in hiding.

Jessica Jones star Krysten Ritter has long been rumoured to make her MCU debut, but it was confirmed last month that she'll finally reprise the role in Daredevil: Born Again season 2.
She-Hulk: Attorney at Law and Echo seemed likely possibilities once upon a time, and it was widely reported that Ritter came close to shooting a cameo for the latter. Unfortunately, that was scrapped when it became a standalone "Marvel Spotlight" series (whatever happened to that branding?).
Following the largely disappointing second and third seasons of Jessica's solo series, fans are excited to see Ritter get another chance courtesy of Marvel Studios. However, there may be much more to her MCU future than a supporting turn in Daredevil: Born Again.
According to scooper Daniel Richtman, Marvel Studios is considering developing a new Jessica Jones TV series. We'd imagine that hinges on the success of the Man Without Fear...

Daredevil: Born Again was the Daredevil season 3 that most fans wanted, but if that was good, then it feels like the next batch of episodes will be great.
Showrunner Dario Scardapane will be in full control for Daredevil: Born Again season 2, meaning the series should feel more like the premiere and final two episodes than the truncated Muse arc or divisive bank robbery (which even Charlie Cox hated).
New photos from the show's New York set have surfaced today, this time showing Cox and Krysten Ritter on set (presumably before getting into costume as Matt Murdock and Jessica Jones). Michael Gandolfini, who plays Daniel Blake, was also spotted, suggesting these three might share the screen at some point.
If so, that feels like it could be a huge moment, hence the spoiler tag above. Could it be that Blake is finally realising that the Kingpin of Crime is not the...

The first season of Daredevil: Born Again ended with the Man Without Fear readying his few allies to take down Mayor Wilson Fisk and free New York. However, he's gonna need more than just Karen Page and a few honest cops to do so.
Last month, we learned that Krysten Ritter will reprise her role as Jessica Jones in season 2. We haven't seen her play the character since Jessica Jones ended with its third batch of episodes on Netflix in 2019, so she becomes the second Defender to join the MCU.
A new look at Ritter in costume as the hard-boiled P.I. has been revealed today, and it's as if she hasn't aged a day. The actor is expected to have a major role as Jessica in Daredevil: Born Again season 2, and like Jon Bernthal's Punisher, there's every chance she'll get a spin-off of her own down the line.

Last month, it was confirmed that Krysten Ritter will reprise her role as Jessica Jones in season 2. She's since been spotted on set (you can see those snaps below), and Charlie Cox has broken his silence on reteaming with his Defenders co-star in an interview with Deadline.
"There’s a mutual respect for one another," he teased. "She finds him overly serious and too much of a choir boy, and he finds her to be crass and making light of too many serious situations; she’s more antihero than hero."
However, Cox has one big question about their reunion, which Daredevil: Born Again may or may not answer.

Season 2 of Daredevil: Born Again is still filming in New York, and both Mike Colter (Luke Cage) and Finn Jones (Danny Rand/Iron Fist) recently confirmed that they are currently in the Big Apple via respective social media posts.
Now, Colter has shared a more direct hint that he may be set to return as Luke Cage for the second season of the Disney+ revival series by posting an image of his character to his Instagram Stories.
We know that Krysten Ritter will be back as Jessica Jones, so it only makes sense that the Man Without Fear (Charlie Cox) would enlist more of his fellow Defenders for back-up.

Daredevil: Born Again season 2 will see the Man Without Fear assemble a team of vigilantes to take the fight to the villainous Mayor Fisk. He'll once again have Karen Page by his side, a character who originally wasn't set to appear in the Disney+ revival.
The creative overhaul added the Daredevil star to the premiere and finale, and a newly surfaced set photo shows Deborah Ann Woll's fan favourite reporter looking quite a bit different. This isn't the first time we've seen her in disguise, but has she become a costumed vigilante?
Another recent set photo showed the new White Tiger, and nearby was a woman who had her face covered with a red mask. We now know that was Karen, leading to speculation among fans that she's also about to "suit up" as a costumed vigilante.

