Lionsgate is asking, "What would you do to go viral?" with its upcoming new horror flick, Do Not Enter. As part of Collider's Exclusive Preview event for upcoming movies, we can share the official trailer, which shows that there's a heavy and terrifying price to pay for fame. Deadly rivals make their presence known, though the night takes an especially harrowing turn when supernatural creatures begin hunting them down.

Deadline reports that a film adaptation of Morrell's "Creepers" from Lionsgate and Suretone Pictures is going into production later this month. Casting is underway, with Marc Klasfeld set to direct in his feature film debut. Klasfeld has a long list of music video credits that reads like a who's who...

Happy holidays from Sia!

The 41-year-old singer surprised fans on Wednesday by releasing the music video for "Santa's Coming for Us," the new single from her first-ever holiday album, Everyday Is Christmas.

It also features Henry Winkler, Susan Lucci and Wyatt Oleff.

The video begins with Bell, clad in a candy cane-striped dress, lip syncing to Sia's first verse. She's later joined by Shepard, who's adorably dressed in a green sweater and bow tie. Together they trim the tree and host a festive holiday party for their friends and fam.

While the entire video is entertaining from beginning to end, we think it's safe to say the best part is at the 3:22 mark, when Bell and Shepard...

It's easy to compare Justin Bieber's "Boyfriend" video, which premiered Thursday on MTV, to 'Nsync's "Girlfriend" clip from a decade earlier.

The concepts are quite similar: Both videos depict laid-back parking-lot parties that go from sun-drenched afternoons to moonlit evenings, filled with fancy cars, pretty girls and hip-hop-influenced dance breaks.

Back in 2001, 'Nsync enlisted director Marc Klasfeld for their game-changing "Girlfriend" clip that helped launch them ahead in their career from tweeny idols to full-grown men. Now, as Bieber hopes to make the same leap into manhood, he said that despite having tons of respect for Justin Timberlake, he didn't realize there were similarities between his Director X-directed video and the boy band's clip.

The official, real-deal version of Fun.'s "We Are Young" video premiered Monday on MTV.com, and I mention all the lead-up not just because it was rather unprecedented (especially for a band this green; they've released just one studio album to date), but because, rarely, if ever, does the final product live up to the advanced hype.

Except this time, it does. The latest — and, one can assume, last — version of "Young" is a gorgeous,...

Watch: Red Hot Chili Peppers tip hat to Raymond Pettibon in 'Monarchy' vid
If you were unfamiliar with the work of artist Raymond Pettibon before, the Red Hot Chili Peppers want to make sure you walk away from their "Monarchy of Roses" music video with a better understanding of him. The clip is directed by prolific helmer Marc Klasfeld -- who headed up the vid for Rhcp's "The Adventures of Rain Dance Maggie" -- and it was inspired by Pettibon in it's swirling, jagged stop motion animations of primarily inky lines on a white background. Anthony Kiedis and Flea alternate in who gets to keep their shirt throughout, natch. Fun fact: Pettibon is the brother...

Red Hot Chili Peppers Debut 'Monarchy Of Roses' Video
New clip is a tribute to artist Raymond Pettibon, who helped shape the L.A. punk scene the band grew up in.

By James Montgomery

When I first interviewed the Red Hot Chili Peppers back in June, frontman Anthony Kiedis made it a point to wear his now-ubiquitous Off! cap (the same one he'd wear in their "Adventures of Rain Dance Maggie" video), a tribute to the punk supergroup made up of members of Black Flag, Red Kross and Rocket From the Crypt, to name just a few.

The reason I mention that now is because the Peppers just premiered the video for "Monarchy of Roses," the second single from their I'm With You album, a stark, surging, (mostly) black-and-white thing very much indebted to the work of artist Raymond Pettibon, who made his mark designing album covers,...

Video of the Year might be the top prize at Sunday's MTV Video Music Awards, but this year, there is some serious competition in another category: Best Female Video.

With pop heavyweights Adele, Beyoncé, Katy Perry, Lady Gaga and Nicki Minaj all looking to take home the Moonman, it's a battle between five women who have all had stellar years. Leading up to their showdown, MTV News takes a look back at the divas' massive past 12 months:

Katy Perry

Nominated Video: "Firework"

Her Massive Year: Katy Perry dropped the feel-good clip in October, saying she "believed in people" when she wrote the track. Months later, in January, she announced the dates...

Red Hot Chili Peppers Nervous To Play I'm With You Live
Anthony Kiedis says he's concerned about 'not having enough days to practice.'

By Gil Kaufman

Red Hot Chili Peppers' Anthony Kiedis

When MTV News sat down with legendary Los Angeles punk-funk icons the Red Hot Chili Peppers on Wednesday, they talked about a lot of things very confidently — their new video, fond memories of L.A.'s Forum, pygmy scientists and the state of music videos today. But the one thing they were clearly nervous about was the upcoming tour in support of their new album, I'm With You.

It's not performance anxiety: that much you can tell from the loose vibe of the just-unveiled "The Adventures of Rain Dance Maggie" video. The Chili Peppers have seen millions of faces over the past 28 years, and rocked them all (or at least 99.9 percent of them). No, it's the challenge of playing the new songs from the...

Video Premiere: Red Hot Chili Peppers' 'Adventure of Rain Dance Maggie'
Red Hot Chili Peppers have released a music video supporting their new single "The Adventure of Rain Dance Maggie". Inspired by The Beatles' iconic 1969 rooftop performance, the Anthony Kiedis-fronted band rock out atop one of the buldings in Venice Beach, California.

The music video is directed by Marc Klasfeld. "We were a little bit worried because off to the side of the roof there's no safety net," he said. "We found the location at the last minute, because it had such incredible views, but on the edges of the location, you fall and you die, basically."

