The 24-year-old rapper -- whose real name is Belcalis Almanzar -- is currently dominating the music charts with her debut single, "Bodak Yellow," which recently reached number one on the Us Billboard Hot 100 chart. Born and raised in the Bronx, Cardi B's mother hails from Trinidad and her father is Dominican. In 2015, she joined the cast of VH1's Love & Hip Hop: New York for two seasons before leaving the reality show to focus on her music.

A film known as The Beacon, or Haunting at the Beacon now has a trailer available. The Haunting at the Beacon stars Canadian, horror icon Michael Ironside (Starship Troopers), Teri Polo (The Hole), and David Rees Snell (Red State Blues). Character Bryn has recently lost her four year old child. Then Bryn sees a young boy in the elevator shaft, who has already died. Is she grieving, or seeing a messenger from the other world? Fans who like independent horror films will have to check this one out. Unfortunately, Sabbatical Pictures has not announced a release date. Expect this one to go straight to DVD, with a release date announcement coming shortly.