Daredevil: Born Again season 2 is still filming in New York, and a new set photo reveals a first look at Camila Rodriguez suited up as the McU's new White Tiger.
Her uncle, Hector Ayala, was shot and killed by Detective Cole North, a member of Mayor Fisk's Anti-Vigilante Task Force, after Matt Murdock cleared his name in court. In the season 1 finale, there was a hint that Angela might pick up where he left off, and that's been confirmed by this latest snap.
It's clearly a homemade costume, though we'd bet that her mask is made from the remnants of Hector's suit.
Angela does look to be wearing the magic amulet that gave her uncle powers, and we'd be shocked if Daredevil doesn't take her under his wing in season 2. The Man Without Fear was also a mentor to the comic book White Tiger. However, that version of Angela...

Though the show certainly had its share of detractors, Daredevil: Born Again was a big hit with critics (87% on Rotten Tomatoes), and seemed to be embraced by the majority of fans as one of Marvel's better Disney+ efforts.
We had also been led to believe that the Man Without Fear's revival series did pretty good numbers for the streaming service, but this doesn't seem to be the case.
Daredevil: Born Again has become the first live-action Marvel Studios series not to make Nielsen's Top 10 Original Streaming Shows List. The only other Marvel streaming titles to fail to find their way onto the list were animated.

We recently got confirmation that Krysten Ritter would be making her return as Jessica Jones for the second season of Daredevil: Born Again, and the actress was spotted filming scenes alongside co-star Charlie Cox in these latest set photos.
Miss Jones hasn't updated her wardrobe since we last saw her on Netflix, and is still rocking the signature blue jeans and leather jacket combo. Cox, meanwhile, is sporting the Man Without Fear's back costume with the red "Dd" chest logo.
The Defenders had its share of issues, but the often contentious relationship between Jones and Daredevil was a definite highlight, so it should be interesting to revisit their dynamic in the MCU.

By now, we're sure the majority of you have seen Daredevil: Born Again, but just in case, here's your spoiler warning.
Matt Murdock's long-time friend and partner Foggy Nelson (Elden Henson) was assassinated by Bullseye in the pilot episode, prompting Murdock to hang up the horns... until he's compelled to suit-up again to battle crime and corruption in New York City later on in the season.
The decision to kill off such a beloved character did not sit well with some fans, but Cox believes it was necessary to "shake things up" a bit and give the story some genuine stakes.
"The awful thing that happens in Born Again, that was the gift for me as the actor, was the death of Foggy. I mean, tragic in terms of the show loses an element that, I think, was the heartbeat of Daredevil," said Cox during a new interview with SAG-AFTRA.

Star Jon Bernthal will co-write the script with his We Own This City director Reinaldo Marcus Green, who is also on board to helm the Special.

Winderbaum went on to reveal that the idea for a Punisher standalone story manifested during production on Born Again, which saw Matt Murdock team-up with his old frenemy to take down members of Wilson Fisk's anti-vigilante task force.

Following the events of the season 1 finale, we do have a pretty good idea why Jones will make her presence felt.

When The Conjuring and Outer Range star Lili Taylor was announced as being part of the Daredevil: Born Again cast, it was said that she'd be a political foil to Vincent D'Onofrio's Mayor Wilson Fisk.
Talking to Rural Intelligence about her new book, Turning to Birds: The Power and Beauty of Noticing, Taylor spilt the beans on her role. "I’m the Governor, which is great," the actor confirmed. The New York Governor was mentioned in the season 1 finale, though Commissioner Gallo never managed to reach her (what with the Kingpin crushing his head and all).
Taylor would go on to say that her scenes take place primarily in Albany. "I know Albany, and I know the politics there. We’ve got a set for inside, and then we did the outside at this really nice place in Tarrytown—that was the governor’s house."

Daredevil: Born Again Star Charlie Cox Officially Reveals Whether He'll Appear In Avengers: Doomsday
When Charlie Cox first starred in Daredevil, Marvel Television was a (mostly) separate entity from Marvel Studios. That meant the odds of his Man Without Fear showing up in theaters were slim (though it didn't stop fans hoping the Defenders might walk through one of Avengers: Endgame's portals).
Cox has since been brought into the MCU, appearing in Spider-Man: No Way Home, She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, and Echo, before taking centre stage in Daredevil: Born Again earlier this year.
Marvel Studios' approach to its streaming offerings has changed over the past year or two, and it seems there will be a more definitive line between big and small screen characters. As a result, Matt Murdock may remain solely on Disney+ rather than swinging into Avengers: Doomsday and Spider-Man: Brand New Day, for example.

