Netflix's 'Surviving Paradise: A Family Tale' Africa Nature Doc Trailer
Regé-Jean Page
"It's the bonds within the pride, the pack, and the herd, that allow each member to succeed." Netflix has debuted an official trailer for another nature documentary titled Surviving Paradise: A Family Tale, all about the animals of the Okavango Delta. The delta is a vast oasis, isolated from the rest of the world by unforgiving desert, found in Botswana in the middle of Africa (check Google Maps). This film explores the blueprints for building the perfect world, managing it sustainably, and maintaining it – despite extremes of drought, famine, and flood. Most crucially, the film exciting will spotlight those passing the secret formula on to their descendents. Sounds like it's a bit more than just your usual discovery channel film! The “Okavango” team will film a seasonal cycle on the delta, using aerial and underwater photography. The final film will be told through the eyes of indigenous river people of the Okavango over 14 months.

“Revealing the epic beauty of both the people and animals of the Okavango is a great subject to be shooting in 8K,” Bestelink said. “It’s a time to see it in its full aesthetic glory.
