- Amy Hoerler has always wanted to be an actress, and, after the tragic events of 9/11, set out to make it her career.
Amy honed her skills on the Lower East Side of Manhattan with the a)LoStCrEaTiVe Theatre Company, and later, studying at the Neighborhood Playhouse and Atlantic Theatre Company. After relocating to Florida, she became a Master Acting Class student of Burt Reynolds at the Burt Reynolds Institute for Film and Theatre (2010-2018).
Amy's talents were showcased on various stages in New York City--including PS122, La MaMa, HERE, Wings, Collective:Unconscious, and the 13th Street Rep. She made notable achievement by playing the female lead in the longest-running off-off Broadway play, LINE.
In addition to her stage work, Amy has starred in and worked on several independent and student films, including Lulu Wang's Can-Can, Adam Rifkin's The Last Movie Star, and Dan Myrick's Black Veil.
Amy continues to honor her promise to Burt Reynolds to never to quit acting. She is a SAG-AFTRA member in good standing and resides near Palm Springs, California and is available as a modified local hire on SAG-AFTRA projects.- IMDb Mini Biography By: MSFT Management