Matthew Lillard is no stranger to franchise fare, and he'll make his MCU debut in Daredevil: Born Again season 2. So far, the actor is the biggest new addition to the Disney+ series, though there's no word on who the actor is playing.
Lillard is used to keeping secrets; he'll return as Stu in Scream 6 and will similarly rise from the dead in the Five Nights at Freddy's sequel.
Talking to ComicBook.com, the screen icon was asked what he could share about his Daredevil: Born Again role. "It’s Marvel, so nothing," he said with a laugh. "I think that Marvel clamps down even harder than Star Wars, but I will say I am in the universe."
"It’s kind of a small role right now," Lillard added, "but hopefully people like it, and they bring him back in some capacity." So, we know he survives and is a character...

Daredevil: Born Again has resumed filming in New York, and we now have another round of set photos from the show's upcoming second season.
It appears Daredevil (Charlie Cox) and Bullseye (Wilson Bethel) are teaming up, perhaps becoming unlikely allies in a New York now ruled over by Mayor Wilson Fisk with an iron fist. It's not like the Man Without Fear hasn't worked with a killer before (see: The Punisher).
These photos reveal a new look at the bullseye logo that's been added to the villain's mask, and more changes to Daredevil's suit. We previously theorised that he paints his red suit black, and it seems that's wearing off as time passes.
Previous set photos only showed glimmers of red, whereas there are now large patches coming through. Fortunately, the iconic "Dd" logo remains.

Though it does seem to be a small minority of fans, Marvel Television's Daredevil: Born Again has received backlash for propagating a "woke agenda." The main reasons for this seem to stem from the perception that the show is anti-conservative and anti-cop, while also sidelining established characters such as Foggy Nelson and Karen Page in favor of more diverse supporting players.
One fan is under the impression that season 2 of the Disney+ revival series is going to double-down on the wokeness, and tagged star Vincent D'Onofrio (Wilson Fisk) in an X post.
The actor was having none of it!
This is absolute nonsense," D'Onofrio replied. "We are not doubling down on any such thing. This statement is just not so. If there was any truth to it, i think I would know. We are telling Daredevil stories. We are not pushing any agenda other than making a Kick ass superhero drama.

With all nine episodes of Daredevil: Born Again now streaming on Disney+, Marvel Television has released what we assume will be the final character poster for the series, with Frank Castle, aka The Punisher (Jon Bernthal), getting the spotlight.
Castle didn't have a huge role in Born Again, but he certainly made an impact, teaming up with the Man Without Fear (Charlie Cox) in the finale to unleash hell on Kingpin's (Vincent D'Onofrio) Avtf.
Towards the end of "Straight to Hell," the Punisher decides to take on Mayor Wilson Fisk's forces alone. After brutally dispatching a number of corrupt cops, Castle is overwhelmed (whether he always planned to be captured is up for debate) and locked in one of Kingpin's holding cells.
In the post-credits sequence, Frank tricks his guard into approaching the cage before pulling his arm through the bars and snapping it. This will presumably facilitate Frank getting out of his cell,...

The season finale of Daredevil: Born Again is now streaming, and the episode featured a post-credits scene that many fans have assumed will lead directly into the planned Punisher Special Presentation that was recently announced.
Spoilers follow.
Towards the end of "Straight to Hell," Frank Castle (Jon Bernthal) decides to take on Mayor Wilson Fisk's anti-vigilante task force (Avtf) alone. After brutally dispatching a number of cops, the Punisher is overwhelmed (whether he always planned to be captured is up for debate) and locked in one of Kingpin's holding cells.
In the post-credits sequence, Castle tricks his seriously gullible guard into approaching the cage before pulling his arm through the bars and snapping it. This will presumably facilitate Frank getting out of his cell, but is escape his only concern? Does the Punisher intend to put an end to Fisk once and for all?

Daredevil: Born Again did not shy away from depictions of on-screen violence, but this week's season finale really upped the ante with a scene so shockingly brutal that it must immediately rank among the most horrific TV deaths of all time.
Spoilers follow.
After learning that Commissioner Gallo is planning to betray him, Mayor Wilson Fisk grabs the unfortunate cop's head between his hands and mercilessly crushes his skull, tearing his jaw clean off in the process.
In a new featurette, actors Vincent D'Onofrio (Kingpin) and Charlie Cox (Matt Murdock) discuss the scene along with EP/directors Aaron Moorhead and Justin Benson, and EP Sana Amanat.
Moorhead also drops a hint about what fans can expect to see in season 2, which he describes as "the French Resistance."
"There needed to be an ultimate scene of Kingpin."

