'She Was My First Love': Evangelion Creator Admits Being 'Smitten' By a Key Part of Anime's Biggest Space Opera
Image
Hideaki Anno is one of the most iconic creators in anime, best known for creating the original Neon Genesis Evangelion series. Before this, however, he was himself a major fan of science fiction and mecha works, as shown by his adoration for one character in a legendary show.

Via Oricon, a recent anniversary celebration for the beloved Space Battleship Yamato saw Hideaki Anno discuss the show with both fans and some of the talent behind the series. One of them was a voice actor who portrayed a character that he was quite taken with. While the role might not have been quite as romantic for the voice talent in question, it launched the fandom of an illustrious anime creator in his formative years.

One Piece Characters Sanji Needs To Beat In The Final Saga
Image
The Straw Hat Pirates are the focus of the One Piece series, and Sanji Vinsmoke was the fourth person to join the crew. Sanji may be a cook who only uses his legs during combat, but he has become one of the strongest pirates in the series. He does not have a Devil Fruit, but he can use Observation and Armament Haki, and he now has superhuman strength, endurance, and durability. Sanji has defeated many opponents over the years, and will probably have to defeat even more characters in the Final Saga.

Sanji will need to defeat a few pirates before the series ends, but he will also need to beat some high-ranking Marines and World Nobles. He may even fight a family member and fellow crewmate. Most of these characters have powerful Haki and Devil Fruits, so they will probably give Sanji a fair bit of trouble.
