Damiyon 'D.Kidd' Morgan

D.Kidd was born Damiyon Travone Morgan in Los Angeles, California, where he was born and raised, the son of Gayla Black and James Morgan. At ten years old, he started rapping. He attended Henry Clay middle School and, graduated from Narbonne High School. In this time, he was exposed to all kinds of music, ranging from Hip-Hop to Jazz. To further his love for music, he studied at the Los Angeles Recording School. In 2007, he got his breakthrough with his album, titled "Soul of a Hustler". His passion for film started after many of years of success in music. To educate himself with the transition, he studied at New York University, and graduated with B.A. in Film Studies. Afterwards, he began taking acting classes to further perfect his craft. This led to acting in short films that he has also written, such as "One Night Stand", "Caught Up", and "Double or Nothing". He has recently opened a new door in film and started directing.
