Zawe Ashton is clarifying the status of her relationship with longtime love Tom Hiddleston.

If you didn’t know, the 41-year-old Velvet Buzzsaw actress and the 44-year-old Loki actor met while working on the play Betrayal in London in 2019. They later reprised their roles on Broadway. The couple confirmed their engagement in June 2022 and they welcomed their first child together in October 2022.

While announcing that she’s pregnant with their second child, Zawe referred to Tom as her “husband.”

In a new interview, Zawe clarified that she and Tom are not married yet.

Tom Hiddleston and Zawe Ashton make a picture perfect couple at SXSW London 2025!

The 44-year-old actor was joined by the 40-year-old actress, who just announced that she’s pregnant with their second child, at the premiere of his new movie The Life of Chuck on Saturday (June 7) held at the Barbican Centre in London, England.

For the event, Tom looked sharp in blue suit while Zawe coordinated in a blue ruffled dress and matching cape.

Also in attendance at the event was Tom‘s co-star Chiwetel Ejiofor along with director/writer Mike Flanagan.

The Marvels became one of Marvel Studios' biggest box office flops when it opened last year. What should have been an epic event movie felt like an extended episode of a Disney+ TV series and despite filmmaker Nia DaCosta's best efforts, the sequel struggled to soar.

The costume designs split opinions but one piece of concept art from The Marvels: Art of The Movie has revealed a Captain Marvel suit based on the fan-favourite comic book version by Jen Bartel.

The Marvels star Brie Larson is set to make her West End Debut with a revival of Sophocles' play, Elektra.

No, this is not based on the Marvel Comics character (obviously), but the heroine of the Greek Tragedy did inspire Frank Miller's Elektra Natchios, who was introduced in the pages of Daredevil back in 1981.

In the play: "Elektra, haunted by her father’s assassination, is consumed by grief; a need for survival; and a thirst for vengeance. When her long lost brother Orestes at last returns, she urges him to a savage and terrifying conclusion."

This adaptation was written by poet Anne Carson, and will be directed by Daniel Fish, whose Broadway and West End productions of Oklahoma! won best musical revival at the Tony and Olivier awards, respectively.

After his post-credit appearance in The Marvels, Kelsey Grammer has stayed relatively quiet on Beast's future in the MCU, but has now hinted that there could be more to come. Grammer played the iconic X-Men member Hank McCoy, aka Beast, in 2006's X-Men: The Last Stand. While critics and audiences did not receive that movie well, Grammer's Beast was universally praised. The actor would also have a brief cameo as Beast at the end of X-Men: Days of Future Past in 2014. In 2023, Grammer reprised the role of Beast one more time, this time as a CGI character in the post-credits scene of The Marvels.

While an X-Men reboot is (finally) in development, Marvel Studios has also brought several actors from 20th Century Fox's now defunct franchise back to reprise their respective roles in the MCU.

Most recently, Hugh Jackman returned for Deadpool and Wolverine, and we also saw Sir Patrick Stewart as Professor Charles Xavier in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, and Kelsey Grammar as Beast in The Marvels' post-credits scene.

In the stinger, Monica Rambeau (Teyonah Parris) wakes up in a medical lab after getting trapped in an alternate reality following her battle with Dar-Benn to find her late mother, Maria (Lashana Lynch), by her side. Rambeau is overcome with joy, but Maria - who is actually this world's Binary - has no idea who she is.

Azazel, Lady Deathstrike, Juggernaut, Toad, and more were all portrayed by stunt performers or lesser-known actors, though that's somewhat understandable given their minor roles in the movie.

Marvel Studios has established that not all Variants look alike, though, and in the case of Callisto - played by Dania Ramirez in X-Men: The Last Stand - it was stunt performer Chloe Kibble who suited up as the mutant.

Regency fans can satisfy their itch by watching the witty and romantic film Mr. Malcolm's List, fresh on Rotten Tomatoes with an 83% score. Similar to Bridgerton, Mr. Malcolm's List follows high society ladies scheming to secure respectable husbands, with electrifying romantic moments. The film's unique twist on Regency genre rules, matchmaking machinations, and mean-spirited conflicts make it a perfect watch while waiting for Bridgerton.

The Marvel Cinematic Universe has brought many characters back for multiple appearances, and that has led to exciting sequels that deepen the impact of certain heroes, villains, and stories. Some of the McU's best movies have been sequels, something that should become even more common in the future. The reason for that is Marvel now has a new mandate to focus on franchises, which comes from Disney's decision to fix issues company-wide.
