Cannes: Well Go USA Lands N.A. Rights To ‘On The Job’
Well Go USA Entertainment acquired all North American rights to Erik Matti’s On The Job, a Filipino crime action-thriller, ahead of its world premiere in Directors’ Fortnight on Friday. The film is set for a fall 2013 theatrical release. Written by Matti and Michiko Yamamoto, On The Job was inspired by a real-life corruption scandal involving the temporary release of inmates so they could work as contract killers for crooked politicians. 'Twilight' - The Filipino Version
Actors Rayver Cruz and Shaina Magdayao are set to portray Edward Cullen and Isabella Swan in the Filipino version of Twilight which will air on a local Filipino TV channel. Production begins as early as February and they will be filming in the Philippines and abroad. The movie will be called Takipsilim which literally translates to Sunset in English. Below is the press release for the movieRayver Cruz will star as Edward Cullen and Shaina Magdayao as Isabella Swan in the local television version Twilight. The hit vampire novel has been bought by Abscbn has bought for more than US1 million with Ignite Media as co producer. The taping is set to start next year by Feb. in Baguio Tagaytay Bukidnon with some parts to be shot abroad. "Twilight" To Be Adapted Into A Philippine TV Series
Because it's so popular right now, the vampire flick "Twilight" is being adapted into a Philippine TV series, with teen stars Rayver Cruz and Shaina Magdayao playing the lead parts.

The Stephanie Meyer novel has been bought by TV network Abs-cbn with Ignite Media for more than million for the upcoming "fantaserye" show. The working is "Takipsilim," which is a tagalong word for twilight.

This will be a reunion for Cruz and Magdayao, both 19, who were love team partners in the earlier stage of their careers. They are getting the roles of Edward Cullen (Robert Pattinson in the Hollywood film version) Isabella Swan (Kristen Stewart).

"Box office director" Cathy Garcia Molina is set to helm the series.
