BBC Three axes controversial sitcom 'Way To Go'
BBC Three has reportedly axed controversial comedy Way To Go.

The sitcom - from veteran Us comedy writer Bob Kushell - starred The Inbetweeners actor Blake Harrison as Scott, who sets up an assisted suicide business.

The series, which also starred Ben Heathcote and Marc Wootton, will not return for a second series, according to the British Comedy Guide.

Six 30-minute episodes of Way To Go aired in early 2013, with the show premiere attracting a series peak of 420,000 viewers on January 17.

Kushell (3rd Rock from the Sun, Suburgatory) previously told Digital Spy that Way To Go was not intended to be controversial.

"The subject matter is really the background of what the show is about," he claimed. "The scripts deal with it in a very delicate way."

The Us writer explained that Harrison's character Scott "constantly questions" his new way of life across Way to Go's six episodes. "The scripts deal with it in a very delicate (more)...
