A few days ago, a spin-off of a widely acclaimed police procedural series quietly premiered on Amazon Prime Video, earning praise from critics and audiences. Despite the rave reviews, the gripping cop drama is still flying under the radar for many viewers. We are talking about Ballard, the Bosch spin-off starring Maggie Q in the lead role.

For the unversed, the original series Bosch featured Titus Welliver as Harry Bosch, an ex-Special Forces officer turned no-nonsense homicide detective in LAPD’s Hollywood division. He investigated complex murder cases, used his sharp crime-solving skills, and brought elusive culprits to justice.

For a little over a decade, viewers have followed the personal and professional life of LAPD detective Harry Bosch. Played byTitus Welliver, Boschpremiered on Amazon Prime Video on February 6, 2014, and went on to produce 68 episodes through seven seasons. When it ended in 2021, that wasn't the last time fans of the police procedural saw the main character. Its first spin-off, Bosch: Legacy, which premiered in 2022 on Amazon Freevee, followed a retired Bosch who worked as a private investigator. In its third and final season, viewers were introduced to Detective Renée Ballard, played by Maggie Q, in the last episode, which served as a minorintroduction to Bosch: Legacy's spin-off, Ballard. However, it will not be nostalgic, according to the leading actress.

During an interview with Collider, Maggie Q revealed that although the series is connected to Bosch, because it is a spin-off, it won't lean on familiarity.

As confirmed by series lead Titus Welliver, the upcoming spin-off Ballard—led by Maggie Q—is already on the way, with plans to arrive sometime in 2025. Viewers will be introduced to Maggie Q’s character, Renee Ballard, in the final episode of Bosch: Legacy Season 3. Edgar would have been "tapped for an undercover FBI mission in Little Haiti, Miami. Instead of protection, a curse falls over Aman, causing every man who dies by his gun to rise from the grave. Vmi Worldwide announced that it has sold North American rights of the action-sci-fi-horror film Gallowwalkers to Wrekin Hill Entertainment.

The story centers on a cursed gunslinger, who draws the wrath of undead warriors after killing the gang that killed his lover. The film stars Wesley Snipes, Dallas Page, Simona Brhlikova and Riley Smith.

Vmi president Andre Relis has this to say about the film.

"Wesley is officially back in the Us, and soon the rest of the world, we are meeting our Efm goal to reintroduce him to the audiences with Gallowwalkers."

Wesley Snipes is gearing up for a small resurgence, with a lead role in Gallowwalkers, followed by an appearance in The Expendables 3. This action icon of the early Nineties is overdue for a comeback, and is only now reemerging from his taxes woes, which leveled him at the knees. Having paid his dues to society in real-life, the rejuvenated actor is taking on the lead in Gallowwalkers, in which he stars as a lone gunman who must deal with the ghosts of his victims.

Born of a nun who sacrificed herself to save Aman as an infant, the young boy is cursed by God to be haunted by all those taken by his hand. When he seeks revenge on a ruthless gang responsible for the murder of his one true love, he must then battle these reprobates who return to Earth more powerful than ever, forming an army of undead warriors that are mercilessly unstoppable.

Movie star Wesley Snipes will be released into the wild, wild west to fight the undead and blast his way into Film4's FrightFest 2012 Saturday, October 27th with the World Premiere of his latest film.

Wesley Snipes is making headlines with his long-awaited and highly-anticipated return to the big screen with the World Premiere of the cowboy wild west- zombie mash-up: Gallowwalkers. Millennium Films has finally released a movie trailer for Ariel Vromen‘s The Iceman, which is based on a true story. Michael Shannon stars as real-life mafia hitman Richard Kuklinski. Kuklinski is believed to have killed over 100 people between 1964 and 1986. Winona Ryder stars as Kuklinski’s wife Deborah.

The film co-stars James Franco, Chris Evans, David Schwimmer, Ray Liotta, Stephen Dorff, Erin Cummings, Garrett Kruithof, Robert Davi, Christa Campbell, Hector Hank, and McKaley Miller.

Vromen is directing from a script he co-wrote with past collaborator Morgan Land (Rx / Simple Lies)

The film does not yet have U.S. release date.