The first season of Marvel's Daredevil: Born Again wrapped up this week with an action-packed finale that set the stage for the currently-shooting second season.
Spoilers for "Straight to Hell" follow.
After realizing that he'll need "an army" to take on Mayor Wilson Fisk and his forces, Matt Murdock assembles what few allies he has at Josie's Bar to plan their next movie. It's fair to say that The Man Without Fear's team is still a little outgunned, but we have heard rumors about some old friends joining the effort to defend the city in season 2.
While speaking to EW, showrunner Dario Scardapane was asked about the chances of seeing Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, and/or Danny Rand in the second season. He didn't confirm anything outright, but did drop some hints that Daredevil will be joined by some other "superheroes" in his battle against the Kingpin.

Elodie Yung played Elektra Natchios in season 2 of Netflix's defunct Daredevil series, before returning for The Defenders. Though her take on the lethal assassin was well-received by fans, many felt her arc was mishandled, and that Yung wasn't really given a proper chance to shine in the role.
Several main cast members from the Netflix show returned for Disney+'s Daredevil: Born Again, but Yung was not among them. Would she have any interest in reprising the role for the currently shooting second season?

The season finale of Daredevil: Born Again, "Straight To Hell," is now streaming on Disney+, and Marvel Television's revival series certainly wrapped-up in memorable fashion.
Among other things, the episode featured a long-awaited team-up between the Man Without Fear (Charlie Cox) and the Punisher (Jon Bernthal), the return of Karen Page (Deborah Ann Woll), and Wilson Fisk (Vincent D'Onofrio) committing by far the most brutally violent murder in MCU history.
The final scene also laid the groundwork for an all-out war between Kingpin's Avta and Daredevil's allies (rumor has it he'll be joined by some old friends to help him defend the city in season 2).
The show has been met with a positive reception overall, but certain episodes were definitely better-received than others, and some fans seem to feel that Born Again never quite managed to reach the same heights as the original Netflix series.

Daredevil: Born Again's Finale Score Might Have Confirmed Plans For A Future Team-Up With Spider-Man
Daredevil: Born Again delivered a thrilling finale, but many fans are understandably disappointed that the only other vigilante who appeared was The Punisher.
Jessica Jones, Echo, and Spider-Man were all likely contenders to help Matt Murdock turn the tide against Mayor Wilson Fisk. Heck, if the latter never shows up for a clash with the Kingpin of Crime, then what kind of Friendly Neighbourhood superhero is he, really?
The hope among fans is that Daredevil could swing into Spider-Man: Brand New Day for a team-up, even if it's just a brief one. While we've already explained why Peter Parker showing up on streaming isn't likely, did the Daredevil: Born Again finale cleverly tease their future meeting?
A clip from the episode has been receiving a lot of attention for including what seems to be a nod to the web-slinger's theme from the Spider-Man movies. The similarities are impossible to...

Daredevil: Born Again Stunt Coordinator Reveals Awesome New Behind-The-Scenes Photos From The Finale
Daredevil: Born Again's first season wrapped up earlier this week, and it did so in an explosive, bloody fashion. Heads were crushed, martial law was enacted, and The Punisher was unleashed for some of the McU's most badass action scenes.
Today, Stunt Coordinator Philip J Silvera has shared some awesome behind-the-scenes photos and footage from "Straight to Hell." Those showcase the Man Without Fear's team-up with Frank Castle and The Punisher's clash with the dirty cops who worship him.
Silvera previously worked on Netflix's Daredevil and, when the creative overhaul happened, new showrunner Dario Scardapane brought him back to ensure this revival kicked plenty of butt.
The veteran stuntman also served as Second Unit Director on Daredevil: Born Again and recently talked to The Credits about how he approaches action scenes when dealing with a blind superhero.
"There’s always a different way we approach each of the characters.

