Biography

Charles Dumont is an American actor who grew up in Granada, Spain and moved to the United States at the age of 16. While that did not make him really good at flamenco guitar, it did make him fluent in Spanish and an excellent dancer. Charles came into acting through an unusual path. His first career was in the space technology sector, where he designed electronics for satellites and interplanetary spacecraft. A highlight was getting to design hardware for the Spirit and Opportunity rovers that landed on Mars. In fact, there is a little metal plaque on Mars with his name on it in a tiny font. After retiring, Charles took an acting class and never looked back. Charles is passionate about helping to tell grandiose stories like the ones that fired his imagination as a kid. He hopes to play a wizard some day, even just once.
