While you might know him best for penning the novel that went on to spawn the entire Rambo franchise, author David Morrell is more than just a one-trick pony. He's written a slew of books since First Blood that have been translated into 30 languages, with one of them being the 2005 horror tale, Creepers. Now, thanks to Lionsgate and Suretone Pictures, we have the first trailer for the film adaptation, titled Do Not Enter, which is directed by Marc Klasfeld in his feature debut.

Last month, we learned that Lionsgate is funding a horror film based on the novel Creepers (pick up a copy Here) by First Blood author David Morrell. At the time, it was said that Skylan Brooks (The Darkest Minds) would be one of the film’s cast members – but Deadline reports that Brooks is no longer involved with the project. Taking over the role he was going to play is Shane Paul McGhie, who is best known for playing the role of Landon in After and After We Collided. (McGhie then passed the role over to Chance Perdomo for After We Fell.)

A new David Morrell novel is getting the movie treatment — and this one doesn't feature any scheduled appearances by drifter John Rambo. Instead, it involves "Creepers," here defined as urban explorers who are ready to engage in the "highly illegal activity" of creeping through abandoned buildings, where other rival explorers and supernatural beings may lurk.

Morrell penned the First Blood book that was adapted into the films behind the Rambo franchise. Creepers will shoot this summer in Bulgaria and will be helmed by Marc Klasfeld, a veteran music video and commercial director making his feature film debut.

Video of the Year might be the top prize at Sunday's MTV Video Music Awards, but this year, there is some serious competition in another category: Best Female Video.

Red Hot Chili Peppers have released a music video supporting their new single "The Adventure of Rain Dance Maggie". Inspired by The Beatles' iconic 1969 rooftop performance, the Anthony Kiedis-fronted band rock out atop one of the buldings in Venice Beach, California.

The music video is directed by Marc Klasfeld. "We were a little bit worried because off to the side of the roof there's no safety net," he said. "We found the location at the last minute, because it had such incredible views, but on the edges of the location, you fall and you die, basically."

As for Kiedis, he shared to MTV, "We wanted to go be outside and be free and play and see what happened." Instead of going ahead with the original "indoors and dark and dank" set, they match the fun vibes of the song by taking it to the different direction. "So we thought,...

We're just a day away from the world premiere of the music video for "The Adventures of Rain Dance Maggie" during "MTV First: Red Hot Chili Peppers" on MTV, MTV2, and MTV.com (Wednesday night at 7:53 p.m. Et). But before the video's official unveiling, MTV News sat down with the clip's director, Marc Klasfeld, to shed a little light on this long-awaited project.

In Katy Perry's "Last Friday Night" video, we see what happens when nerdy girl Kathy Beth Terry (Perry) gets a makeover and becomes the life of the party. Recently, director Marc Klasfeld sat down with MTV News and took us through his neon-colored tribute to '80s teen movies, frame by frame.

"The storyline is definitely '16 Candles' and John Hughes-influenced," Klasfeld said. "And all those great '80s high school movies."

The celebrity cameos come fast and don't stop, beginning with "Glee" star Darren Criss, who drops in on Kathy's bedroom to thank her for the "best party ever" the morning after. "Darren, he was great," Klasfeld said. "He was in there for like an hour.

What happened "Last Friday Night"? Katy Perry's alter ego Kathy Beth Terry is trying to figure that out. In the just premiered video, directed by Marc Klasfeld, Perry pays homage to the teen flicks of the '80s, with the help of quite a few famous friends.

In the midst of a rousing game of sudoku, the brace-faced, headgear-wearing, nerdy Kathy seems initially mad at the house party going on outside. So, what's a girl to do? Well, try to reason with the revelers and get them to stop, obviously.

But those revelers happen to include "Friday" singer Rebecca Black, house band Hanson, with an assist from Kathy Beth Terry's crazy uncle Kenny G, and "Glee" stars Darren Criss and Kevin McHale,...

Nelly and Kelly Rowland try to recreate their "Dilemma" magic and make a sweet reunion in a music video directed by Marc Klasfeld for their new duet track "Gone". They're frolicking on a floating bed in the swimming pool and shares intimate moment on the beach.

About a scene where Nelly is absent, Kelly told Us Magazine, "I get to rock a fabulous black sexy cutaway bathing suit with a cute striped blazer. I am rolling around on a chaise, trying to be as seductive and sexy as I can without ruining any of my wardrobe."
