Bianca Bellange is a French Canadian actress, writer and producer. Born in Montreal, she is perfectly bilingual and continues to work in French and in English in TV series and feature films with respected and celebrated directors like Daniel Destin Cretton, Daniel Roby, Ricardo Trogi, Erik Canuel and Dean Parisot. Seeing herself as a storyteller, Bianca wanted to tell stories not only in front but also behind the camera, so she started to develop and produce her own scripts. Through her production company, Bel Ange Moon Productions, she works with her co-producer and sister Ayana O'Shun on several films and television series (fiction and documentary genres).

In June 2018, Bianca was one of the top 25 Canadians selected for the "Netflix-Banff Diversity of Voices Initiative Program" at the 2018 Banff World Media Festival. She was awarded a grant by SODEC, one of the sponsors of the program, and by the festival itself. In 2019, Ayana was selected in the same program.

Bianca and her sister are bold creators/producers who build solid business relationships with key players in the industry and produce rich content for the national and international markets. Their films, which are female-centric, have connected strongly with viewers from a wide variety of different backgrounds They believe this connection comes from the fact that their audiences identify with the characters' experiences, regardless of their race or gender.

    • Trivia
Bianca studied acting under the guidance of several renowned acting teachers. Among them are Danielle Fichaud, who has taught many French Canadian film/television stars, and Warren Robertson who guided great talents like Jessica Lange and Viggo Mortensen.

In 2012, Bianca and Ayana were in Los Angeles for the Produced by Conference event where they had access and learned from the greatest creators & producers in film, television and online media. Guests included: Shonda Rhimes, Christopher Nolan, Brian Grazer, Mark Gordon.

In 2013, Bianca Bellange and her sister were among the laureates selected by « La Table de l'Histoire des Noirs de Montréal ». They were honored as one of the Black producers who had most distinguished themselves in the Arts in Montreal.

Bianca and her sister Ayana produced "Black Hands - Trial of the Arsonist Slave". The docu-fiction premiered primetime and was the second highest-rated TV program in its time-slot. Having toured more than 40 festivals nationally and internationally, "Black Hands" was the recipient of several awards, including the Dikola Award for Best Documentary Film at the Cannes PanAfrican International Film Festival.

Success continued with the comedy short "Lazyboy", a film about a distinguished woman's breakdown on her psychiatrist's lazyboy. "Lazyboy" premiered at the prestigious New Cinema Festival in Montreal, and was nabbed by two French networks, TV5 and Télé-Québec.
