She is the Ambassador of the Miami Symphony Orchestra.

Athina was named after the Goddess Athina, Goddess of wisdom, handicraft, strategic war and who showed the Greek people how to do olive oil.

She lived one year in Japan where she improved her Kendo martial arts technique and learned Japanese and lived in an authentic Dojo with great older Kendo Masters, who were awarded by the Japanese Emperor.

At 12 she lived in Cairo which fired her imagination and all the romantic experiences living there inspires her throughout her life and it is where she starts to be followed by producers and agents and is admired for her early beauty which resulted in a first Nivea creme commercial. (where she was shown in a bikini) and being a contestant at the Miss Teen Pageant in Alexandria/Egypt she won. It is also there where she also met Omar Sharif in the lido of the country club in Cairo who said to her: Athina, you will keep your baby face for a long time, Inshallah.

Athina was trained in the Venezuelan military in Fuerte Tiuna and also in Japan in one of the most renowned Kendo schools in Tokyo.

Athina intensified her training for the Netflix TV series by NBCU Telemundo Enterprises, El Senor de los Cielos, season 7, in martial arts, kickboxing, selfdefense and tai chi. Her kicks are a highlight in her fighting scenes.

Athina lives since 15 years in the USA/Miami where she works also for the Miami Symphony Orchestra as a co producer together with her husband, conductor and music director Eduardo Marturet, when she is not working as an actress in film projects.

Athina was born on October 3.