Marvel Studios has released a new TV spot for Daredevil: Born Again, and if you've yet to watch the season 1 finale, you might be better off giving this a miss.
It's not the only new content we have for you today, though, as Hasbro has unveiled its Punisher action figure from the Marvel Legends line. The likeness is excellent, and we'd imagine Hot Toys will also reveal its take on Jon Bernthal's Frank Castle in due course.
Finally, we have some Funko Pop figures showcasing several characters from the Disney+ series. Those include Daredevil, Matt Murdock, Bullseye, the Kingpin of Crime, and The Punisher.
Variety recently spoke with Vincent D'Onofrio and asked the actor whether Mayor Fisk should watch his back with Frank potentially gunning for him.

We've known for a while now that work is underway on Daredevil: Born Again season 2, and following last night's season 1 finale, stars Charlie Cox and Vincent D'Onofrio have shared a message with fans from the show's set.
In that, a battered and bloody D'Onofrio reveals that they're currently filming in Fogwell's Gym. Not only is this where Battlin' Jack Murdock used to fight, but it's a location we saw Matt Murdock train at during Netflix's Daredevil.
Set photos have confirmed that this will be the location of a charity boxing match with the Kingpin taking on someone called "Matter Horn." Later images revealed Daredevil locking horns with an old foe.
Here's what Cox and D'Onofrio had to say about what's to come for Daredevil and the Kingpin:

You know what they say about old habits. The entire first season of “Daredevil: Born Again” has seen Matt Murdock/Daredevil (Charlie Cox) and Wilson Fisk/Kingpin trying (admittedly not very hard) not to slip into previous patterns, but the Season 1 finale brings them firmly back to square one — and to the truth of who they are.
Written by Aaron Moorhead & Justin Benson and directed by Heather Bellson & Dario Scardapane, “Straight to Hell” charts every character’s descent in the fateful hours after Matt gets shot — and yes, that’s every character including New York City itself. Mayor Fisk is flying high after cheating death once again, and it launches his power into newly unchecked but familiarly tyrannical territory.
First, he pulls the trigger on a citywide blackout (“send in our friend from ConEd”) in which the anti-vigilante task force reigns terror. Any violence or looting that took place without...

With Daredevil: Born Again season one in the books, Marvel Studios has released seven awesome new stills from last night's finale, offering a fresh look at some of the episode's key moments.
In the photos, we get multiple shots of The Punisher's (Jon Bernthal) return, who has arrived just in the nick of time to help Daredevil (Charlie Cox) get out of a bind. It doesn't spoil the episode's other big return, so we won't either.
Then, we also see Wilson (Vincent D'Onofrio) and Vanessa (Ayelet Zurer) share a dinner, and the Kingpin barking out orders to a room full of stunned staff, including Daniel Blake (Michael Gandolfini), Sheila Rivera (Zabryna Guevera), Arty Froushan (Buck Cashman) and Commisioner Phil Gallo (Michael Gaston).
Actress Margarita Levieva (Heather Glenn) also shared a batch of behind-the-scenes stills from the final two episodes, giving us a considerably more light-hearted view of the season's darkest hours yet.

We've already broken down the epic Daredevil: Born Again season 1 finale (you can find that and more under our Daredevil tab), but there are a couple of moments we want to take a closer look at this morning.
For starters, we finally know what the Kingpin of Crime has planned for Red Hook Pier and why becoming New York's Mayor was a crucial part of that.
Vanessa Fisk has already been using Red Hook's free port status to launder millions. However, the Kingpin has a plan to turn those millions into billions by essentially creating his own nation state, free of any oversight from both New York and the United States Government.
It's going to be fascinating to see how that plays out heading into season 2, as is the fact that White Tiger's killer has been revealed. Yes, it was Detective Cole North who pulled the trigger, though he...

Daredevil: Born Again Season 1 Finale Features The McU's Bloodiest, Goriest Scene Ever - See It Here
Daredevil: Born Again earned its TV-ma rating in "Straight to Hell" with a horrific death scene that's gorier and bloodier than anything we've ever seen in the MCU...or perhaps any comic book adaptation, for that matter.
With Commissioner Gallo plotting against Mayor Fisk, the Kingpin of Crime's Anti-Vigilante Task Force brings the honest cop before their boss. The villain then proceeds to crush Gallo's skull with his bare hands in front of them.
Gallo's jaw is snapped off in the process, and not even Deadpool & Wolverine delivered anything quite this horrific. However, while the scene is gratuitously violent, it also reminds us of what a monster Fisk is and makes it all the more pressing that Daredevil find a way to take him down.
The scene is so grotesque that X is blocking embeds and suspending accounts that share it; however, you can watch a Gif version by clicking here.

