Scot Francis Barbour was born in Oakland California and graduated in 1998 from SFSU with honors in Cinema Production.

Scot began his film career in Post-Production as an editor working at Apple Inc. to develop the original Final Cut Pro software.

He launched the first Virtual Production stage in Hollywood at Oasis Imagery, and served for nearly a decade as Vice President of Production & Technology where he worked with countless productions in film and television and founded Sony Pictures' virtual production stage and entity Sony Innovation Studios.

Scot is an accomplished Director of music videos, concerts, and documentary film. He is also the author of "Man of Golden Words - The Biography of Andrew Wood."
