Biography

    • A proud Brazilian, Dayandra grew up studying Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu until she found her true calling after performing for the first time. She is known for her emotional range, comedic talents, and dramatic depth. Raised in a small Midwestern town in Indiana, her love for acting blossomed as a way for her to use her voice. She became a passionate advocate for equality and representation in the arts. In a world so filled with hate, her guiding principle as an artist is to cultivate love, empathy, and understanding through the stories that she helps bring to life.

She received her BFA in Acting, interned at Kenny Leon's True Colors Theatre Company in Atlanta, Georgia, completed the Film and Television Intensive with the Stella Adler Art of Acting Studio in Los Angeles, and continues her studies at UCB and Stan Kirsch Studios. She toured throughout New York with The Rev Theatre Company and won Best Supporting Actor in a Drama/Dramedy in Lime Arts Production's 20-by-20 Fringe Festival. She is based out of Los Angeles and continues to pursue her craft both on and off stage. She aims to continue to break barriers, spread positivity, and connect various communities through her work. When not performing, you can find her painting, making silly voices, reading fantasy novels, and engaging in a fierce discussion about superheroes.