The season finale of Daredevil: Born Again is now streaming on Disney+, so let's dive right in!
Following Matt Murdock's (Charlie Cox) shocking decision last week to take a bullet for the Kingpin (Vincent D'Onofrio), the episode kicks off with a flashback to Vanessa Fisk (Ayelet Zurer) paying a visit to Benjamin Poindexter (Wilson Bethel) and making him an offer. She'll set him free if he does her a favor... cue the credits!
Cut back to the present, and we find Matt being treated for his gunshot wound, finally regaining consciousness. Heather (Margarita Levieva) and Kirsten (Nikki M. James) are there, but he calls out Karen's name first, which doesn't go unnoticed by his new girlfriend.
As Murdock comes to his senses, he tells Kirsten that Vanessa ordered the hit on Foggy. The two lawyers try to remember Foggy's old case and why it would have caught Vanessa's eye,...

Warning: The article contains major spoilers for the finale of “Daredevil: Born Again.”
The first season of “Daredevil: Born Again” saved its bloodiest episode for last, and that’s saying a lot. The season opened with the death of a major character and featured no shortage of violence, including the terrifying reign of terror by Muse (Hunter Doohan), a serial killer who uses his victim’s blood as paint.
The finale features an epic Daredevil (Charlie Cox) and Punisher (Jon Bernthal) team-up that results in insane levels of arterial spray, and yet the bloodletting pales in comparison to the episode’s most shocking moment: the brutal demise of Commissioner Gallo (Michael Gaston).
All season long, Gallo proved to be a thorn in the side of Wilson Fisk (Vincent D’Onofrio), culminating in a final confrontation that saw Gallo unwittingly summoned to his doom. It’s a pivotal moment, not just for...

We're just hours away from Daredevil: Born Again's season 1 finale hitting Disney+. Like the pilot and eighth instalment, the last episode was written, directed, and produced by the show's new creative team, meaning it will have a very different feel from those middle chapters.
However, that's not a bad thing and "Straight to Hell" is an epic conclusion that we promise will leave your jaw on the floor.
Unlike Marvel Studios' movies, not every MCU TV series has included a post-credits scene. Secret Invasion, for example, didn't even tease The Marvels, but as that blockbuster largely ignored the show, it ultimately wasn't an overly surprising decision.
Production is already underway on Daredevil: Born Again season 2, so does the season 1 finale include a stinger setting up what's next for the Man Without Fear?
While we can't get into spoilers quite yet, we can confirm that, yes, Daredevil: Born Again has One post-credits scene.

The season 1 finale of Daredevil: Born Again is set to stream on Disney+ tomorrow night, and if you'd like some idea of what to expect without any big reveals, you'll find a spoiler-free preview below.
We won't be sharing any major details about this week's episode, but there will be full spoilers for last Tuesday's instalment, "Isle of Joy."
Last week, Matt Murdock discovered that it was Vanessa Fisk that hired Bullseye to kill Foggy Nelson before jumping in front of her husband, Mayor Wilson Fisk, and taking Dex's bullet through the chest. Meanwhile, Bb Urich managed to convince Chief Gallo to help her bring the Kingpin down.
In the season finale, "Straight to Hell," a still recovering Man Without Fear joins forces with two old allies and attempts to put a stop to Kingpin's Avtf as Mayor Fisk fully reverts to Kingpin mode. The episode also contains an incredibly shocking moment of violence,...

Do we now have confirmation that Krysten Ritter will return as Jessica Jones for the second season of Daredevil: Born Again? Not exactly, but the actress has dropped what might be her biggest hint yet that she is set to reprise her roles as the Man Without Fear's fellow Defender.
Though we had been led to believe that Netflix's Marvel shows were no longer considered canon when Marvel Studios announced brand-new MCU content would be developed for the Disney+ streaming service, things clearly changed after Matt Murdock's (Charlie Cox) brief cameo in Spider-Man: No Way Home.
Wilson Fisk (Vincent D'Onofrio) later returned for a memorable role in the Echo series, and Daredevil: Born Again has essentially served as a fourth season of Netflix's original Dd show.
It also sounds as if there could be plans in place for the rest of the Defenders.
While speaking to EW in a recent interview,...
