Two 4 One | aGLIFF Review - aGLIFF 2015

Bradley could have easily taken this story in a comedic freak show direction, showing Adam navigate the world as a visibly pregnant transgendered man, goatee and all. Instead, she gracefully avoids that part of the narrative, dealing solely with the time before Adam begins to show.

Congrats to 'Two 4 One,' Indiewire's Project of the Week!
Maureen Bradley
Thanks to your votes, the unconventional pregnancy story "Two 4 One," won this weekend’s Project of the Week contest! Congratulations to “Two 4 One" director Maureen Bradley. The filmmaker will receive a digital distribution consultation from SnagFilms and the film is now officially a candidate for Project of the Month. That winner will be awarded with a consultation from the Sundance Institute. Here's what the project's about: Adam gets a frantic call from his psycho ex. She wants moral support while she inseminates with donor sperm—but she gets a lot more. We discover Adam is transgendered while at a consultation for phalloplasty where he discovers he’s accidently pregnant. But Adam is becoming a man and men don’t get pregnant. So obviously he’ll get rid of it. But just as he’s about to, Miriam miscarries. She can’t have a baby. Adam is holding her only hope at family.
