'Cars 3' Writers Tackling Animated Movie 'A Tale of Momentum and Inertia' (Exclusive)
Eyal Podell
Eyal Podell and Jonathon E. Stewart, who wrote on the upcoming Cars 3, have been tapped to pen A Tale of Momentum and Inertia for Fox Animation.

The project adapts and expands the short animated film that made the festival circuit rounds a few years ago and that the studio picked up in a quiet bidding war last year.

Carlos Saldanha, the man behind Fox's Rio movies, and Maresa Pullman will produce through their Bottle Cap Productions. The short's director, Kameron Gates, and the production company House Special are also producing.

Short Film: A Tale of Momentum and Inertia
Sometimes enemies can be misperceived as friends… and vice versa. From Portland animation studio HouseSpecial is this short, A Tale of Momentum and Inertia, directed by Kameron Gates showing why the “shoot first, ask questions later” approach isn’t always the best. Comical Animated Rock Creature Short - A Tale Of Momentum & Inertia
"A Tale of Momentum & Inertia" is a humorous CG animated short film directed by Kirk Kelley and Kameron Gates for HouseSpecial. In it, a giant rock creature accidentally sends a giant boulder down a mountain toward a city on the edge of the sea. The rock creature springs into action to try to save the town, but things take an unexpected turn for the creature and the town. The short is beautifully designed and animated, and I know this is one you are all going to enjoy, so check it out!

Reviewed by Colleen Wanglund, MoreHorror.com

Directed by Todd Freeman

Runtime 4 minutes

Written and directed by Todd Freeman, M is for Marriage (formerly titled Love Sick) is a short film currently in the running for a spot in the upcoming anthology horror film ABCs of Death 2.

The acting is well done, especially by Natalie Victoria who expertly conveys the deep hurt and anger she feels toward her husband. It is simply but effectively shot and edited, and the Special Effects are amazing. I think the other...
