It's been a long while since last we talked to you about the indie film Gold Rush, but alas! The film is nearly complete, and on tap right now we have the trailer and more!

Post-production for the supernatural thriller Gold Rush is near completion. Directed by Debbie Bledsoe, terror strikes in the heart of Gold Rush Country, Northern California, when a team of modern-day paranormal experts investigate an evil presence at a collector’s estate filled with antiques from a gold mining ghost town.

The location of the film is, according to paranormal experts, authentically haunted. It’s a private property with preserved artifacts from the Gold Rush era.

"There’s no need to pretend it’s eerie here with all the dangerous mining tools: axes, picks, drills, and creepy sledgehammers. There’s real history here," said director Debbie Bledsoe. "The poker table has bullet holes.

It was a monumental year for Haven as it made its first panel appearance at San Diego Comic-Con. Haven not only hosted a fan party in honor of the occasion, they held their 1st panel at Sdcc, then rushed over for a 2nd panel at The Nerd Machine’s Nerd HQ — and managed to squish in time for fan scavenger hunt along the way. Everywhere you turned for the first couple of days at Sdcc there was a Haven event to be had. Fans of the show and newcomers were delighted with the large presence at San Diego Comic-Con and made sure that each appearance was a sold-out, jam-packed, and bursting at the seams event.

Comic-Con is releasing its daily schedules over this long holiday weekend and the schedule for Saturday, July 20 has just come out. The day features panels on TV favorites like How I Met Your Mother (at the Con for the first time!), True Blood, and The Vampire Diaries as well as upcoming shows like Dracula and The Originals, and much more. Many of the major film panels are Saturday, including a look at the upcoming Hunger Games: Catching Fire, the Marvel panel, which will feature the Thor and Captain America sequels, and WB and Legendary’s panel featuring Godzilla, and Gravity.

Saturday at Comic-Con is stacked with TV panels as CW hits including "The Vampire Diaries" and "Arrow" join fan favorites "Once Upon a Time," "Grimm," "Family Guy," "Bates Motel" and "Person of Interest," plus the Con debut of "How I Met Your Mother."

All that plus the CW's promising new series "The Tomorrow People" and "The Originals," more Fox animation, "Futurama," Syfy's "Warehouse 13" and "Being Human," NBC's "Revolution" and Cinemax's "Strike Back." Good luck trying to follow it all.

The cast of Gold Rush is full of fresh faces on the rise including Angel Oquendo ("Dexter," "House MD," Oceans 13), Kristin DeLuca ("Femme Fatales"), and William Mark McCullough (The Trials of Cate McCullough) as well as Debbie Bledsoe, Lydia Castro, Desmon Heck, Michael John Lane, Valerie Lucas, Maria Picaso, Richard Scott, Caroline Beilskis, Shelly Insheiwat, and Michael Buonomo. The film is expected to be released the beginning of 2013.

The first trailer and poster for Francis Xavier's Poe has been released by Metropolis Pictures Entertainment. In the trailer for Poe a mutilated, nude, female corpse is investigated by detectives as a serial killer named "The Chef" turns aspiring actresses into chuck. A slight nod to famous American writer Edgar Allan Poe is provided by Xavier and fans with an interest in the film need to be eighteen or older to step inside, as Poe sets the standard for Red Band trailers.

Los Angeles, California (X17online) - A judge has given the go-ahead for jurors to hear details about Jason Wahler's 2006 arrest for assaulting a tow-truck driver. Dario Stevenson is suing the 21-year-old reality TV star for allegedly punching him while he was impounding a car. Wahler allegedly used racial slurs in the incident. (Stevenson is black) Earlier, Wahler's attorneys declined to challenge a petition by the plaintiff to allow jurors to hear testimony concerning his behavior prior to his arrest. However the judge ruled that Wahler's no-contest plea to misdemeanor battery in the criminal side of the case would not be revealed to the jury. (Wahler was sentenced to two months in county jail over the incident, but avoid serving time after agreeing to rehab.) Stevenson is suing Wahler for verbally and physically attacking him.
