Sports and pop culture publication OutKick grew its audience to 7.2 million total multi-platform unique visitors in 2023, according to Comscore data shared with The Desk.

The figure represents a 65 increase in OutKick’s audience compared to the previous year, fueled by a slate of talent hires and a distribution agreement with parent company Fox Corporation’s direct-to-consumer streaming service, Fox Nation.

During the fourth quarter of the year, OutKick saw an increase across all key metrics, including 73 million total multi-platform views, an increase of 15 percent, and 73 million total multi-platform minutes, an increase of 9 percent. Ex-nfl Qb Donovan McNabb was popped for DUI in Arizona on June 28th ... the second time he's been arrested for DUI in 2 years.  The Gilbert Police Department says McNabb rear-ended a car that was stopped at a red light around 11:35 Pm -- and when cops arrived to the scene, they determined Donovan was drunk.  The 38-year-old was subsequently arrested for DUI and transported to a nearby police station where he was booked, cited and eventually released.

Embattled NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell admitted today that he “mishandled” and “got it wrong” in his dealing with Baltimore Raven's Ray Rice’s domestic violence scandal.

"Now I will get it right and will do whatever is necessary to accomplish that," Goodell said in a press conference today. Goodell also announced that the NFL will now make mandatory all team and staff members across all 32 teams in the league to undergo education and training in how to prevent sexual assault and domestic abuse.

When the allegations of domestic violence first made it to public awareness, Goodell suspended Rice for only two games, and considered the matter closed. The rest of the country didn’t think so. Goodell’s name has almost constantly been trending on Twitter over the last several months, and he has been under near constant scrutiny by both the media and federal authorities.

On Tuesday evening, Epix and the St. Louis Rams hosted a special advance screening of the upcoming Epix Original Documentary Forgotten Four: The Integration of Pro Football. This original documentary from Emmy award winning producer Ross Greenburg, chronicles the story of the four African-American athletes — Kenny Washington, Woody Strode, Marion Motley and Bill Willis – who are credited with breaking the color barrier in professional football in 1946, one year before Jackie Robinson.

The special screening took place at the Wehrenberg Galaxy Theatre. There was also a post-screening panel discussion with St. Louis Rams alumni including Brandon Williams and Derek Stanley and St. Louis Post-Dispatch Columnist Bryan Burwell.

Fox’s fledgling 24-hour national sports network today unveiled the full cast of commentators and analysts for its nightly rival to Espn’s SportsCenter. Joining hosts Jay Onrait and Dan O’Toole on Fox Sports 1′s daily news program Fox Sports Live are former Espn host Charissa Thompson, ex-nfl stars Donovan McNabb and Ephraim Salaam and NBA Hall of Famer Gary Payton. Already on that list was ex-tennis star Andy Roddick. “Whatever the story is, we’ll rise to the top. Regardless of what sport it comes from”, said executive producer Mike Hughes during an event to unveil the cast. The show debuts when the network launches August 17, replacing Speed Channel.
