The 2024 Indian documentary short film, which has already won the Best Short Film award at the 28th Ji.hlava International Documentary Film Festival, has now earned a coveted spot on the longlist for the 2025 Toto Short Film Awards. Mumbai, Dec 10: Anupam Kher is upbeat about working with director David Dhawan, with whom he last worked with for 2002 film 'Yeh Hai Jalwa'.

Dhawan will direct the veteran actor for the remake of 1981 classic 'Chashme Buddoor'.

'On my way to Goa for the shoot of David Dhawan's tentatively titled 'Chashme Buddoor'. Working with David after a long gap in a Triple Role,' Anupam posted on Twitter.

The original movie featured Farooq Shaikh, Deepti Naval, Rakesh Bedi, Ravi Baswani and Saeed Jaffrey, while the new, modern version will reportedly star Ali Zafar in the role essayed by Farooq.