As for Kiedis, he shared to MTV, "We wanted to go be outside and be free and play and see what happened." Instead of going ahead with the original "indoors and dark and dank" set, they match the fun vibes of the song by taking it to the different direction. "So we thought,...

The Red Hot Chili Peppers wowed fans with their new video for "The Adventures of Rain Dance Maggie," the first single from their upcoming album, I'm With You. The video's MTV debut was followed by a lively and playful chat with the Peppers themselves: Anthony Kiedis, Flea, Chad Smith and Josh Klinghoffer.

Conversation flowed as easily as a face-melting lick from Flea's bass, and the topics covered included their much-needed "hiatus" and how it reinvigorated their music-making, along with details about the forthcoming album. Naturally, one of the main topics to address was the "Maggie" video, which, according to frontman Kiedis, was...

Red Hot Chili Peppers' 'Maggie' Director Aimed For 'Simple And Iconic'
Marc Klasfeld describes the risks the band took shooting rooftop clip.

By Matt Elias

Anthony Kiedis in the Red Hot Chili Peppers' "Adventures of Rain Dance Maggie" music video

We're just a day away from the world premiere of the music video for "The Adventures of Rain Dance Maggie" during "MTV First: Red Hot Chili Peppers" on MTV, MTV2, and MTV.com (Wednesday night at 7:53 p.m. Et). But before the video's official unveiling, MTV News sat down with the clip's director, Marc Klasfeld, to shed a little light on this long-awaited project.

Klasfeld, whose videos for Katy Perry's "Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.)" and Rise Against's "Make It Stop (September's Children)" are up for VMAs this year, said that the idea for the brand new video came from an old, iconic place.

"[Anthony Kiedis and I] were actually looking at the Beatles' 'Get Back' rooftop video and we decided that,...

In Katy Perry's "Last Friday Night" video, we see what happens when nerdy girl Kathy Beth Terry (Perry) gets a makeover and becomes the life of the party. Recently, director Marc Klasfeld sat down with MTV News and took us through his neon-colored tribute to '80s teen movies, frame by frame.

"The storyline is definitely '16 Candles' and John Hughes-influenced," Klasfeld said. "And all those great '80s high school movies."

The celebrity cameos come fast and don't stop, beginning with "Glee" star Darren Criss, who drops in on Kathy's bedroom to thank her for the "best party ever" the morning after. "Darren, he was great," Klasfeld said. "He was in there for like an hour.

Katy Perry at an event for Katy Perry: Part of Me (2012)
The director of Katy Perry's new video for 'Last Friday Night' has described the concept behind the clip as "bold". Marc Klasfeld praised the singer for her willingness to try a more comedic angle for the single and encouraged other artists to follow Perry's lead. "I thought it was really bold of Katy, who is such a sex symbol, to try something like this, but I also knew it would be received very well if done right," Klasfeld explained to MTV News. "I worked with Katy on 3Oh!3's 'Starstrukk' and knew she could pull off comedy. And she is actually an incredible actress who dove into this Kathy Beth role with reckless abandon. "I really hope other artists take Katy's lead and try to not take themselves so seriously all the time. (more)...

There are many stars in Katy Perry's "Last Friday Night" video, but perhaps none as sparkling as Katy herself, who director Marc Klasfeld said had fun playing dorky Kathy Beth Terry.

Katy Perry rounded up quite the cast of cameos for her "Last Friday Night" video. The Marc Klasfeld-directed clip featured "Glee" stars Darren Criss and Kevin McHale, "Friday" singer Rebecca Black, Kenny G, Debbie Gibson and Corey Feldman. Oh, yeah: It also had Hanson as the video's house band!

"We were flattered to be asked, and it was great to be a part of it," Taylor Hanson told MTV News on Tuesday (June 14). "We had a really good time. It was one of those things that worked out really well. They said [they] needed a band to play the party, and we thought we could bring the party — even if it was a fictional party.

"First of all, Kenny G's an icon,...

Katy Perry's 'Last Friday Night' Gets Teen-Party Makeover From Rebecca Black
Hanson, Kenny G and 'Glee' stars Darren Criss and Kevin McHale also guest-star in teen-movie homage.

By Jocelyn Vena

What happened "Last Friday Night"? Katy Perry's alter ego Kathy Beth Terry is trying to figure that out. In the just premiered video, directed by Marc Klasfeld, Perry pays homage to the teen flicks of the '80s, with the help of quite a few famous friends.

In the midst of a rousing game of sudoku, the brace-faced, headgear-wearing, nerdy Kathy seems initially mad at the house party going on outside. So, what's a girl to do? Well, try to reason with the revelers and get them to stop, obviously.

But those revelers happen to include "Friday" singer Rebecca Black, house band Hanson, with an assist from Kathy Beth Terry's crazy uncle Kenny G, and "Glee" stars Darren Criss and Kevin McHale,...

Video Premiere: Nelly's 'Gone' Ft. Kelly Rowland
Nelly and Kelly Rowland try to recreate their "Dilemma" magic and make a sweet reunion in a music video directed by Marc Klasfeld for their new duet track "Gone". They're frolicking on a floating bed in the swimming pool and shares intimate moment on the beach.

About a scene where Nelly is absent, Kelly told Us Magazine, "I get to rock a fabulous black sexy cutaway bathing suit with a cute striped blazer. I am rolling around on a chaise, trying to be as seductive and sexy as I can without ruining any of my wardrobe."

A slow-riding tune, "Gone" is produced by Jim Jonsin and listed in Nelly's new effort "Nelly 5.0" which has been on sale since November 2010. Although it features lyrics which seemingly pick up where "Dilemma" left off, Nelly refused to call it a sequel.

"I don't want to diminish anything with 'Dilemma' or have an expectation...
