Biography

    • Born in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Lizbeth studied a bachelor's degree in Anthropology, while she was training acting. After graduating in 2022, she began to train Theatrical Anthropology in a scenic laboratory at the same time as starting her career in film professionally.

      In 2023 she was nominated for Best Supporting Actress at the 10th Queer International Film Festival in Playa del Carmen with the film "Cuando Cae La Tarde" (2023).

      She has also collaborated on feature films and short films that have been presented at different film festivals around the world, to mention: "Elevación" (2024), official selection at the 77th Cannes Film Festival, 39th Guadalajara International Film Festival and 27th Guanajuato International Film Festival and 19th Shorts Mexico; "Él, Detrás del Arma" and 22th Morelia International Film Festival (2023) winner of best short film Made in Jalisco at the 38th Guadalajara International Film Festival and part of the official selection of the 21st Morelia International Film Festival, the 8th Skyline Benidorm Festival and 18th Shorts Mexico, "Cuando Cae La Tarde" (2023) official selection at the 10th Queer International Film Festival in Playa del Carmen, 7th Dulcísimo Ovario: Women's Video and Film Festival, 2nd Festival Salvaje: International Social and Community Film Festival, and "Verano del 99" (2024) official selection of the 8th Tequila International Film Festival.
